Adarin Resort”
Staff was friendly & did everything necessary for a good stay. Breakfast was good & had cold beer by the pool. Hotel rented me a scooter so was easy for me to go where I needed, when I wanted. I'm sure taxi services would be good here too, but I didn't use one. Location was pretty good on the North central part of the Island. It is not that far from either the ferry port or the airport.

4 days – 3 nights – at the Adarin Beach Resort and we love it 2 min drive from main road in Mae Nam, so you don’t get any traffic noise on the resort Quiet place – on the beach, Stunning sea view from Pool, restaurant & bar We had a De Luxe Villa ( # 108 ) – was clean & nice, free water, coffee & tea, and 20 mtr from the sea. Resort not overcrowded, - very relaxed, and quiet place to stay. Staff is SO friendly and helpful: They arranged: -scooter rental ( Mc Jeans’ service is very good ) –transport pick up at the airport, travel plans to Koh Tao, and transport to the pier. -they also have a massage house on the resort - pls go there – highly recommended * Breakfast incl. – was all good – lot’s of things to choose, and they had an egg-station, where they cook yours eggs/Omelet they way you like. Diff.- kind of bread – and a good coffee - all in all good & plenty breakfast Thailand level. On our wishlist for next time : Better WiFi - really slow .. sorry

Excellent staff, but I would not come back”
The staff were amazing. They were kind and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Upon arriving we switched to a better room, our first room was disappointing with a door with big gaps in it. The room we switched to was better, but not worth the 30 dollars extra per night . We paid for a breakfast but it was disappointing, cold food in chafing dishes without any heat sources to keep the food hot. Fruit dishes with a lack of fruit on them, a lack of bread choices. Plates, cups and food constantly running out. We feel like we overpayed for our stay.

Adarin Beach Resort is very relaxing the beach is so private and quite, the place is good for couples, if you like to to relax to a quite and beautiful beach Adarin Beach Resort is perfect to stay. The staff is amazing can speak English good and the room everyday clean and full of amenities. Definitely i will come back again.

Friendly Hotel directly at the seaside”
At the Maenam-Beach. It was a very nice stay there over New Years Eve, where they served delicious food. It was nice because it is not a crowded hotel like others there at Samui Island. It is possible to rent a motorcycle there for the normal rate as everywhere. It was my second stay there. This time I had a bungalow directly at the beach, last time more behind (30 seconds away from the seaside). Both wonderful! Nice to swim there in the sea or in the pool. From the main street about 5min walking away. Great and quiet place! Very good place for families, they can let their children alone there, because no traffic around! Very safe! Security (also very friendly) all over the night! Happy to come there again! - from Austria.

Found Adarin last minute & it was a perfect get away. Really nice staff, very close to the beach, great view & friendly feel. The beach in front of the resort has eroded but I didn't mind as there's beach to each side & it sort of added to the quiet but would be a consideration for someone with mobility issues as the only way to the beach was down concrete stairs.

stayed for 10 nights at ac bungalow, there was haidrier, safety box, hot shower and minibar in the room, and a nice swimming pool at the bar. there is wi-fi, though not too good. the hotel is situated a bit far from the main road, but that's ok if you plan to rent a "motorbike" or a car. one notice - don't get it at the hotel, because the motorbike owner cheats with the price of the rent and the cost of repair in the case of an accident. maybe because of spoiled relationships they didn't make up the room the last day. and he last detail - close the door to the bathroom and don't keep food open in the room in order to sleep without cockroaches. they are really big)))

To whom it may concern, My husband and I stayed at your hotel yesterday night ( feb 19 2019) everything was great. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. We agreed your hotel was a good place until we recieved a phone call to our room 302 at 11pm, waking us up. Someone asked when we were planing on leaving, what time, etc. I felt no longer welcome here. I have worked in the hotel industry and traveled all my life and I have never ever felt this bad, I would have never ever dared to call a guest this late for such a ridiculous reason . We had breakfast and left at 7h30 am because we felt like we had been pushed out

Lapaz the best”
In new lapaz choose rather better rooms as the quality rises faster than the price. We got second best room offered and it was very nice in good price. The top room with the direct view on the see are even better. Being honest the food was quite average but the location and hospitality of owner is enough gratitude. Small hint: it looks better than at the entrance so dont be scary and give it a shot☺☺☺.

My stay here was good. staff quiet but efficient .room was big,lovely jacuzzi, could have been cleaned a bit better but was ok. w kettle would have been useful. but the view and being right on beautiful beach made up for that. overall a nice resort that needs a bit more attention paid to it but very happy with my stay in bewchfront room. :-)

Very good value for money”
Although we ended up paying more than planned as per our reservation - having reserved two twin beds online and been given a double - we were very pleased with this hotel. Friendly staff, excellent food and a really nice location, right on a lovely stretch of beach. Also quite handy for the airport and ferry terminal so good for a short stay.

The hotel were doing some building work while we were there so upgraded us to a beautiful beach front bungalow. The staff were all lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Calm clean quiet & the beach ”
The beach is clean and nice and if you are staying in the beach front villa you get the hear the ocean . I loved my stay there but may be they can improve their breakfast a bit . Will definitely come back

Beach holiday minus the actual beach”
We arrived at New Lapaz Villas expecting a beach. When we got there, at 2pm in the afternoon, what we discovered was more like a concrete pier - a tide so high that all the sand had disappeared under 50cms+ of water. Ominously, all the deck chairs around the pool were stacked in a pile - this hotel was empty. So there was nowhere to sit, and so far back from the main road nowhere to walk to. Expensive taxi trips and frustrating long walks eventuated. Other than that, our deluxe room had air-con which did not work and hot water which smelt like a sewer. The entire place felt like it was in a state of decay, and the cranky staff, expensive charges for drinks and internet and lousy breakfasts did nothing to help. The one saving grace of this place was the family dog, Poppy, who was one friendly soul on the concrete waterfront. The garden surrounding the bungalows is also very pleasant and well maintained. So on the surface, this place seems okay. The next morning the tide did go down, and we got our swim on the rapidly eroding beach - but not before we had made plans to leave Koh Samui for better beaches further south. Avoid this place at all costs. You have been warned - the pictures lie.

Cute getaway”
Would I come again: Yes. It is set back off the main road. It is on what seemed to be a nice beach with a nice pool. The staff is courteous, but the Internet is pricy. Motorbike is $50 Baht more than it should be. I would NOT recommend the cheapest one. I started there and you have no TV, wood floors with some cracks (not big) to see the ground, and AC the blows on you all night. Take this advice...get the next on up, it is worth it. And since i do not like AC blowing on me (gives me a cold)I just mved the bed.
