Buri Ram City Center hotels & places to stay

This is the best hotel in Buriram. Yes, it's better than the Amari which I have also stayed at. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The rooms are very nice. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and goes on till 2pm. The quality of the food was also better than what I experienced at the Amari Buriram which was also good as well. They also do a evening Buffet for 200 Baht which is also very good quality. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Buriram.

Location perfect, staff always smiling and very helpful, facilities are top class from gym to swimming pool, great place for adults and kids to chill especially the pool features which is a must to keep kids amused, the breakfast is above standard and food is really good (Thai and Farang) did not have to eat outside as food that good, the owner William is very friendly guy and always asked if everything was ok, stayed 6 days but also had a look at few other hotels and none had same quality/standard for price, anytime am at buriram will definitely stay at Venezia hotel

What a super little budget hotel right in the middle of Buriram City. Only 5 minutes walk from the bus station where there are all the different types of taxis to take you to wherever, and near to the bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were as they appear in the website photos, clean, spacious, good lighting and a nice shower room/toilet. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning unit efficient and quiet. I would recommend this hotel and will certainly stay here again. Well done Qoo Hotel.

the dutch owner was kind enough to mail us the gps coordinates of the hotel, so that we had an easy time finding its location, after a 4 1/2 hour drive from the international airport in bangkok. the reception staff was very friendly and helpful, and the parking space of this small hotel is sufficiently large, so that we could park our rental car at any time of the day. the rooms are large and functional---with respect to all appliances---which is not be taken for granted in thailand. and the hotel pool offered an excellent opportunity to cool down from the heat in that region. due to the relatively small size of the hotel, there is no buffet, but the a la carte selection offers more food quality and selection than at several thai hotels with buffet breakfast in that category. the hotel is also close to the major historic attractions of the buriram province, and it is only a 40 km drive to surin, a much larger city than buriram city.

I stayed here with my girlfriend who lives in Buriram, we initially booked for 10 nights but stayed an extra 3. Staff are awesome and only too willing to help. The room was serviced everyday to an exceptionally high standard. The location is very good being close to bus depot a short taxi ride to train and airport. Markets are close and handy 24 hour 7/11 just a stroll down the road. The bed was very comfortable, shower had great pressure and WiFi worked every time and did not drop out. This is my seventh trip to Thailand and I rate this hotel easily as good as many others that have charged double the price. I will stay here again in a heartbeat.

I had a great stay at The Thepnakorn and would recommend to anyone thinking about staying there. The room was a good size, the staff very friendly and accomodating, the food was great and the bar very relaxed. There is a good size swimming pool and the city centre is a couple of minutes away. There is a miny bus service to anywhere available from the Hotel. I would definately stay at The Thepnakorn again.

We had 2 rooms, 1 me and my wife, 1 for the boys (aged 15 and 10), the rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and everything was functional. The outstanding thing for me was the friendly staff, always made a fuss of the boys and made them very welcome, to the point of calling their room to ask what they would like for breakfast. The standard breakfast, fried egg, ham, bacon, sausage, toast, is not the best breakfast you're ever going to have, but you can order from a limited number of Thai dishes instead. The location is quiet but quite close to the City center. If you have your own transport you can easily reach a 7-11 within 2 minutes, or restaurant within 5 minutes.

This was our second attempt at getting to this resort - we were caught in the floods in NE Thailand the first time, but the owner honored our booking, even though it was non-transferable. We used it as a base to explore the Khymer temples south of Buriram. The room was comfortable and clean, with tea and coffee, and a hot breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The resort is quiet, which suited us, but the location - about 15 min drive from the town centre - requires own transport or a taxi ride. There are small local eating places and shops about 10 min walk away, but nothing major. We would stay again.

The hotel is in a good location for an easy drive to the Buri Ram International Racing Circuit which is why we were up here. You need transport if you are staying here as there is nothing within walking distance around the hotel. The room we stayed in was spotless and a good size, bathroom also was good with hot water in the large shower. The beds were a good size and very comfortable and the a/c was nice and silent. The breakfasts didn't offer a wide choice but were tasty and there was no shortage of food, the staff were still filling up the trays 5 minutes before breakfast ended, something you don't see in a lot of hotels. The wifi dropped out a few times over the two days we were there but overall it was very good. The staff were friendly and happy to assist. The only downsides were the lack of in-room facilities - no fridge, no tea or coffee and there was quite a bit of noise from other rooms, seemed like every time someone shut a door or went to the toilet you could hear it. On the whole it was a positive experience and I'd be happy to stay there again.

Although locates next to teh railway station, it was really not noisy and crowded, actually i can say it was quiet around. Breakfast was basic Thai breakfast - Rice Soup - Kha Tom but well made and it is better and healthier than a western breakfast anyway for a hot country like Thailand. Location was good, just in the middle of the city center. Room provided adequate levels of comfort for this money with a family with two kids. I need to note the fact that room was super clean. i can totally recommend this hotel.

Pros: 1) The resort situated in the city, but you need a car to move around if explore the city (Understand that this resort is about 3-4yrs old). Room is huge and has well maintenance. 2) Most of the resort provide only two bath towels but they provide additional two more face towels. Beside that there are a boiler kettle plus two 3+1 coffee packets...appreciated! 3) Individual resort have it own parking lot which is just beside your Villa, is really a plus to me because it make me feel safe (There is a night guide at the entrance of the Villa too). 4) My reservation including two sets of breakfast at your choice ,they even delivered to my room.. The services is super!!! The only con was at about midnight someone turned on techno music with heavy drums from far, it's really annoying interrupted our beauty sleep. Hopefully the management seriously look into this issue !!! For sure I'll still will reconsider making another booking attempt... Thank you.!

For travelers who choose to check out Buriram (and its closest shopping malls or any tourist sites within the town,this is the best hostel for you. It's a minute or two from Buriram train station. Restaurants or any places to eat, it's just takes few minutes walk only from the hostel. You can take sungtew (pink public vehicle) also if you want to go some places within Buriram where sungtew can take you.

the jintana seemed like a more up market hotel compared to whats available in buriram. mainly because it is fairly new.the panorama was a bungalow type cement structure set around a big pond giving that resort feel.infact all the different types of rooms are all located around the pond. although the panorama was a little smaller than expected, its greatest features was its 42” samsung lcd on the wall and new air conditioning. the breakfast was nothing to talk about as options weren’t available and you just got one fried egg, 1 piece of toast and some sausages and ham but it was included in the price.so they could probably do better on that aspect as the hotel is at least double the price of other hotels in the region accept for one which at least has a pool.the dinner menu was very cheap and food was good.there is also a very cheap restaurant near by. there was only one english speaking staff member on the day but he was extremely helpful.the hotel is located next to a small forest so there's a lot of bugs and small creatures at nights around the hotel.its tucked away about 200 metres inside a street away from the main road and 400 metres away from the main bus depot.we paid 60 baht for a tuktuk but it would be handy to have an agoda printout ready as nobody speaks english.i probably saw about 10 westerners all up in the city of buriram throughout my stay.overall we were pleased and will be back.

Everything was perfect here, I had a good vacation. Just arrived in the morning, the owner offered me the breakfast. Staff very nice, rooms cleaned every morning. The 4 dogs of the owner are also very nice. Hotel very close to the center of the city, around 10 minutes by feet. If you want to go to see the stadium and the circuit, you need to have a car / scooter. Only breakfast there, no lunch or dinner. A bit hard to find a restaurant around, but some cheaper. Very cheap and good quality. If you want a peaceful place, go ahead ! Highly recommended !
