The Best Hotel ever in the last 5 years holidays”
Chaweng Buri made it my best holiday ever in the last 5 years. The first impression I had was service and hospitality from persons working there. All employees would greet you every time they met you. Another thing is the location of the hotel. As it is located at heart of the most popular Chaweng Beach, it is centre of everywhere. The hotel is 5-min distance to pubs, restaurants or convenient stores. Regarding the style, Chaweng Buri is exotic in that the hotel is designed and decorated with a tropical island style. You will be surprised that one minute behind the hotel’s reception, they bring you to a different world where greens, palm and coconut trees synchronise very well with the sound of the wind and local birds. This atmosphere is second to none for the any hotel in the area. The hotel is the beach-fronted and with wide white sand beach, this enables almost recreational activities. During night time, a famous beach club called ‘ArkBar’ is just 5 mins walk from the hotel beach! I chose to stay in Chaweng Buri Superior Garden Villa. It is well-decorated with Southern Thai style. Chaweng Buri provides excellent facilities in the room. Television and air-condition are given. WiFi are available for free throughout the hotel. It surprised me that WiFi signal is strong enough for you to surf the internet while having a sun-bathing on the beach! The picture attached explains how beautiful the room is. Another is about food. The food price is not expensive compare to the quality and portion of dishes. Pad Thai (Thai Traditional Fried Noodle with King Prawn) is unbeatable and every dish is cooked to order. Vegetable spring roll is another signature dish of Chaweng Buri’s kitchen. This is an incredible taste I never found in any restaurant in Thailand. Breakfast is also well-served with a variety of food. The only concern I had is mosquitos althogh that it is common to Thailand. Apart from that, Chaweng Buri is worth returning for my next holiday!

Chaweng Buri Resort is a great place right in the middle of the happening chaweng beach.Quality of the rooms and service was excellent and suits all types of peole from solo travellers (like me ) to honeymooners and familys with kids as they provide a third bed for no extra charge.Stayed at a garden view delux cottage but very close to the beach and the beach was clean and lovely.The nightlife venues are just a walking distance from the beach itself with great music and food. once you come back to the hotel after hitting the chaweng nightlife its a perfect place to unwind, so far my best stay in samui and would recommend it to everyone..happy holidays

I would recoment chaweng buri resort to anyone. We received avery warm welcom at the reception which made our day as we were exhausted from a long trip. Everyone of the staff memebers and extremly friendly and helpful. Our room was a little building surrounded by tropical plants which made it feel like you were secluded and private yet you are in the midle of chaweng. It location was great as we could either walk a min to be in the centre of chaweng with all its shops and entertaiment on a littlre strowl down the the beach or pool. The pool bar was a great place to have a few fruity tropical drinks in the shade and watch the beautiful scenery. It was a lovely experience to being served with a big smile each time. We ate in two of its restaurants, one was near the beach, however the food might be improved as our food was served cold, but still the service was great. We also eat in the hotels restaurant at the town which was great thai food and lovely serive. You must try the amazing traditional home made gooseberry ice cream it is delicious. Overall fabulous stay would love to return.

chaweng buri was the one thing that made our holiday in samui. the resort is beautifully laid out with lots and lots of luscious greenery + an oasis like pool that overlooks the nicest part of chaweng beach. the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and good at english speaking + the service was remarkable. the bungalows are all you could possibly want for a romantic getaway - the best in samui!! great location, surrounded by lots of good eateries and loads of good bars to have a drink. very recommmended!!

We had a great time in Chaweng Buri Resort in Samui, the deluxe room is excellent very clean very big its very close to the beach and pool and to the main street of Chaweng, the only problem we had is the annoying loud sound of one tropical bird which reside above our room location and in the middle of the night and across the day start to twitter in a very loud sound which woke me and my wife for several nights! Beside that it was great!

This hotel was great. Our bungalow was a stones throw from the beach, opposite the pool. The service was excellent - the staff were really friendly and helpful, food was great (although the coffee at breakfast was pretty ordinary). All in all we were really well looked after and if we were to return to Koh Samui, we'd definitely stay at Chaweng Buri again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. I have been to Koh Samui before and know the area, so I am happy to say that the location of this hotel was perfect, right in the middle of where you need to be, but also having the peace and tranquility you require for sleep. The hotel is great, right on Chaweng beach and the pool area is also very good. Because the bungalow type rooms are surrounded in lush tropical vegetation, the rooms have a tendancy to be frequented more often than not by mosquitos. Now I abslutely cannot abide mosquitos but the loveliness of the hotel overshadowed this intrusion. Overall I was very happy with the hotel.

Festive Enchantment”
My girlfriend and I spent two weeks at the Chaweng Buri - over Christmas and New year. Our stay was very comfortable and memorable. Breakfasts were good with plenty choice and constantly refreshed.The Room was cleaned efficiently though not entirely thoroughly. We enjoyed the Christmas and New year Dinners and the Hotel Management made a real effort to make the occasions special.The Lucky Draw was a good idea and a good laugh as few Russian Guests understood enough basic English for their room numbers as they were called out. The massage and spa was excellent and the service to sunbathers was good although security measures must prevent non guests from hogging the best sun recliners. All in all it was a great stay and the hotel remains one of my favorites.

I would like, by doing this review, to thank to the staff in Chaweng Buri Resort for their attitude and profesionalism and i reccommend this facility as one of the best where you can spend vacation for a decent amount of money. The beach is one of the best I tried and for sure the best in Samui. The bungalow was OK, cosy and clean, air con. did it's job, toilet / shower clean, safety, basically no issue.

