Unique and charming room”
We had a wonderful stay at the Ayutthaya Bouchic Hostel. We stayed two nights, one night in a superior and one in a standard room. In both rooms, the main draw for us was the cool loft-style beds. The only difference was the Superior was larger and had a more comfortable bed and a wooden bath outside. The outside bathrooms and gardens were very nice. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke great English. The place is kind of far from the main cultural attractions of Ayutthaya, but you can rent nice bikes there or take a 100 baht tuk tuk into town to rent a motorbike, as we did. Overall, I recommend this 'hostel' very highly.

Adorable, homey & classic! Awesome service!”
I want to go back to the Bouchic Hostel. The owner rehabbed an old barn into cute boutique rooms and decorated with his own collection of antique furniture pieces. He's also quite an accomplished artist - check out his paintings in the lobby. There's a nice little fish pond and a fair bit of greenery, which makes a really calm, natural atmosphere. The service was fantastic! Breakfast is actually included (which isn't that great) as well as free bicycle rental, which is a really fun way to see Ayutthaya (everything is in biking distance if you don't mind the heat). Also, there aren't really many commercial businesses around, so if you need to get food, stock up or get it before coming. If you're thinking of going to Ayutthaya, I definitely would suggest staying overnight at this place. Affordable, cute, and a great place to retreat to after a day full of sightseeing.

Lovely rooms, Thai style decor with all the comfort you need.”
No restaurant but coffee and tea available, a night market and 7/11 convenience store are 500 metres away. The Guesthouse has some free bicycles to use for the shopping run, for sightseeing it is better to hire a tuktuk for the day, you'll do enough walking in the temples as the old town of Ayutthaya is quite large. I'd stay at Bouchic Hostel again, the little garden and the nice, large wooden rooms at a reasonable price make the stay very enjoyable.

romantic hotel with friendly staff”
bouchic hostel is a romantic, small location near ayutthaya. the rooms are clean, when you have a shared bathroom you need to go outside. to walk to the town ot's a little bit too far, but to see all the temples, it's better to rent a bike and this you can do also in this hostel. the staff speaks very good english and helps you with all your questions, what's the most important temples to see, they have timetables for the train, fruits are gratis and for breakfast you can use the kitchen, which contains hot water, toaster, fruits, coffe, malt-chocolate. ice-cubes are free they have an own restaurant. next 7/11 is 10 mins walking to the river and a small fod-market too. enjoy your stay.

Wonderful place with the very nice staff”
Very nice experience in this lovely hotel. And the room is so clean and quiet, with a graceful courtyard. Expecially the staffs in this hotel, they are quite kind and helpful. Definatly worth to visit. One thing maybe a problem or inconveniencee to those who are prefer to live in the center of the city, there is a distance from hotel to the internal city. But Ayutthaya is just a very small city, and the hotel can also provide bicycle for free, just for 10~15 minutes riding, you can go into the internal city.

Nice litte place just outside the city”
this is a lovely little hotel/hostel and, all in all, really enjoyed my stay. the dorm room was nice and spacious, and i was the only one staying there for my entire visit. it is a bit outside of the city, but you can get around easily by bicycle to all the major temples. it does seem to be far from any nightlife though, if that's your thing. the bathrooms/showers are open-roofed (with a tarp over in case of rain), which gave them a cool feel, but also invited a lot of mosquitoes in the morning and evening. food options are also reasonably priced and very tasty! for the price, this place was a bargain.

Good price/value ratio.”
This was a great place to stay for a couple. It was possible to rent bikes which was very great because Ayutthaya sightseeing by bike is a good idea. Also there was no problem with our late check-in. The room was clean and the bathroom was climatic. I recommend this place.

Lovely hostel and excellent service”
Really lovely place to stay! We were met by the sweetest women on arrival who showed us around the place. It was more like a friendly, cosy bed and breakfast than a hostel. We had complimentary bottles of water, shampoo, soap, and towels in our room which was unexpected but extremely welcome. The biggest problem was there was a lot of mosquito’s which got into our room. We left the light on so it was partly our fault but it would been helpful if we warned about the situation. They provided us with free mosquito cream though, and the next night we had no problem at all as we used the red mosquito lights instead. Breakfast was good, unlimited clean water for us, they helped us with everyone we needed/ asked, and called us tuk-tuks when needed, as it was a little out of the centre. Overall an adorable place to stay, with very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

friendly family, unique designed room.”
the location of the hostel was not easy to find, room design is ancient ayyutaya style, a big graden filled with many guest rooms, and the family of the owner was also live in. a cute cafe next to it. it will not bother you if you rent a motorcycle. quiet at night.

Escape in Time”
I reside in Bangkok and wanted to "get away" from the city rush, for a while. I selected Ayuthaya as my target (60-minute minibus ride for $2.00) and ended up in a nice hostel circa Thailand at turn of the century. Time machine. Just what I wanted. There was a nice (cheap, green curry chicken and stir-fried vegetables for $3.00) restaurant on the river (a 5-minute walk). Watching the barges float by. My 24-hour escape to Ayuthaya was $50.00

Incredibly beautiful hostel, lovely staff.”
I had a bit of trouble finding this place (slight understatement!) but was such a beautiful place to stay. I was the only lone travller here so unfortunately the social side wasnt great but everything else was fantastic. The staff were all so smiley and helpful, they even picked me up on my bicycle when I got lost in the city at night. Unfortunately, the location is not great. If it was, this would probably be the best hostel i've ever stayed in!

Good service”
We stayed in this hotel for 9nights, the location is far away from the down town, hotel offer free bike, go to the night market by bike for 30mins. We had a small accident which my friend he broke his leg cant walk. And the staff they are so caring and tried their best to take good care of us. They offered free water and changed the towel every day. We really like the decoration of hotel, the room looks so nice, but the mosquitoes bother us alot. We can hear everything from the other room next to us. 15mins walk to 7-11, and restaurants. There are not that much options for food. We really had good momeries, hope will come back again.

Worth A try”
Quaint, unique, experience, gardens are amazing and every room has its own character. If you don't expect too much you wont be disappointed. There is not a great selection of hotels in Ayutthaya so put this one on the bucket list of new experiences.

Good”
This was a nice hostel, very cute decor but could’ve done with a bit more cleaning, down the side of the bed there was quite a few spider webs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When booking through trivago the hostel appeared to be quite central however when we arrived in Ayutthaya we found out it was far out and took at least an hour to walk to the historical park. If you don’t have a mode of transport and plan on walking then I wouldn’t recommend it, 7/11 was a 10 min walk away and no restaurants nearby.

Worth your money”
We've got a standard room with outdoor bathroom. I really love how they decorate room with Thai traditional style but the bathroom is a bit a scare of people eyes. I heard a noise on top of the roof which I can say it is a 'rat' but nothing bother us til morning. Anyway, there is nothing perfect. The room price is so cheap for individual room. We recommend you!
