Perfect way to kick start my summer holiday”

After arriving at Koh Chang, the Song Tao driver took me to the wrong side of the island and after he realised he drive off and left me in the middle of nowhere. After othe Song Tao drivers refused to take me because it was far and too late, i rang the hotel and spoke to the owner Niko. He said the same thing as the Song Tao drivers, but made me the very generous offer of letting me start my holiday from the next day so i didnt lose any money. I rented a scooter and drove to the hotel the next day. It took around 1 hour 30 minutes to drive there, but the route was very scenic.The east side of the island is very beautiful and secluded, not many foreigners go there. When i arrived at the hotel i spoke to Niko for a while, he is a very friendly man and was very welcoming. The bungalow i stayed in was very beautifully crafted and sat above a fishpond. I opted for a fan bungalow, this was perfectly fine as i was out during the day when it was hot, and it was cool at night as it was by water. The staff are very friendly and drove me to and from their newly opened karaoke bar. All in all i enjoyed my stay here very much and would highly recommend this resort.

Quiet and relaxing”

It is remote, very far from shopping and nightlife, which was what we were looking for. The room was ok but we had to share with many ants and mosquitos. The tv only had a couple of Thai channels, no English. I enjoyed using the kayaks for paddling around the bay and islands. The pool was very small but ok. I also liked relaxing in the hammocks with the breeze from the bay. The food was really good. Overall, it was good value for money and we enjoyed our stay. *The manager and staff were very good but will be changing next month.

nice location, not so good beach, very quiet”

Nice location but no beach. Very nice beach is approx. 5 km away. Restaurant on site was running out of seafood after 2 days without replenishment. Resort is good, however, a vehicle is required to get to beaches and restaurants. Scooters can be rented in the resort.

Great little resort in a quiet location”

The stay was pleasant but the hotel is very far from anything (this may be good or bad depending on what you think). The bungalows were nice and cute, but the beds were kindof hard and you could feel the springs and wires within the mattresses, they really need to replace those.

Very quite location”

This resort was so quite.. It's in another side of the island. Maybe next time when we don't want to see anybody, we should go there.. Its location is far from verywhere, everything... So sad The manager, and their staffs don't speak English so well.. That was difficultly in communication.

lovely Garden and friendly staff”

Great helpful staff,nice gardens,away from the town shops, but only a five minute walk to there Basic room

Quiet”

We were the only people there, as for food - asked fir burger and fries and the burger was good but small and they had run out of frozen fries. No remote for aurcon so had to use mains switch for on/off so either cold as a fridge or baking like an oven. Electric shower did not work. The place was dead.

Needed an emergency accomodation for the Dec. 30th, only place available. stay away from it during holidays, price is a rip off.

Horrible place. Staff from hell. Cats in the kitchen and wild dogs everywhere. We ran away at first light.

Tranquillité”

Bien,le complexe est agréable,tranquillité,bungalow confortable,la piscine est très petite,la salle de sport aussi.Accueil inexistant dommage.

Ich war froh als ich wieder weg war”

Also ich war als Backpacker unterwegs und hatte somit keine Ansprüche. Brauch kein Luxus. Mir langt nette Gesellschaft. Aber ich bin im Ban Mae Resort angekommen und wurde unfreundlich begrüßt geradezu ignoriert. Im ganzen Resort konnte nur eine Frau englisch. Der Rest hat dich links liegen lassen. Hatte riesen Feuerameisen und einen toten Vogel im Bungalow. Ich brauch kein warm Wasser und keine Klima aber wenn es so ausgeschrieben ist sollte es funktionieren. Dafür das nur ne Hand voll Leute da waren hab ich eeeeewig auf mein Essen oder Frühstück gewartet. Andere Gäste sind selber in die Küche und haben sich ihr frühstück gemacht. Wollte dann früher abreisen weil es nicht zumutbar war. Wollte aus Kulanz mein Geld für die Folgetage zurück. Hätte sogar zwei Tage länger gezahlt als ich da war. Nur um entgegen zu kommen. Keine Chance gezahlt ist gezahlt keine Kulanz!!!

Nicht sauber”

Bungalow nicht sauber,sehr weit abgelegen ,ohne Auto oder Motorroller nicht zu erreichen. Hatte für 2 Nächte gebucht war aber keine Nacht dort, besser etwas anderes gesucht,nie wieder .

authentiek, wel afgelegen”

eigenaresse was heel bereidwillig, maar ander personeel kwam niet vriendelijk over. Beperkte ontbijtkaart en weinig keus voor ontbijt in nabije omgeving (of scooter nodig). Ruim aangelegd verblijf met mooie bungalows. Zwembad was wel erg klein en niet aantrekkelijk om in te zwemmen.

ได้นอนในห้องบนเตียงที่มีหลังคาคลุม มีกำแพงปิดมิดชิด และโชคดีที่หลังคา และกำแพงบ้านไม่รั่ว ไม่งั้นได้นอนตากน้ำฝนแน่นอน และไม่มีน้ำให้ดื่ม ส่วนห้องเพื่อนก็มีมดแดงตัวใหญ่ มาอยู่บนเตียงโดนกัดจนเช้าเลย

บรรยากาศธรรมชาติ ไม่ติดทะเล”

บ้านพักอยู่บนเกาะในส่วนที่มีคนน้อย สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก เช่นร้านค้า ร้านสะดวกซื้อ บาร์อยู่ไกล ที่พักห่างจากทะเลเยอะเลย การบริการของที่พักก็ธรรมดา ไม่มีอะไรพิเศษ ไม่ประทับใจอะไรเท่าไหร่เลย ห้องพักนอนได้ สะอาดพอรับได้ แต่ในห้องพัก รวมถึงตัวที่พักเองไม่ค่อยมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกอะไรมากมาย ห้องพักขนาดกลาง ไม่เล็กไม่ใหญ่ แต่ห้องน้ำเล็ก พนักงานก็บริการในระดับกลางๆ อาหารก็พอรับประทานได้ไม่ดีไม่แย่ คิดว่าคนไทยคงไม่ค่อยชอบแนวนี้ แต่ถ้าเป็นฝรั่งพวกแบ็คแพคเกอร์น่าจะชอบบังกะโลว์แนวนี้ ประมาณสันโดษหน่อย ราคาประหยัด ใกล้ชิดธรรมชาติ
