Wonderful hotel, excellent service”

I stayed in Pattaya many times, in hotels, condos and private homes BUT my experience at Baboona Beachfront Living Hotel was by far the BEST. 1. Great location - beach front, in quite North Pattaya, many great restaurants/services in immediate area, quick ride to walking street 2. Staff - very helpful, friendly and respectful 3. Value - great deal, I paid double or more at 2 other hotels that were nowhere close to Baboona's quality and service 4. Great rooms - LCD TV, DVD player, very clean overall, quite at night, good sized rooms, good size shower with strong water pressure 5. Work-out room - private, on the first floor, very clean 6. Meeting room - well designed with large LCD TV, internet and comfortable couches I highly recommend this hotel for its value, location and great overall experience in beautiful Pattaya.

Great Hotel at a Great Price”

We've stayed at the Baboona Beachfront Living Hotel on several different occasions. It's one of the first places we try to book when we want to visit Pattaya. The beachfront rooms weren't huge, but they were certainly big enough to meet our needs. The rooms are clean, well-kept, and modern. In addition to the usual two bottles of free water, they even include a free can of beer and free juice. There isn't a pool, but with the hotel's close proximity to the beach we weren't concerned. There isn't really anywhere to park, though, so if you're bringing a car that may pose a problem. It might be best to call the front desk ahead of time and see if they can help with parking issues.

Baboona Beachfront”

Baboona Beachfront Living Hotel in Pattaya was a very nice hotel, with a nice staff, lobby and restaurant. The location on the north side of Pattaya beach was good. It may be worth the extra money to pay for a sea view. Much nicer than the rooms without. The location was convenient to shopping, the beach and the baht bus to walking street. Overall, it was a very good value for the money. Will return.

Comfortable Hotel”

We've stayed at the Baboona Beachfront Living Hotel several times. We enjoy that it's right across the road from the beach, the staff is attentive and friendly and, overall, the rooms offer great value for the money. Also, there is a well-equipped library right in the hotel where guests can borrow books and DVDs. This is a nice feature that few other hotels have. The only unfortunate thing was that the beach was terribly dirty this time. That's not the fault of the hotel, but it's something to take into consideration for anyone who is interested in swimming.

Excellent Hotel on great location”

Highly satisfied in my 2 days stay in Baboona Hotel, Pattaya. It's located on the prime area of beach road. Good restaurants around the hotel including hotels own. Hotel is relatively calm in respect of Pattaya night life, suitable for traveler want some quiet time during holidays. Hotel interior decorations are amazing, gives a special feelings in your mind. Big beds and good room amenities. Excellent big sea view balcony overlooking the Pattaya beach road but take high floor to have clear view. Good Thai & western cuisines are available in the hotel restaurant. Good Spa arrangements are also available in the Hotel itself with competitive rates.

Nice hotel at a very good location”

Had a short 2 night but good stay at Baboona. Was the first time I stayed here. What I like about this hotel is that it is not a massive size tourist hotel but a smaller size boutique style hotel. The atmosphere is more relaxed here and the area around the hotel is more quiet at night. It is located directly opposite of the beach at the North beach road and around 20 minutes by foot to the walking street. Room was spacious and clean (you have to book the 5th or 6th floor seaview deluxe though). Bed was comfortable, airco working well, flat screen tv with many international channels, decent bathroom with a well working rain shower and hand shower. My room had a DVD player but my friend's room had a mini sound system as well. The rooms are fairly modern in design. You get daily one beer, bottled water, a coke and a milk free from the mini bar which is a good touch. Breakfast selection is not big but all eggs, bacon and sausage are all freshly made to order with additional Danish pastry, fresh juices, fruits, cereals and coffee being offered. Overall an ok breakfast though. Staff is in general friendly and helpful, there is free internet in the lobby and free wifi in the room. The small lobby is cozy with sofas and there is a library relax room as well and a small terrace at the front of the entrance. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and if I return to Pattaya I will definitely stay at Baboona again. I can recommend it highly.

