I had an amazing experience in this hotel. This is by far the best decision I’ve made throughout my vacation. First, the check-in was very smooth and automated. It was fast and convenient! The room I got is on the upper floors upon my request. Very clean, no smell and had complete amenities. The room is spacious enough even for 2 guests (Im a solo traveler). There is good space to store your luggages under the bed. The room layout is well planned. It’s small but very convenient at the same time. Everything working and as is from the photos. Toilet is very clean which is one of the important factor for me. The bed is on the so-so side with pillows not so soft but comfortable enough. I love that the hotel has its own onsen (grand spa). I’ve used it every night after a long tiring walk and it provides relief! There is lawson on the 2nd floor so no need to get out to grab some snacks or other essentials. It has lounges and a rooftop view! The view from the rooftop is spectacular. I wish my room is in this direction but all good, I get to see different views every day. Although the pool was closed since they only open during summer season, you may still enjoy the view and lay down to rest on the provided benches. I’ve stayed in apartments and other hotels before but APA exceeded my expectations particularly for this hotel. I hope they continue to provide excellent service and amenities as I plan to stay here again when I get back to Tokyo. The staffs were polite and very professional. I also had an amazing aromatic massage experience, though a little pricy but it was very relaxing. What a way to end my trip in Tokyo. Checkout was very smooth, you just need to drop your key card on the provided machine and viola! Ps: Elevators can be too crowded during peak hours and sometimes takes a long time to arrive but this didn’t affect my overall experience at all. Thank you Apa! Until next time ❤️

The hotel is not located at the heart of Tokyo and it takes some time to travel from the Tokyo station. But, it’s located very close to a subway station and there are quite a number of places to eat and drink around the station. (Mostly closes at night) On the other side of the hotel, you can walk along the Sumida River, which is serene and peaceful. On the weekends, there are some events at the Sumo arena in front of the hotel, so it gets a bit crowded and loud around the hotel/station. Anyway the location is perfect. The area doesn’t seem particularly safe though, I caught a local person sit next to my table at a coffee shop and stare at me for no reason… but I guess that can happen anywhere… Definitely give off the local vibe. My trip back to the Narita was a hustle too, as the subway lines skip some stations in the morning. Went back and forth to get on the right train…. The hotel room is a bit aged and there are some skid marks on the white wall, but the cleaning service is great. I really love the clean bathtub always. I don’t think they are wiping the tray in the bathroom where the amenities are placed, because it looked dusty. Never got to go to the public bath on site. There is Lawson in the building and so being able to stock ur fridge at midnight with your slippers on is a great merit. Staffs are nice but the lobby gets super crowded sometimes. Also I got the feeling that they separate domestic/international travelers by floors, so when you line up for the elevators you never really cross the other group. This hotel didn’t have the power converter that I could borrow so I had to buy one from the convenience store.

Convenient and Away from the Crowd”
The hotel is located just a 5 minutes walk away from Ryogoku Station. The room is pretty much clean except for some area on the head of the bed which is kinda dusty. Will be good to wipe it once in a while. Apart from that, the room comes with a bath tub if you prefer to soak without the presence of the public. They do have a in-house onsen/spa but they get pretty crowded at night. not forgetting to mention that this hotel comes with a built-in Lawson. For all convenient sake, you can easily pop by the mart for your snacks/emergency needs. Location wise, Ryogoku Stn is just 2 stops away from Akihabara . Access to other areas like shibuya/tokyo station takes about 30mins++ . The area is also quieter compared to the more popular spot. I love myself a less crowded area as they are not "overly populated" with foreigner. Couple of food options located near the station itself so you can easily find yourself a meal nearby. overall, im happy with my stay and i would definitely love to stay again in this place.
