It has a great bakery next door and has a restaurant next to the lobby. The hotel is in the CBD, which is normally a positive. In Cebu, however, it seems that this is a setback. A lot of the development and better shops are further out into the suburbs. Taxis are plentiful, however, and this was not an issue.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Basilica del Santo Nino, the Magellan's Cross and Fort San Pedro, the main attractions of Cebu City. The reason I chose the hotel was its close proximity to the ferry ports. The hotel rooms were fairly basic, mine had no window but the room was clean and reasonable for the cheap price I paid. The staff were very friendly, there were some issues with the key cards that evening, but the problem was dealt with efficiently. Solo travellers should be aware when booking this hotel that many guide books advise against staying in downtown cebu as it is supposedly unsafe and notorious for muggings and other such crimes. I personally had no problems though.
