D for disappointing ”
Feel I must give a true and honest review to save future tourists from this experience. Woke up at 4am every morning with neighbours cock! Crowing at first light... Extremely loud and continued for hours! Air conditioning is totally inadequate and makes room conditions unpleasant. Offered FREE WiFi but was very unstable all of the time. Offered breakfast included... To be taken in a small glass fronted lounge area that was unbearable with heat and no air conditioning. Breakfast offered was soup and chicken sandwich.... Just what you need!! Rooms were basic, shower area moldy and unpleasant. Receptionist was as helpful as could be, but not able to resolve any of these issues. I would neither recommend or return to this property.

Almost perfect. I aim to stay there again this year, if that same promotion price is still available at that time. The room is big, very clean and comfortable.. I wanna speak more about this hotel, but I kinda confused and started to forget now 'coz I stayed in other hotels in other provinces as well that same week... But I remember there was no shitty feeling for this hotel, By Dee @ Jomtien Hotel. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this hotel.

Little Gem”
I have stayed in Jomtien many times but my first time at Dee and was very satisfied. The first thing to say is Soi 1 has no shops bars or restaurants on it so it very quiet and quite poorly lit. However it 500 m to the Beach and same to second street. I stayed on 7 th floor which has a roof terrace with sea views, my room was spacious clean and well appointed, huge bed, great air con ,flat screen and wall safe. The reception is managed 24 /7 with free coffee constantly. The staff could not be more helpful. Definitely reccomend and will stay again.

Great Budget Priced Hotel”
This is a loverly little hotel close to the beach at Jomtien. It could do with some signage, as until you get to the door, you would never know it was there. It is on a very small soi just off the beach road, it has no views worth mentioning, think of it as a Travelodge based in Pattaya! The rooms were spotless and the staff are all young and eager - no restaurant worth mentioning (breakfast seems to be a microwaved option - better to go out to eat), no tea / coffee facility in the rooms, you go down to reception for hot water), no swimming pool (obviously), however I would recommend this hotel, it is very cheap, the location is good, so if you want simple facilities - it's a cracker!

By Dee@ Jomtien - I stayed here for 23 nights, great little hotel , room very comfortable, although the bed is hard, very little room to hang and store your clothes out of your case,would be an advantage for the Hotel to install some shelves, especially if you intend to stay for more than a week, the staff very helpful. Can't comment on the breakfast, I did'nt eat here. Hotel is close to the beach and many places to eat within walking distance. All in all a great hotel , quiet location in a side soi, good valve for money, I would stay at this hotel again. Not the best if you have kids , no pool here. I enjoyed by stay here.

One Night Stay at By Dee@Jomtien Hotel”
The hotel is located about 200 meters down a very dark, quiet Soi off of Jomtien Beach Rd. The road is in poor condition, and it was a rainy evening, so the soi gave the appearance of being deserted. The hotel itself has no signs visible from the soi... you must look into the lobby to confirm the hotel name. Inside the hotel looks new and fresh. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Check-in process took less than 5 minutes. My room was next to the elevator, but could not hear the elevator in the room. However, could hear the TV in the room next door. The room was very clean, well painted and decorated for a 2 star hotel. There was TV with alot (maybe 50+) channels, many international. The bed was hard, typical Thai style. The bathroom was also very clean with some toiletries. Bring a bar of soap though, the soap in the hotel is really tiny. What is noticeable is the lack of electric outlets. There is one where the TV and refrigerator were connected to, and another behind one of the nightstands. Otherwise I couldn't find any others, and none were convenient. There was even a lamp in the room that was not connected because there was no outlet! There was no breakfast included, there was coffee or hot water available in the lobby. We walked down the soi to the Eurostar hotel and had breakfast there. I wouldn't recommend that... the buffet was overpriced and did not look appetizing... the menu items were too expensive although the Thai food tasted good. Overall the hotel is a solid 2 star, and is an average value for this type of room. If you are looking for a place to crash after a long day or night, this would be a good choice.

One-night stay at By Dee”
The room and bathroom were clean, and the air conditioning worked quite well. Somewhat low water pressure in the shower, but not a big deal. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet at night. Small, but adequate breakfast. Just a minute's walk to Jomtien beach.

Very nice and new place”
The Hotel is very new and the rooms are nice and clean. The area dont look that nice but it is only 200 m from the beach and calm at night. The rooms are non Smoking rooms but some customer before must had smoked in it. The stuff tried to elleminate this bad smell but it does not worked so good. But at the end it was not the fault of the Hotel if some idiot is smoking in a non smoking room. So over all price value is very good and I would come back any time! The breakfast i dont joined so i can say nothing about it.

Newly built budget hotel with elevator, clean spacious rooms, good customer service. Don't expect too much from breakfast... (it's okay for this price) but coffee machine available the whole day - it's great!

Good budget hotel”
If you are looking for a clean budget hotel for a few nights then this is it. Free wifi, close to the beach and local transport. It works for me. If I had any critcism it would be the hard mattress and loud slamming doors in the corridor but that shouldn't out you off and I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel, very unhelpful staff”
Everything about this hotel was fine until we had to talk to the staff about a broken hose in the bathroom and the bike we rented from them. They were very less communicative, spoke just a few words of english "yes/no/ok..." or just shook their heads to you. It was frustrating and annoying since they barely understood what was going on. They rent their bikes for 200 baht a day with 1000 baht deposit, gave us an empty gasoline bike and later asked for a full tank when we returned it (?!) no matter how hard we tried to explain and remind them the situation from the first place, they just shook their head until some other staff showed up and said "ok". Thank god we just stayed one night since our favourite hotel nearby was fully booked that day. By the way their wifi is very weak. We used 4G from our phones instead. Rooms have windows with no view but neighbour houses and hotels. There's no swimming pool, just a sun deck on 7th floor. There's a list of kinda house rules and prices you have to pay if you get towels, mattress, duvet, pillows and other stuff in the room dirty.

Not that close to the beach but can walk out from almost end of soi then across the road to reach the beach about 5 mins walk. In the room seem like its start to be old wall started to cracked and laminate floor also not properly but anyhow overall still cheap if compared with other hotel during high season.

Overall the hotel was quite new, staff are friendly. The room was slightly small, but it was cozy to stay. The location was great, nearby 24hours convinient shop and alot of food stalls along the street. It open till late night. Highly recommend for those who looking for budget hotel with quality.

Small in side street of beach road”
Hotel built in 2015 and appears to have been put together on a low budget . Decor and furniture already showing signs of wear and tear. We paid £19.00 per night for bed only. Couldn't complain as it met with our requirements, however rooms are small, compact with views of run down apartment block opposite. Bathroom very compact . Plus point is Location has its just is a short walk from beach road , approx 250 m down a un made road so not really suitable if you were of poor mobility or a wheel chair user. Couldn't fault the hotel but would suggest it is more suited to up market back packers than couples .