Having travelled around a few of the Thai Islands it was a pleasure to return to Chaweng Buri Resort again. Having been their 12 months previously it was so nice to be remembered by members of the friendly and helpful staff.The breakfasts are fantastic with plenty of choices and variety the whole setting of the resort really sets it apart from others we have stayed at and its nearby shops and restaurants make it a great place for a couple or the entire family to stay.

Luxury accommodation at an affordable price!”
We moved here from the centre of Chaweng after seeing a special offer from Agoda. We took a look at the room on offer - and couldn't believe our luck as we decided straight away to take it - everything just felt right!! The staff were so welcoming and friendly....giving an instant 'feel good' vibe that never went away! I was simply amazed at what we got for our money - genuine luxury that made us feel like VIPS!! I think the location probably puts a lot of people off, being at the north of Chaweng, but we found this ideal for us - so quiet and relaxing. But it was only 5 mins into Chaweng anyway and cheap enough by taxi or tuk-tuk.........not a problem! The hillside complex where we stayed was gorgeous and our room overlooked the lovely pool. Across the road was the other half of the complex and this was even more impressive with a stunning pool, gorgeous gardens and surroundings and that ever impressive beach front location - stunning! We enjoyed many a romantic beach walk at sunset. There really is nothing bad to say about this hotel - nothing! Just be aware of its location - but this was perfect for us. I am still shocked at what we got for our money - everyone loves a bargain and I feel that we definitely got one here and look forward to staying again. Only one note of complaint really, but it's an isolated incident. When we arrived back from Chaweng centre one evening, my Thai girlfriend of over 1 year, was approached by a security guard and they had a brief conversation in Thai. It came to light that he accused me as her customer!! Now I'm all for good security and good hotels need to look after their reputation and guests - I understand this, but this was unbelievable! It wasn't so much the accusation, but the events afterwards. Ok, he made a mistake - it happens sometimes, but my girlfriend who was very upset, received no genuine or sincere apology from either the security guard or the Duty Manager. This was extreme.

Start your Honeymoon at Chaweng Buri”
It was a great way to start the holiday. First time in Thailand Koh Samui and hotel is right in the center of the island buzz with all the shops and restaurants at beach. The room was made up with flowers to give roamntic honeymoon feel and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts each morning. The swimming pool under contruction was a slight set back but when that is finished it will add a great deal to the resort facilities. Will definatley consider going again.

chaweng buri was a wonderful resort that we stumbled across... and never ended up leaving for two weeks! the best resort we've come across in thailand. great value for money, wonderful + sweet staff, fantastic service, great location and most importantly the BEST location in chaweng. situated on the beach (best part) with a nice restaurant at arms reach + bar with good cocktails. very recommended for anyone who wants to get away and be n complete subliminal state!

The hotel consists of spacious bungalows in a garden setting near the beach. The hotel is right in the middle of the Chaweng Beach area, so a walk either left or right of the hotel gives you immediate access to shop, restaurants, massage, etc. There is plenty of variety for everyone. If I were to return to Koh Samui, I would definitely stay there again. Minor criticisms: hot water in the showers, but not in the hand-basin, poor lighting in bathroom, breakfast buffet OK, but seriously depleted after 9 a.m., poor selection of TV channels, kittens wandering around the restaurant.

Holiday for 2weeks ”
This was my 5th time at chaweng buri. The starff are very freindly and welcombing and the room was nice and clean. And the serounds kept clean and tidy. The breakfast was a good selectoin different hot and cold foods and the breakfast cook was always more than happy to cook you up some fresh bacon and eggs or a fresh omlet with a good selectoin of fresk vegies in it. And the the women massages down on the beach are truley lovely freindly thai people and Im looking forward to coming back again next year . I had nothing but a great experience once again thank you to all at chaweng buri for such great memories.

The Chaweng Buri Resort in Samui”
The Chaweng Buri resort is located in Central Chaweng in Koh Samui. The location is actually the hotel's strong point, being perfectly positioned - very close to the main action, whilst being on a great stretch of Chaweng beach. Our room was literally 60 metres from the sand whilst simultaneously being less than 100 metres from the main road which has many restaurants, bars and shops within easy walking distance. The hotel grounds are like a tropical forrest, whith individual villas positioned in lines down to the beach. Despite the proximity to the main road, you are completely removed from it - with no site or sound of the busy resort of Chaweng - the only noise was fronm the fireworks released on the beach - som eof them at anti social hours of the night. The beach is undoubtedly the high light - a long stretch of clean golden sand - ideal for swimming or for just lying in the sun. There are however too many jet skis and they appear poorly regulated, mixing far too closely with swimmers and snorkellers - an accident is far too possible. The water is very clean and the hotel is also located very close to a rocky breakwater and coral reef which has good sea life and is interesting for snorkelling when the coditions are right. Emerging from the hotel onto the main Chaweng beach road, you are immediately in an area of local retarants and shops. There are also some of the international food outlets, such as Hagen Daz, McD's and StarBucks, just minutes away if this is your thing. The Thai food available within 2 minutes of the hotel is very good though and possibly a better option for gettting a taste for Thailand. The main nightlife area of Chaweng is just a five to ten minute walk away - close enough whilst not intruding in any way if you wish to avoid it. The only concern about visiting Samui is expense - compared to the rest of Thailand - and in my opinion far better resort areas, it is way too expensive - this is illustrated by the incredibly high taxi fa
