Local Style”

Pros: Very nice building and grounds, with a large room, good price and location. Cons: the beds are awful. In Thailand hotel beds are usually rock hard, but the mattresses we had we just deformed. I could hardly get out of bed in the morning. We booked for 3 nights, left after 2 ... If you don't mind a bad mattress, then this place is lovely ... though very local style. Breakfast was Burmese/Thai - very good, but may not suit western families. The sole person managing the place could not speak English ... nor much Thai even! We asked for a fried egg - she said she didn't know how to make one. If the mattresses are changed (and they start providing some soap!), then the place will be 100% improved. Worth a look ... if you have a rubber spine.

Good stay ”

I stayed one night in March 2017 and really enjoyed my time here. The staff are friendly and helpful although they do not speak English very well. I took a family room for 3 of us and the room was great. It was clean and very nice. I like the main building I stayed it as it has character and more traditional. I wish I could stay in the small cabins though. However, the location of the hotel is difficult to find even for locals, the music from nearby restaurants is disturbing, there are mosquitoes and you must remember to keep your door shut at all times, they need a shower curtain so the bathroom/WC will not be wet all the time. I have a few suggestions - some basic English lessons for the staff (because the visitors will probably ask the same questions), better mosquito prevention, a simple map to the hotel address and a bit more variety to breakfast (just white bread and jam with instant coffee for now) like local fruits. I enjoyed my night at this hotel and would recommend it to others!

The hotel is very difficult to find for farang. regrettable there's no douche curtain whereby the whole space get wet. there's no restaurant.

Fairly pleasant”

A little noisy with music from nearby restaurants playing until past midnight. No chairs inside the bungalow. Fairly pleasant with good Internet and front balcony.

Magnifique maison en bois”

Une superbe maison très bien aménagée. Malheureusement, des voisins très bruyants, un personnel trop peu présent et un petit déjeuner quelconque ne s'accordent pas avec le cadre qui mérite beaucoup mieux.
