Central Pattaya hotels & places to stay

My friend stayed here and I stayed at a hotel round the corner, we spent almost our whole holiday at the hostel (by the bar). The owner (english guy) was amazing! sat and chilled with us all day, gave us the best advice and knowledge on Pattaya, even got me a FREE TATTOO from the studio across the road! He took us for a tour round Pattaya and he mountains just out of kindness. This place is Cheap! the food is good and its only 100baht for a full english breakfast. Beers were 60baht an water 20baht. Its also open 24 hours. The area is perfect! just a bit away from all the gogo bars and people screaming at you etc, so you get left alone. The lady who works behind the bar is outgoing, polite and just a great all round person, she help us out daily and we got to know her very well as well as all the staff. finally, at night you have a girl/boy (ladyboy) who's is also really nice. she gave us some funny nights! I could honestly not say a bad word about this place and the staff. When even I return to Thailand it will be to this place, they honestly made us have the best holiday ever! + price for what was a really good room. Book at hotel reception for best price. +receptionist spoke good English and was helpful. Thanks. +Good a/c +Good TV channels with clear reception on Sky +Good shower/fridge +Few hundred meters to beach and Central Festival but this could also be a negative. Depends what u want. -No lift although there was porterage which is necessary if on top floor as stairs steep. -No safe in room. Have secure boxes at reception but only open 08.00-17.00 after that u r stuffed. -/+ U r in the centre of Pattaya. Do NOT expect peace and tranquillity from the road/taxi rank/ 7/11 outside, to the other guests and their 'friends' at all hours of the day and night. Enjoy.

the hotel is in central pattaya (south pattaya). walking street (25 minutes) and pattya beach (15 minutes) is at the walking distance. it would be a good choice for the muslim travelers since there is a muslim shower in the bathroom and a subway nearby where you can eat a tuna sanwich if you don't find any halal food nearby. there is a seven eleven and family mart store right next to the hotel so you can easily grab stuff from there. if you want to rent a bike or get a massage done. its also there only. you don't have to go any far.

I really enjoyed my 3 nights I stayed here. The staff really friendly which I always appreciate. Free coffee, tea and even chocolate treats to enjoy in d Xpress across the street from PS apartment. Same hotel different building. The pool I used once was very nice and refreshing. My room was very clean and cleaned daily by friendly cleaners. The only complaint is the old tv with some channels very poor picture. For the 21 aud a night I'm happy and would return if back in Pattaya!

I spent a lot of time before coming and make my booking because was my last days of holliday and finally was a great choice. Everything is almost new all the rooms are really nice. Beds are the most comfy I've had since the beginning of my travel and the size is massive. Very new bathroom and clean. In this sense they change sheets and clean all room everyday if you want... My room was inside the building so you can sleep really well no noise nothing you can enjoy tv ac fridge everything or go downstairs and play pool with friends. Staff is ok some are friendly some less like almost everywhere. Last thing pretty much important for those who are here to enjoy their nights but wants to take care of their private stuff passport wallet etc. They have a locker with double key which open only with both of those key. Pretty important and safe. Anyway i will come back here next time. Also you are near almost everything and not far walking street maybe 12 minutes walking. Best value for money in pattaya for this kind of place and nice rooms with everything included.

Little House Pattaya is really good value. The room was a good size and is nicely fitted out. The bed was comfortable and quiet for sleeping at night. The hotel is in a great location not too far from the beach and Central is only a short walk away. The staff were helpful if you needed but didn't mind your business too much. I have stayed in a few places in Pattaya and I think for the money this is very hard to beat.

As a retiree living in bangkok, i frequently travel within Thailand, mostly to Pattaya. I stay at a variety of hotels, based on Agoda deals and traveller's comments. I found this rental to be amoung the best values over the past few years. The staff was pleasant and helpful, something not always available in Pattaya. The pool was small, but the location was very good for restaurants and massage parlors.Cheap songteows (taxis), were numerous and Central Festival shopping complex within two blocks. I will return here if staying in Central Pattaya.

I was there for 6 nights. initially we were told housekeeping was done once every 2 day. We requested for it to be done everyday and they agreed with no hesitation. Car rental is cheaper than market price (after googling) from the reception, taxi service is acceptable too. Taxi to Central Festival Pattaya 350 baht for 4 person. Have not tried hotel food so please disregard my rating on the food. Location is based on driving. Fair trade for quiet and view to rejuvenate over the noisy and busy street near the downtown area. Security guard is very friendly and helpful, always patrolling as well. Makes you feel safe in the area. Laundry is cheap too, 15 baht per item. Give them before afternoon and collect next day with a nice floral smell on your items. Rooftop swimming pool have a nice view too. The hotel is situated on top of a hill and its pretty quiet at night. Neighborhood area, pretty inaccessible, fair walk of around 5 minute to main road if you don't rent a car / ask hotel call taxi for you. In fact, the area still feel pretty safe if you come back to the hotel drunk in the middle of the night. Air con in room is pretty freezing after 15-30 minutes after you on it, set to lowest and activate hi-power. Fridge is always filled with 2 bottle of drinking water and no, they don't charge for those. Hairdryer is available upon request from reception. Cons: Rooms are not soundproof, can hear if people are walking in the corridors, opening and closing doors or your next door occupants shout in the room. Hot water is a bit "unstable" as it takes awhile for your adjustments to take effect and i will recommend anyone to adjust whilst the water is running thru the bathtub instead of through the shower-head. Amenities is quite minimal: showercaps, shampoo and soap. will suggest heading down to 7-11 at the beginning of the street to get my own shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste.

