Room: Seaview room with breakfast Floor: 5th Stay: 15 nights (Sept/Oct 2022) TLTR: Overall I would highly recommend. The Good: * Efficient & friendly staff * Good breakfast buffet, though the Western options do not change * Small but very nice pool area * Great location - right in the middle of the Soi 7 nightlife * Good sized room * Great water pressure (rain & manual shower heads) * In-room safe can fit a 15-inch laptop (though for me a little tricky to get it out) * Big comfy bed * Free chips, water & sodas (replenished with room service) * Fast & reliable Wi-Fi The So-So: * From my room “seaview” is more marketing then reality. Though you can see a bit of the ocean - the closed Eastiny 7 hotel dominated view. The rooftop pool area has a better view. * The chair in the room is a bit uncomfortable (the wraparound arm is too high for me feel comfortable - I’m 5’8”) * They only give you 2 pillows (I got a couple more when I asked, but given the size of the bed, I thought they would default to more then 2) In case it maters to you: * At night you can hear muffled bass sounds from the speakers in the various bars in the area * This is a guest friendly hotel (not sure if there is a guest fee - I was with my Thai girlfriend) * Small balcony - at most it can fit two, standing adults, no sitting area * Lots of construction going on in the area, so you might hear a very faint sound of jack hammers * Good sized TV in the room - though I never used it so I cannot speak about its reception or channel selection * I am not aware of any airport transfers to/from BKK * Masks are encouraged but not enforced - vast majority of the employees are masked. Quirky * On a couple of occasions, the elevators picked me up on my floor (expected) but went up one floor before going to the 1st floor (this happened to a couple of guests that I small talked with)

Amazing stay at blackwoods”
Just returned from a week long stay at blackwoods Hotel and from start to finish it was the perfect stay. All the staff are amazing and so friendly no matter what time you roll through the door at!! Rooms are excellent and cleaned every day if requested. Breakfast was good although I only made it a few times. The pool and bar area on the roof is very nice and a lovely spot to relax. We will definitely return to this hotel again. For the price it was 5 star all the way.

Almost perfect! ”
The hotel location is perfect by soi 7. Have many bars, restaurants, laundry services, it's walking distance to the beach, central festival and soi bukaho. Rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful with everything. Everything in the room feels new. Breakfast is good with 4 changing dishes daily. My only problem was with room design and lacking items in room. The toilet sink was part of the bedroom so basically you will hear and see your partner brush his teeth and face. Towel cabinet was also part of the bedroom same as the towel hangar part of the clothes cabinet. It doesn't feel nice to have towels where the minibar food is set. In my room there was no bathrobe, ironing items or towel hanger in the bathroom. There was some noise from the room upstairs of furnitures and running. The hotel policy is "no outside food or beverages are allowed in room" - this is the first time I see this kind of strange policy however for me there was no issue. Overall almost a perfect stay 9/10.

Exceptional”
We stayed in a suite. The room was exactly like in the pictures it was big and spacious with a small fridge and balcony. The bed was super comfy. They had a very nice shower and also a separate bathtub. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice, with good options for vegetarians. There is also a nice rooftop pool which is not very deep but nice to relax in. It is close to all amenities such as the beach, pubs and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel!

One of the best place around the area”
The staffs are very friendly, since this is a new hotel the facilities are nice and clean, also very new in term of tech. The hotel is close to the pattaya beach, you can pretty much walk to many nearby restaurants. The hotel is within reasonable prices, would come again and recommend to a friend.
