Great setting in greenery surroundings.”
set about 1km from the main bustle of chaweng, still within walking distance of attractions. opposite the famed samui ice bar (baricesamui.com). steep hill setting with bungalows dotted among the trees and greenery, all very attractive. some of the bungalows could do with upgrading, although we found them clean with adequate facilities. friendly and helpful reception. best feature is the swimming pool at the top, quite a climb but worth it when you get there. it is possible to be driven up by 4wd vehicle via a side road. all in all very good value for a family's economy stay in samui.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff”
This hotel is built on a mountainside. So the hike up to your room and pool may be too much for some. But the view at the top, and the pool, are worth it! The staff is so friendly and help with your bags, and give a feee shuttle to Chaweng beach. Very good value .

Near halal food restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. ”
This resort is near the tourist attraction and only 2 mins walk to halal food restaurant. They also have shuttle to chaweng beach. Overall i love this resort and will come again soon.

Quite and efficient place in a good location”
It is simple but efficient place, located near the central Chaweng area, however a bit aside, so you can enjoy tranquility, while being close to all the tourist places in Chaweng.

I love this resort. Super clean. Super silence. Just that you need extra effort to climb the hill to your rooms. But still, it's worth it! Near to attractions. Thanks uncle to helps us with luggages that morning.

Was able to just kick back on the porch and have food and a few coldie's, it is so close to everything. Lovely helpful team of Thai people. I am glad that I changed to this resort, sure it is an older resort, but it had everything I needed and more, especially the hillside pool.

Good value”
This place is a good value for the money. Stayed in the cheapest room. The decor was pretty bad--pink walls, red satin curtains, etc. but the room was clean, which is most important. Had some trouble checking in--they didn't have our reservation and communication was a struggle. Once another staff member came things were figured out. Breakfast is not included and they didn't tell us until after we had ordered. The pool, although a hike, is incredible! AMAZING view. When we were leaving, the staff member at the desk called multiple places to help us book ferry tickets then because it was last minute, he drove us personally to the place where you get taxis to the dock making sure we knew what to do. Overall would recommend if you are looking for a good deal.

When arriving at the hotel we were given a drink and felt welcomed from the start.the receptionist then took our bags to our room.hotel is 5mins walk from the centre of chaweng but within easy access to bars,restaurants and the beach.the taxi service provided by the hotel was very useful.

Enjoyed our stay ”
Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Short walk into the busy part of chaweng... Noticed they do offer free taxi and pick up from the beach and mini mart at certain times. Also offer good scooter rental. Bungalows were clean and spacious. AC worked well. We had no hot water and the wifi was a bit temperamental however. Walk up the hill to the pool, which was big and had a nice view. They offer breakfast which was a bit expensive for what it was but convenient. Overal we would recommend this hotel.

the resort is close to main attractions. the owner was always kind and helped us throughout our stay with smile. the staff at pool, restaurant and reception are good. the tour packages are bit pricy but not too expensive.

Perfect budget stay”
The hotel is a very good location 5 minutes walk from the shopping mall and 15 minutes from Ark bar and green mango (clubbing area). The staff was very nice. The room is very basic. So its not a hotel for people looking for luxury stuff or an advanced room. Yet the rooms were clean. An important note the people is a 5 mintues walk on a hill from the reception so do really count on the pool.

Got updated from a road side basic room to a bungalow upon arrival which was a very nice surprise. A lot of previous negative reviews mention the bungalows where on a hill, hardly a worthy complaint, an excuse to get fit I say! The room was nice, bathroom needed updating and to be better sealed from the outside as there were a lot of ants. The swimming pool was awesome and had great views. Worth a stay if you’re looking for cheap accommodation within a good location, a little further out from the main roads but you beat the noise

There was a pool on the mountain, and stairs were serious, but a view was the best...!! The room of the cottage had room, too, and an atmosphere was very good. It is the natural rich hotel which can be spacious in a porch.

Good value, comfortable bungalow”
These bungalows were very comfortable. They are basic, but clean and very big with a nice big porch area. They are not on the beach but it is only a 10/15min walk to the beach or town centre - however there is no need to walk as the accommodation provides a really great free shuttle service to and from these areas which takes only a minute or two or drive. All the staff are good and the guy that drives the shuttle is very friendly. He will take you any time between 7am and 11pm, you can arrange a time for him to collect you, or he will give you his phone no. so you can just call him when you are ready to be picked up. We found most bars in the centre or along the beach would lend us a phone to make the local call so we didn't need to pay international charges from our own phones. The bungalows are built on a very steep hill, which if you do not take the free shuttle, you will have to walk up if you have one of the bungalows at the back (the front ones are at the bottom of the hill) When you arrive at check in they will drive you and your luggage up the hill so you do not need to carry heavy bags up! I would recommend this place to anyone travelling on a smaller budget that does not want to compromise on cleanliness or good staff. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

just what i was looking forty ”
i do not like to be in the centre of a resort, preferring a more rural surroundings but also to have easy access to choice of restaurants. this hotel is about 15-20min easy walk to the bustle of north chaweng, yet it is nicely located on a wooded hillside, so it was ideal for me. the room quality was good and well equipped with working fridge and good picture satellite tv. nice pool but a bit of a climb to get there, again i liked this. if you don't fancy the walk into town they will gladly give you a lift to the beach or to tesco, but really its not needed. all in all a very pleasant stay and it is in my view fairly priced, especially if there two of you.
