We cut our stay short at this resort because of Covid restrictions—so that was the first thing that didn't go as planned. While it was a beautiful resort with comfortable bungalows, we weren't expecting it to be so far out in the middle of nowhere. We also were not expecting the pool to be closed, as this was the main reason we'd booked to stay here for a getaway. So that was disappointing to learn and redirected our decisions about staying for our full reservation. A new restriction had just been passed the day before we arrived that the pool would have to be closed, so it was out of everyone's control. The rooms were comfortable but one of our bungalows had gecko poop on the bed spread and sheets, which the staff quickly replaced. We definitely had plenty of geckos crawling around the place. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a quiet getaway away from town, this really is a lovely spot. Maybe just call the resort before departure to make sure you'd have access to the pool if that's one of the reasons for your travel. :)

Oasis in small town”
Chanalai hotel was nice and the service was awesom!, I've been spending two nights(cos my car was broke down on the way to Bangkok). The room was basic, but very comfortable & nice landscape. Not far from Head Seaw town but a bit far from the historical park 20mins drive, but all easily accessible by motorbike (Yes you can rent by the hotel 300/day). Any information you need for your visit to get around a town and the historical park by the hotel. I met the owner(Bell). He can provide you all you need to make your life easier. I have not found a single detail to complain about - the free wifi worked good .Overall, great and worth money I paid for.

Easy with nice view”
Well located, garden villas far enough from road to be quiet and peaceful. Pool is big enough for a couple of strokes. Close enough to Si Satchanalai HP for a good tour.

Great hotel, good value, not so good location”
The stay was good. I like the villas … clean, enough space, contemporary design. Still looks very new. And price is not bad at all. However, they only serve breakfast, and nothing else. It's a pity because they have a good size hall, but there's no food service. Location is also quite far from Sukothai proper, and the tourist destinations that you would normally visit in Sukothai. We also got lost because the GPS pointed us to another location, which was quite far from the actual hotel. Took us a while to look for it in the evening, using the street signs.

Brand new but far from nowhere !!!”
Nice bungalow, brand new resort... But you need your own transportation if you only want to find a place to eat, because the resort is in the middle of the rice field and have no restaurant ... And in the morning you have to wake up early, because if you like something for your breakfast, there is a big chance that people coming before you alredy ate all the food. And if you ask the staff for some additional food they are smiling to you, saying only " Sorry, sorry..."!!!

Surprising comfort in a remote location”
Great place to stay. I was surprised how good it is. The location is remote but the standard of the rooms is excellent. I will definitely stay again. We visit famil in the area so it is great to have a nice place to stay

Nothing near by”
My stay was a little below average. We stayed here during winter time and the water couldn't get hot enough so we took cold showers. Also the AC machine wouldn't blow warm air out no matter how high we set the temperature so the room was very chilly. The resort itself was very clean though.

The owner is very kind. I’ve got the free ride offer to the airport in the morning flight. Breakfast is home made with good quality ingredients. Very impressive! It’s super comfy like you stay at home.
