What a wonderful place to stay!!!”
The guesthouse is located in the agricultural area 30 minutes outside of Sukhothai, but only 2km from the airport. If your looking for nightlife, this won't be for you. On arrival, we were greeted at the door with the warm, friendly smile of our host Tar. Tar and Nit, are sisters and run this beautiful 4 suite guesthouse. They went out of their way to do everything possible to make our stay a pleasant one. Tar arranged a tuk-tuk for trips to the historical sites in the Old City and those to the north at Si Satchanalai. After 2 full days of hiking around temples, we were hot and our muscles were sore. A dip in the beautiful swimming pool was just what was needed, followed by a Thai massage in our room arranged by Tar. This may have been the best and most peaceful place I've ever spent anywhere. Staying here is like being in your own home. The suites are large and beautifully decorated. In the main area is a kitchen with refrigerator stocked with ice cold beer, soft drinks and water. You're on the honor system here and can serve yourself. And then there is the food! Nit is the Chef and they have a wonderful menu of Thai dishes, all cooked to order for dinner. We are adventurous eaters and anytime we have an opportunity to try something new, we do! Rather than just order our favorites off a menu we tried something a little different. We asked Nit to just make us whatever she felt like making each night and she enthusiastically agreed. Every night was a surprise and every dish served was both a joy to look at and a delight to taste. The food was simply outstanding!!! I simply can't express how much we enjoyed our stay here. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unique and memorable stay. We left Baan Nakaow feeling more like members of their family than guests. If your lucky enough to find a room available here on your trip to Sukhothai, book it fast. It won't be available for long! And prepare yourself for a truly relaxing and enjoyable time!

Wonderful Guest House”
Baan Nakaow is a great getaway place from the hustle and bustle of city living. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess. The rooms are a good size, the location is excellent for relaxation as well as convenience to the airport. We got to experience the true local setting of Thailand's village residential environment in this quaint guesthouse. The home cooked food was excellent. Ground transit to and from the airport was also provided by the kind hostess. All in all, this place provides the convenience and luxury of a modern home, cared for by a wonderful hostess and nestled within the quaint little town at the outskirts of Sukhothai.

BN excellent stay”
Baan Nakaow is a very good guesthouse, we enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, comfortable and a large size. The excellent staff were friendly and efficient. The shower, lighting, Led tv, airco all operated well with lots of cupboard space. The breakfast was very good. The location is convenient, just 3km to Sukhothai airport in the countryside. It is excellent value for money and i will stay there again.

We stayed here for just two nights, although my sister was lucky to stay a night longer! Baan Nakaow is an absolutely beautiful guest house with the most friendly and caring owners. Everything from the location and impeccable rooms to the delicious food and handmade soap made this stay truly enjoyable and memorable. We are already looking to return again next year....but for longer!

gorgeous setting, with luxurious accommodations ”
I stayed only one night at Baan Nakaow, but wish I could've stayed longer. Finding the place is a bit tricky since it is located in farm country, and one definitely needs a car. But the drive is worth it. The owner and staff are fabulously nice, prepared a nice dinner for me, were very helpful in suggestions about seeing the ancient city of Sukhothai, and even accommodated my cat who is traveling with me. I wish I'd allowed more time for the area, which is rich in history, beautiful ruins, and friendly people.

Fantastic guesthouse with outstanding owners”
Baan Nakaow is probably the best guesthouse I've ever visited - it is just fantastic. I stayed only for one night but I would have extended my stay if I haven't had to be somewhere else the next day. The concept of hospitality is really lived in this house. If you have a chance to stay here during your visit in Sukhothai, then do it.

Very pleasant stay in a nice guesthouse, "feel lik”
We have spent our best stay in Thailand in Baan Na Kaow guesthouse. No hotel or large guesthouse can compete in terms of "home feeling" and personalized service. Our 3 kids loved it! The house is large and well built, well equipped. The rooms are large and quite compfortable. The swimming pool is very pleasant and its size is enough for fun and relaxing. Tar and Nit are very friendly, and it was a pleasure to discuss with them about life in Thailand and other issues. Nit is a very good "chef" and we had very good dinners and breakfast. The guesthouse is located about 20 km from Sukhothai city, but it is an advantage if, like us, you like feeling quiet and discovering the rural life in Thailand. The guesthouse helped us book the taxis to spend the day in Sukhothai park and to go to the bus station.