Clean and value for money”

When we (my sister and I) first arrived in Baboona, I was surprised that the exterior looked like something from the 60s or 70s. But they have done up the interior nicely, there was a spacious library cum lounge area, with a computer and internet connection. The wireless in the room was fantastic, I could download stuff on my iphone with no hitch; loved that! Now, I didnt realize that Baboona standard was clean until I had to move to another hotel (could not go to BKK due to the crackdown) so had to stayed 2 more nights in Pattaya but Baboona was full. So the comparison with the other hotel was stark. That's the adage of never judging a book by its cover, hotel V had a swanky exterior, and very good design ideas. Unfortunately, the room smelled of smoke all the time (coming from the other rooms i guess) and the place was not clean and things looked worned out, run down for a new hotel. Wireless was almost non-existent despite hotel saying that it has wireless in rooms. At Baboona, the rooms didnt have any smell at all! The beds were comfortable and I slept very well there. Breakfast was ok, and though the staff did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome, it's value for the money. On another note, it will be my first and last trip ever to Pattaya. The beach is not great - no where compared to Phuket (I knew that but we were planning to go BKK and its proximity to BKK was big plus). And it's really not enjoyable for female travellers without male companions; there are so many men travelling in groups, or alone there (some with escorts, some without), and I have been approached by these foreign men on the beach, at the malls and in the elevator of the second hotel ! Becuz I am Asian and I am tan... If you are a group of girls travelling, give Pattaya a miss, you will not miss anything.

A Returning Customer”

This was the 3rd time my wife and I have stayed at the Bamboona. We live in Bangkok and travel to Pattaya relatively frequently and have made the Bamboona our new “first choice” when choosing hotels. It’s stylish and right across the road from the beach. The staff is professional and friendly, and there is complimentary WiFi in the rooms. The shower is quite nice and we enjoy the DVD player in the room, considering we’re not taking part in the more wild Pattaya nightlife. However, we continue to be disappointed with the lack of sprayer beside the toilet. We understand that the hotel caters mainly to foreign tourists who only use toilet paper, but to ostracize Asian travellers (and foreigners that are accustomed to Asian living) is unfortunate. The breakfast is standard, but some variation in the set menu would be appreciated for those staying more than a couple of nights. Overall, though, we’ll continue to recommend the Bamboona to fellow travellers—we have found it to be really good value for the money.

Pleasant Surprise!”

As our first visit to Pattaya, we did not know what to expect from the hotel save for the beachfront location and seaview room. Upon arrival, we immediately had a good feeling about it as the facade and lobby were very well-designed. We loved the Library (very unique) for it's book and DVD choices, as well as the very comfortable set-up. The hotel also offers free use of gym and WIFI, always a good thing! The newly-built spa was already available as well. Design-wise, we loved the colors and modern feel in our room. It was small but very cozy with good lighting. The seaview is incredible especially in the morning where you can see all the boats and parasailers from the balcony. We had a wonderful stay and were treated very nicely by the staff at the front desk. We felt like we got much more than what we paid for, would definitely come back to Baboona. Well done!

A great place to stay”

I found the Baboona Beachfront Hotel to be a wonderful hotel. The front desk staff, excellent, kind, friendly and willing to help to make your stay a memorable one. The cleaning staff, quick and efficient in getting your room clean and looking great! The hotel has its own library! It is a very relaxing and quiet room, right off the lobby/reception area. The lobby/reception area also has a feel of home to it. The decor is very pleasant and relaxing and homey! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and truly quiet in every way. The walls are thick enough so you cannot hear what is happening in the rooms next to you. Unlimited WiFi access great connection speed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in while staying in a hotel. Now that we're all of the positive things about it, I have to say that I had only one complaint and that was the breakfast in the morning. Most everything was cold and always the eggs were undercooked. A great hotel to stay at.

