Really beautiful grounds”
Great first impression, when we walked in we saw brightly coloured walls and beautiful gardens with a fish pond. You walk through their restaurant on the street, past the stage and see the front desk. Checkin was quick and we were in our two adjoining rooms just that fast! Rooms were clean, with a minibar fridge, big bed, spacious bathroom and shower and just enough room for us. Could have used more drawer space but that’s quibbling. Pool area is as pictured and the beach is gorgeous. Restaurant food was quite good (very good breakfast buffet but a little high at 300 baht). Surfboard rentals on the sand from Zach, who adopted us and became a great info source for us. He would give tips on the boogie and surfboards to any who rented, and even bought us some local Thai curry pastes for us to bring home! The beach has 4 large rectangular frames with netting, like a large hammock that get shaded by mid-late afternoon (which is a treat in the heat). Lots of beach loungers with cushions and umbrellas for no fee. Beach service from the bar. Rooms were cleaned daily and there is a convenience store right across the street and another 7 doors south. Bank machine and McDonalds just to the north and walking distance to the busier areas. No shortage of restaurants at all. The Baan Samui street restaurant and stage were just opening up at the end of the week (start of Christmas break), so cannot speak to the entertainment. Our room was quiet with no noise from the street. Walking down the beach was fun and wasn’t far to go get a bevvie at busier places with very happy hours! All in all a good place to stay, no complaints.

I honestly have no "cons" for the Baan Samui. The pool is perfect. The layout is really good especially leading down to the clean beach. The deck seating is nicely done each morning and get down early for seats! At night time the beach is nice to relax at, even as you look at the resort with all the lights. I had a double room with my sister and found it was quite comfortable and also suit families. Good value for money! Clean bathroom. The premises are kept in such great form. Friendly and helpful staff!

Very nice resort”
Loved our stay at Baan Samui Resort. Rooms look fine, cleaning was good, food quality and selection was very good, staff was friendly and helpful. A special thanks to TAN who treated us as her own family during our stay. Location is good with walking distance to malls and restaurants. Nice and large pool. Hotel is on the beach with its own Beachside restaurant in the evening.

Fantastic Stay ”
This hotel is fantastic the staff are great waitresses Tan and Mean very friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and comfortable very good Aircon modern features bathroom 5 star quality and a big comfortable bed . This property right on the beach and a short walk to the busier part of Chaweng . Would definitely recommend this hotel having a nice pool area means you can relax or choose the beach the choice is yours . I'll be back for sure

Great hotel for the money”
My second time staying here, and you get great value for the money spent. If you are looking for a 5☆ hotel, then this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a place that is centrally located, has the friendliest staff, is clean, and a place that people return year after year and are some of the friendliest people that I have ever met, then this is the place for you.

The BEST Hotel in Thailand”
We keep on returning to this Hotel. I can not fault them in anyway. The Staff are amazing, in particular Tan and Bobo. The rooms are clean the breakfast has an amazing selection. The location is fantastic, right on Chaweng beach. We will return.

Excellent service and location. Value for money”
I love direct beach access and personal touch from the staffs. If you need a private driver and tour arrangement, all can be done at the hotel reception. My only regret is I didn't think to ask for english-speaking driver as i'd love to ask for stories and history. So many great food nearby and also Central Festival. Definitely will book again for my bext visit. My only dislike is the semi-transparent bathroom glass door and window.

Beachfront accommodation”
We stayed at Baan Samui in January 2019 with another couple that we travel with regularly. The rooms were great and the breakfast was good. It was situated along Chaweng Beach in a good location near restaurants, shops and basically near anything you may need. We would definately stay again.

Another Short Stay at Baan Samui”
One of the best places to stay in Samui if you want to be in the centre of Chaweng. Having both a beach and street access, the resort has a prime position of being centrally located in the middle of Chaweng. It is also just a very short walk to mall with all its shops, restaurants, supermarket and Cinema. Dare i say it is also next door to probably the best pub on the Island - 'Tropical Murphys'. The resort has a decent sized pool including a smaller one for toddlers or you can just walk a further 10m or so and be on the beach. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Excellent value for money, fantastic location close to the action but away from the noise”
The friendly staff were exceptional and so helpful - all of them. Would highly recommend for couples who don't mind plain and simple rather than ritzy (we celebrated our wedding anniversary - they did a beautiful little arrangement in our room) or families with children, it's a very quiet place that is in the middle of the action, just the right distance from the major shopping and eating areas but has the bonus of being away from the big noise resorts. Breakfast is good, although we ate other meals on the streets and market's. The rooms are clean and tidy and most come with a private balcony. If pristine decor and pure style are your thing then maybe stay elsewhere, but this quaint resort was perfect for us. We had a great time and we will definitely be back again.

Relaxed hotel in great location”
This place has a relaxed, fun vibe. Best thing is the location; right on the beach, but also close to the heart of Chaweng with shopping, restaurants, massages etc. The pool and beach front area is great, there were always plenty of chairs and towels. The stretch of beach straight out front of here is the nicer, quieter part of Chaweng Beach, but still an easy walk to the action. I felt comfortable there as a solo traveller.

Nice hotel”
Thanks and special mention to Rina the receptionist. Good place for family or solo in group. Pool is big but open at 8.30am. why? Staffs are very helpful, always grateful. Van from hotel to airport is 400bhats, outside is 300. In the centre of the town and next to the beach which is convenient. Great stay will come back if price is sound.
