Asia Backpackers Made Our Holiday!!!”
My friend stayed here and I stayed at a hotel round the corner, we spent almost our whole holiday at the hostel (by the bar). The owner (english guy) was amazing! sat and chilled with us all day, gave us the best advice and knowledge on Pattaya, even got me a FREE TATTOO from the studio across the road! He took us for a tour round Pattaya and he mountains just out of kindness. This place is Cheap! the food is good and its only 100baht for a full english breakfast. Beers were 60baht an water 20baht. Its also open 24 hours. The area is perfect! just a bit away from all the gogo bars and people screaming at you etc, so you get left alone. The lady who works behind the bar is outgoing, polite and just a great all round person, she help us out daily and we got to know her very well as well as all the staff. finally, at night you have a girl/boy (ladyboy) who's is also really nice. she gave us some funny nights! I could honestly not say a bad word about this place and the staff. When even I return to Thailand it will be to this place, they honestly made us have the best holiday ever! Great hostel and a great manager”
Would definitely reccomend this place to any solo travelers or even groups. The manager has a good knowledge of pattaya and the surrounding area and was able to point me in the right direction for pretty much everything i had planned to do. The night life at the hostel was good, only going to get better because the chat i had with the manager he said it had only been open for 2 months or so. Still a very well run hostel and i made a couple of new friends. If anyone is going tell them I say hello (Also i would recommend the cinema around the corner in the evening to avoid the heat. very cool in there and cheap i think i paid 120Baht for a ticket and 25 baht for the drink

New Hostel in a great Location”
First arrived after flying in from Cambodia , first impressions was of how new and clean the place was (thats because its only just been purpose built) Had a dorm room on the first floor with big secure locker and the bed was superbly comfy. Met some great backpackers from all over the world in the downstairs bar and had great fun there. Staff very friendly and speak excellent english. Will stay again on my return.

Surprising, chilled out, just fine”
First thing for me was surprise that their actual for dorms in cash in person was more than 100tbh expensive that promoted price here on agoda. So I was forced by the staff to sit and make a reservation via the net. And they kept telling me it takes hours(!!!) for agoda to proceed with the reservation...well in 20mins I was in my room. Rooms are ok, clean, toilet is working and so are showers. There was a problem with the wifi during my last days afternoon (just after noon) and the staff said they wont fix it that day...that was surprising and not rly pleasant but whatever. In the end the price was good, it was good beds with lockers included and the location is very good too...so in the end if you are really willing to go to Pattaya as backpackers, this might be the place

I really enjoyed my stay at Asia Backpackers. It's a moderately well located, very cheap, but rather clean hostel. I had a fun time, and met some pretty cool people while there. Would definitely stay there again~

Good quality”
I expected to see kind of a hell, because of price and other reviews...but surprisingly it is simple but very good hostel. Clean and air conditioned from evening till morning. You could choose it with no doubts. It's not Hilton, it's not private...but man :) you choose super cheap hostel :) and it's good

You get what you pay for”
If you are on a very tight budget, then this is the place for you. The location is good enough that you could still walk to the beach road but then there were lots of other hostel on Pattaya 2nd road which would be much nearer. I stayed in the private room (located in a different building behind hostel) and it was quite awful to be honest i.e. the room had NO ventilation so it was really hot, the worst after a long day of walking around etc. Good thing i spent the whole day outside and only came back to sleep. Nevertheless, the condition was clean (room and the shared toilet). But for the price i paid, i really can't complaint. In retrospect, I would probably opt for a different hostel the next time i visit.

Great stay”
I recently stayed at this hostel and was pleased to have done so. The dormerties were unlike any I have stayed in before in the past. While the are in essence bunk beds the layout afforded us privacy and having our own light and power was a big plus. The place was always clean and the staff were terrific . The beach is a few minutes walk away and the list of tours the hostel provided was spot on

Room ok but showers terrible”
Room was ok but I'm not crazy about the locker design, at floor level and you need to literally crawl to get anything in and out. Toilet door on my floor was not able to lock, so whatever you do in there be prepared to have people walking in on you. On top of that, shower was not working but there was no way to know until you are undressed and ready to turn it on. Staff didn't advise where the working showers were until I came down to reception wearing only my towel. On upper floor showers are very poorly designed. No shelf or hook, need to put everything including soap on the floor. At the end of showering your towel and clothes will be all wet, no way to avoid it. I found the receptionist to be less then friendly, not rude but definitely lacking Thai hospitality.

I had a great stay at this hostel. I met so many nice people, I stayed for 5 nights! The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The dorms are very clean and very well laid out. Location is great. Would highly recommend this hostel for all reasons above! Thanks guys!

cheap so shouldn't have expected so much”
Very cheap so shouldn't have expected so much, I stayed at private dorm which is located at the back of reception building. about room, cleaning is acceptable but bunk bed is nearly broken and no ventilation inside that make me feel uncomfortable. there's only one toilet+shower for 8 beds in private dorm, wi-fi is not working. Staffs are nice and helpful.
