We were given a room in the 14th floor, and all our requests were granted - one large bed, non-smoking, late check in. The staff was very friendly - many were Filipinos, so we were able to converse with them well and they were very helpful when we asked questions such as directions to a place, the nearest bus stop and shuttle, and so on. The location is definitely an advantage - the hotel is walking distance to the city center (Senado Square) and other popular sites such as the Ruins of St. Paul. There are also nearby food stores where you can get good food at an affordable price. We'd stay here again if given the chance!

Location, friendly staff, and clean room. 8,7 Although the room was clean the hotel is a little dated and the bathroom plugs need replacing - however the reception area has been completely renovated and the new coffee shop is open until 11pm. The TV was very small and offset from the bed (room only had one chair) but the reception was good - the hotel is being renovated over time and these things will no doubt be included in the upgrade.

The staff was very friendly though, and I still enjoyed my stay.
