Nice room near the beach”
The room was so cleaned but a bit smelly but understandable because the hotel just re-open after covid 19, The staff is so nice and friendly, location is so good just next to White Sand Beach, all facilities in room is good. Aircon or hot shower worked so well with strong water that I like the most. Small apartment complex by the sea”
An excellent place to say on the best part of the beach. Sand and bars outside but just along from the busier/noisier stretch. Close to shops and other facilities. Large, if slightly spartan, room with double bed, fridge and kettle. Good shower. Small balcony facing the pool. The restaurant was closed due to covid but I know from previous visits it is good. It’s a nice place to sit and watch the sunset. Friendly staff.

Honest review from foreigner living in Thailand”
During pandemic many hotels, restaurants, and shops are closed. This place doesnt even open their restaurant so we must go out. 1. Location is the best place if you want to have easy access from; Pharmacy, 7/11, open restaurants, small shops, night market and ofcourse the sea. 2. Accomodation: The room is big enough, few marks from wall assumed its from killed mosquitos, shower doesnt have enough water pressure, the wardrobe is built in concrete and I believe mosquitos hide there bec. its quiet dark and at night they come out. The pool is designed for kids and non swimmers. Parking is enough for 4 cars and 6 motorbikes. Now if you are lucky you can park inside but this parking is always occupied. I dont recommend the place for big a group travelling with big bikes, unless you dont have problem leaving your bike or car on the road. 3. Internet is on and off and the front desk is often empty. If you need something at night forget about it. The place need improvement for sure. Overall our experienced staying here doesnt have to be yours also. We managed to find positivity to have fun and glad to get out after few months staying inside the house. Cheers.... Stay Safe!

The hotel had a good location on the beach but rooms had obviously been empty and not aired and were very musty. Lots of stacked chairs , presumably for high season between the rooms and the restaurant / bar wasn't even open for breakfast or evening drinks. Very disappointed. As I noted didn't even unpack. Walked away from our pre paid deposits and found a much better location a few kilometers down the road, for only Thb 200 per night more. Definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel, certainly not at the price that was charged.

A little hidden Whitesand gem!”
I know Koh Chang well, but didn't even know Bamboo existed until my visit here. It is right in the heart of Whitesand, down it's own small track. The resort is compact and the rooms surround an good-sized swimming pool. The rooms are well equipped, clean and spacious. It can feel a little like a fishbowl as all the rooms face in to the swimming pool, but the place was virtually deserted when we were there. There is a restaurant, which in low season is availiable on request. The resort is run on a tight level of staffing so they do not keep it open constantly. A quick chat and everything was fired up within 30 minutes. There is a nice opening onto Whitesand beach and many of the bars and restaurants are a short walk away. I would definitely come again.

Our stay was very good, the staff at the restaurant were friendly, the beach is literally outside your door, the rooms were clean and a nice pool. Koh Chang, though, is fairly boring. If you want an island holiday with a nightlife, Koh Samui is a better bet. But if you want peace and quiet and just relaxation, Koh Chang is for you.

A good place on White Sand beach”
This is a nice place to stay. It is right on the beach, with a pleasant swimming pool. The rooms are nice and clean. There's a grill restaurant which serves good sea food barbecue after sunset. It is close to all the comforts of the White Sand beach. Definitely recommendable.

Strengths: The hotel is ideally located on White Sand Beach, popular but not overcrowded. A decent breakfast was provided, with an omelette chef, muesli and yogurt. Real fruit juice, not Tang. Many Thai food options. Rooms adequate to purpose, got a good night's sleep every night (stayed for four nights) Pretty reliable wifi. Evening dinner on the beach was excellent and well-priced. The lemon-steamed fish was particularly notable and recommended. Areas for attention: the bathroom could be improved with the simple addition of a floor-standing shelf unit for soap, shampoo, etc., in the shower stall. A toilet paper holder would be appreciated. A chair in the bedroom would also be useful.

Location is perfect, at the beach but still peaceful. Pool area is really nice with trees and flowers that makes it cozy. Restaurant is ok, breakfast was one day a buffet and the other day from the list. Room on the first floor with a terrace to the pool very nice. Little bit mould and bad smell in the bathroom but survived two nights, didnt want to change the room or complain about that. Nice staff and cute dogs running around. Sunbeds at the beach, 50thb for one but would have been nice to have it for free. Great, fast free wifi.
