The hotel is located about midway between the border and Aranyaprathet and is laid back from a fairly busy dual carriageway between the town and the border. The staff speak next to no English which is to be expected bearing Ming the location. However I did have a Thai translater on my phone, so I was able to put my point across. In the early evening I tried to get a hotel card to inform a taxi where to return me. I was eventually given a card and asked if I wanted a taxi. The next morning the same staff were on duty when I asked for a taxi to the bus station. I was directed to the dual carriageway and told to flag my own taxi down. I had to wait nearly 30 minutes before a taxi came along. Not a place I would ever consider staying again.

Go-to at the border”
This is a very simple but clean guest house. It is just far enough away from the border to here if you have luggage you will need to get a tuk tuk taxi (arranged by owner, 100 baht). There is a nice little restaurant very close called @Home. We did not travel with small children, but this would be a great place for small kids as there is plenty of room to play on their property.

Die Zimmer sind ganz nett und sauber für den preis, aber selten so ein schlechten schlaf gehabt wie in dieser Unterkunft. Die Klimaanlage war zu laut und der Ventilator hat erst gar nicht funktioniert. Die Wände waren sehr hellhörig, dass ich dachte, die Hühner die neben meinem Zimmer ab 3Uhr früh stundenlang das schreien anfangen, direkt neben meinem Bett stehen.