Awesome experience”
Baan Nakoaw is a special place because of the two terrific sisters who have partnered to run what has to be one of the finest Bed and Breakfast guest houses in Thailand. It is centrally located near the Sukothai Airport and between (approximately 30 km) the two major temple sites in the area. We stayed only two nights but will treasure the four special memories of the place and the lovely owners. The first afternoon we were picked up, by sister Tar at the bus stop across from the hospital near Si Samrong, just 15 minutes to the north of Sukothai. She drove us to the lovely, clean, tastefully outfitted modern room within their guest accommodation well described by previous reviewers. Nit, our other sister hostess met us on the steps. The next morning the ladies arranged a reliable English speaking tour guide to take us to the ruins. They also gave him the address of their favorite Sukothai noodle shop which had delicious bowls of noodles for 25 Baht. We chose to get up early and head out to the Sukothai Historic Park at 6:00 am. We loved cooking with our hosts one night and sharing sharing a dinner with them. Nit is a fantastic cook and will make you some of the best dishes you have tried in Thailand. If you are lucky, she might also be wiling to share her kitchen with you so that you can try to cook some authentic Thai at home. She and Tar work together to bring you the true taste of Thailand. For us, a stay at a place like this is the essence of why we have chosen to travel globally for the past year. We would encourage you to book for at least three nights!

Great price for an excellent stay”
We had read the great reviews and we easily agree. The guest house is in a quiet little village. We arrived to a huge and warm greeting by the two sisters who own and run the guest home. The main area available to guests is a huge, clean and spacious room with a kitchen, dining area, and lounge area with a tv. The guest rooms surround a nice and very clean pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and dinner was amazing! We had an excellent stay and for a great price!

A little slice of heaven”
Just wonderful. I felt so relaxed. I was incredibly well fed and well cared for and I loved buzzing around on a scooter through the 'real' Thai countryside (rather than having a city experience). I will definitely be back. Something about this place and the surrounding region really touched my heart.....and don't even get me started on how Sukhothai airport is simply the prettiest little airport in the world! It even has has its own safari park.

Wonderful Oasis ”
Stayed here for one night before we left Sukhothai wish we had stayed 2. Nit is a wonderful host. The room was clean and very spacious although the pillows are a bit too high. The pool was a delight and the verandah perfect to watch the sunset. It cooks all the meals herself and they were absolutely delicious! The ride to the airport was 200baht.

The owner is very kind. I’ve got the free ride offer to the airport in the morning around 7:30 a.m. Breakfast is home made with high quality ingredients. There are various menu that you can choose 1 day before. The facility is good as same as the promoted pictures on website. Extremely recommend if you’re looking for the place close to the airport in the valued price.

Feels like home”
The villa is a bit far away from the historical parc, but it's worth the trip. Anyway, Nit and Tar will help you with taxi or buses if you need, or will give you a ride. The place is amazing, beautiful house, new rooms with all you need, nice garden and swimmingpool with a view on rice fields, it's perfect. This place feels like home, I loved it!

This was the best night we had on our 10 day tour of northern Thailand, great hosts very fortunate to read previous reviews and booked based on the comments. cannot fault this place, I had some problem finding the place as my out of date GPS map did not help but the owner soon guided us around to the home stay. Nice supper as its a little way from any village but super food. I will definitely stay here again and longer than just one night. The home stay is a good place to relax in the country, nice and quiet.

Over the years I have stayed in many places and this was one of the best, the owners helped with everything even collecting from the airport which is only a few km's away. We hired a motorbike from them which helped see many places. The swimming pool was fantastic and the service first class.This is a quiet place and is an excellent place to recharge your batteries. We definitely come back.