I stayed here for about 5 nights in January following a trip to New Zealand. It was reasonably priced and comfortable and the staff helpful. They had a good system of looking after valuables by providing lockers. I think you needed your own padlock but I can't recall so best to ask. The hotel was conveniently placed for access to the beach, central Pattaya and Bell Travel were able to take me to it from the bus station without any difficulty. The only minus point was I didn't have a balcony but overall it was good value.

It's a very basic hotel with clean sheets, tv, and even the fan room had hot water. Free water was provided. The location is good, not smack in the middle of Pattaya but close enough and close to the Walking Street, the beach, and Central department store. Everything was clean except the walls in the bathroom which hadn't been scrubbed recently and a quick rinse took care of that. The bed was large and firm but not super hard. The room even came with a refrigerator but I didn't plug it in to keep down the noise. There was some music coming in from the music lounge across the street until the middle of the night but considering the location, it's overall a good deal for what you get, especially for the size of the room.

Easy to find, in central, not too far from beach, near big c, nice staff, clean,small hotel not crownded, cheap food for local people around and not far to tourist restaurant.. it's better to rent the motorbike for travel from hotel to the beach area..but it has the tuktuk service at the street as well. It is not for people who love nightlife to stay and connected right to the bar. Only one annoying thing is water too slow.

there are three sawasdee properties in central pattaya, so have a copy of your voucher for the taxi driver--easy to get confused. s-sabai is on a street that doesn't go through, so not much traffic. hotel is basic thai: aircon, tv, simple bathroom, industrial soap/shampoo in little bottles. centrally located. superior rooms have king-size beds and are comfy, but not luxurious. comes with standard breakfast, which i didn't bother with. note this hotel does not have a lift, so you will walk up at least one flight of stairs.

Don’t mind the review scores here, I booked after reading reviews on booking. All the rooms were renovated last year, everything looks new. New paint smell!! Room had balcony with street view and couple of chairs to sit Communication was good using agoda messenger, not many hotels responded to me. 5 minutes walk to the beach. 5 minutes to devils den 10 minutes to walking street 10 minutes to soi 6 1 minute to main road for baht bus Best part about the location is it is very easy to explain to motorbike taxi, you just have to say one word HONEY1 .. right opposite to HONEY1 When you walk towards the main road there’s a restaurant opposite to “overseas calls” looks like dr who London telephone booth where you can get fantastic thai food. Fried rice fried noodles for 50THB Would definitely recommend. Will be staying again and again.

The hotel is really comfortable to stay,nice environment and great view from the window,The room is really spacious,and clean,it has hot shower,also two free drinking water,wifi is stable,too,but no safe box,Staff is friendly,though not very fluent in English,but enough to communicate.the location is far from the beach area,and the public transportation is not good in pattaya,so taking taxi could be expensive,motorbike is cheaper but still way more expensive than the ones in Bangkok.i am surprised that it took us 300 bahnt from the bus station to the hotel,since everything else in pattaya is so cheap,i think the drivers tend to charge foreigners more or i should bargain harder? but if u take the shared taxi,it takes only 10 baht for one person to go to the central road of pattaya,but it is hard to figure out which way the shared taxi is going,since most of them can't speak much English. Generally,considered the price,this hotel is a wonderful choice,it is far from the bar area so really quiet at night,it is good for a stay after a long day sight seeing,but not for the ones who want to party due to the location.

it was the best budget hotels / guesthouses iv'e stayed. the room was a medium size @ 30 m2 !! I was on the first floor with my own balcony . the room was thoroughly cleaned EVERY DAY...... the air con was very quiet and [ NO Music ]... Soi Bua Khao is 30 mtrs from your door step.. the street faces the [ PATTAYA CITY HOSPITAL ] so very good for directions... you will enjoy your stay. A great retreat in Pattaya The newly-opened Double D Boutique Residence is a great place to stay in Pattaya, being centrally located just off Sukhumvit Road and offering an excellent selection of amenities, including a 42-inch flat screen TV, a large wardrobe, a bathroom with a large overhead shower-head along with a secondary one, plus a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave oven, an electric stove plate, a hot water kettle, plates, glasses, cups and a full set of kitchen knives. A small balcony overlooks a 15-metre swimming pool (10 metres for swimming and five metres for children and with a jacuzzi) and an adjacent fitness centre which is fully-equipped with treadmills, exercise bicycles and weights. There is ample parking and security is good, with a locked door to access the room area and which is opened by your room key (using RFID) or by keying in a combination number. The rooms also have a safety deposit box. There is a wardrobe to hang clothes in and ample space, with plenty of power outlets and lighting options. The beds are comfortable, with two pillows, and the surroundings are quiet -- although guests may find locating Double D a little difficult at first: there is a small office with a sign on the left some 200 metres inside the busy soi (Soi Pornprapanimit) that leads to Siam Country Club but the residence itself is located behind this on a small lane. This lane is best accessed by car by turning left towards Pattaya Apartment some 400 metres from Sukhumvit Road and then immediately making a sharp left turn again. Proceed for about 200 metres to reach Double D Boutique Residence.

I had a very late check-in, arriving at 1AM. Security guard was there to greet me and checked me in. He was very cordial and helpful. In fact, all the staff was very friendly and helpful here, which was appreciated. However, the room looked nothing like the photos. Maybe I got the last room checking in so late, but it was quite run down. Other than that, I had a great stay: comfy bed in a very quiet room in a great location, cold AC, nice cable TV, easy to walk to Big C or get public transport to Central Festival (the big mall). I did not try the restaurant but saw some of the food plated up for guests and it looked good, pool was also lovely. Also the internet in the room was a good speed (once I got connected to the one closest to me - they gave me a password originally for one far away, and I had to go back down to the office to get a new password for the other one). Overall a good stay & great value for money, but just not what I expected based on the rating and photos when I booked.