my stay at baboona hotel was very nice i liked everything about the hotel from the nice clean roooms the nice and very pleasent hotel staff.The service they provide and the good thai food they serve.I also liked the location of the hotel.Next time i visit pattaya i most likely stay at baboona beach front living again. Beachfront Living”

Beachfront Living The Baboona hotel on Beach road Pattaya does not look very impressive from the outside but onced through the doors it is very neat and tidy with a very friendly reception team We stayed here at 3 different times during a 4 week period and the rooms were spacious and clean with all with a large screen tv and dvd player and of course a view of pattaya beach the breakfast had a limited choice but was very good but no thai food on the downside we were in a 3rd floor room and a bit close to the electicity box (probably 3 metres from the balcony at eye level) and a bit of traffic noise could be heard overall a pleasant stay but probably good for just a few days

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

I enjoyed my stay at Baboona Beachfront Living Hotel, I had medical issues that needed attetion & there was a Hospital less than 3 minute walk away. There were several bars within walking distance with very great live music. I have stayed in all areas of Pattaya, I would say this is the best location I have stayed at. You can walk just about anywhere you need to go, but if you want to gat there quick, just grab a motorbike or p/u truck taxi. Overall my stay was very relaxing. Just what I needed.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Baboona, and can't wait to go back! Great value, great location right next to the beach at North Beach, so away from a lot of the chaos yet close enough to be in the action when you want to be. The room was very modern, clean and spacious. Good selection of TV channels including a movie channel. We had a room with a sea view (which we booked in advance) and it was a great opportunity to 'people watch' and just generally watch the world go by outside by the beach. Breakfast was good, quite a wide selection including omlettes cooked fresh to order. The hotel organised an air-conditioned car to drive us back to Bangkok airport, which was cheaper than the taxi we took to get there, so we were very pleased! We hope to stay here again. I don't think you can find better value in Pattaya.

3 nights in Baboona”

I must say that Baboona Beachfront Living Hotel was a nice experience while visiting Thailand, Pattaya. The staff were very nice to us and they helped in serving our needs in whichever way possible. The location of the hotel was just in front of the beach and was surrounded by shopping areas; small shops as well as shopping mall. Of course it was surrounded by a great number of restaurants.

Baboona is located just across the street from the beach. The staff is professional and friendly. The cleaning staff is prompt and thorough. I can't think of a single negative to say about this fine little hotel. There are only 39 rooms and the Baboona is a fine little hotel just a block from soi 6 and a 10 baht bus ride to all parts of Pattaya. The hotel is guest friendly and treats all guests with courtesy. If I return to Pattaya I will be sure to stay at Baboona.

Nice Boutique Hotel Budget option in North Pattaya”

Stayed one night at Baboona at the end of November 2012, and only have good things to say about my stay. The hotel was the cheapest option I could find on Beach Road in North Pattaya, as it sits surrounded by the bigger more expensive resorts like the Hard Rock and the Hilton. When we checked in, the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived till we checked out the next day. We booked an Ocean view room on the front side, which was very clean and stylishly decorated and it was lovely to watch the sun set from the balcony. The only negative was there isn't really any dedicated parking for the hotel, so if your driving in then you may have some concerns about your vehicle. The have a very limited number of spaces "reserved" out front using the staff motorbikes but it's right out in the open all night long. Also, the night guard spend most the night taking a snooze, which was a bit worrying. However, over all it was a lovely experience and i'd definitely stay there again!

Our New Favorite Hotel in Pattaya”

We come to Pattaya from Bangkok fairly often and have stayed at some of the neighboring hotels at the north end of Pattaya Beach. So-far, we like this one the best. We liked the big flat-screen T.V. in the room and the DVD player. The room had access to free WiFi and the room had a safe. It was a very clean and well-decorated hotel. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The breakfast was basic, but standard. The hotel is right across the road from the beach. The hotel has a basic little gym and a separate air-conditioned lounge with sofas and reading material. We really appreciated the lounge as an additional place to hang out and relax on the one day it rained--it was much better than being restricted to just our room.
