Amazing place for my holidays”
It was a fantastic experience in my life. Though I wasn't lucky with the weather (was rainy) I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Extremely friendly staff, who provide the highest quality of service. The guys do everything to make you feel like home. Perfect English, always smiling and caring about you. I had a very clean and renovated room with everything you need for an amazing holiday. I really enjoyed quiet aircon working (usually they are very noisy in Thailand lol). My room was cleaned and my bed linen was changed every day. I liked breakfasts, they are very good for this price. Location is perfect, in the heart of Chaweng. Everything is at arm's length: restaurants, shopping malls, markets, massage parlors. If I return to Samui someday I would stay at the City Dance again. And recommend this amazing place to all my friends.

Cheap and cheerful. ”
The Chaweng Beach Hotel is a no frills hotel and is a good spot if you are looking for something clean and cheap in Samui. There is no pool and no restaurant. A small breakfast offered, but I went for brekkie at the cafe down the road instead. The staff was really nice and they spoke English well enough that there was no confusion when checking in/out or when I had questions. The room was big and clean, a bit out dated but for the price totally acceptable. Internet is an extra cost and worked well, it's not the greatest but it's certainly not terrible either. They have a security guard at night as do most of the hotels in in the area. There is a taxi stand right outside of the hotel if you need a ride somewhere or back to the airport. The only thing that I found slightly odd was payment with credit card. I ended up booking another 2 nights there and payed directly to the hotel. They made it seem like the credit card machine was not working, but it was as I insisted on paying by credit card. If they ask you to pay cash, or go to the cash machine across the street.. don't. The machine works. I assume they prefer cash rather than paying the credit card fees. Overall, a great experience!

Great location, lovely staff and rooms”
Great location, across the road from access to Chaweng Beach. We stayed over New Years and had a wonderful time on Koh Samui. Would definitely recommend this hotel - the rooms were clean, spacious, light and comfortable. A really nice escape from the loud, busy, hot streets of Chaweng. Breakfast was provided and the service for this was polite and lovely.

Lovely, friendly hotel in a good location”
A lovely little hotel, with good, clean rooms and very friendly staff. An excellent location across the street from the beach and in a quiet area, yet just a few minutes walk from the nightlife of central Chaweng Beach. Very good value for money and I will happily return here again on my next visit to Koh Samui.

First of all the location is perfect.A 5 minute walk and your in the main bar/restaurant area.You just have to cross the road and walk down an alley way to the beach.You do have to walk through a hotel.Just look like you are a guest, I did and I didn't have any problems.The staff at reception spoke English and i had no problems communicating here.The rooms are large and very clean.Bed was soft and all the linen was clean and changed daily.There is Cable TV and there was a good choice of stations,but no Australian Plus, oh well I wasn't there to watch television.There is a large security box in the room which I like when I am travelling to keep my valuables safe.Toilet shower was large and clean.Chaweng Beach is under the flight path of the airport so its hard to escape where ever you stay but I could hardly hear the planes which was good.The breakfast was great.Egg,sausages,tomato,salad,toast and coffee and juice.Being in the budget range of hotels for value for money you can't get any better,so I highly recommend to you staying in Chaweng Beach Hotel.When I am next in Samui I will be staying here again.

good location and nice people”
I stayed two night in Samui and both stayed at this hotel, it's very close to the beach, only 3 mins walk, walk across the street and go straight, you'll see the sand and the beautiful beach. Me alone stayed in a big clean room with the air conditioner on, lying in bed reviewing the pictures I've taken these days, the feeling was very enjoyable. But I saw ants somewhere, I also saw them in the guesthouse in ChiangMai, not sure if the other hotels also have these tiny ants, apart from this, everything is fine. Breakfat is included in the price but I have to catch the boat and the plane, so two nights stayed I didn't have a time to have breakfast, that's a pity.

Felt like home”
We had a really great stay @ City Dance. Initially, we only booked 1 night but then extended our stay as the service we received was exceptional. The staff were friendly and polite and always greeting and smiling with always someone to assist, 24/7 who went over and above and who made us feel welcomed & at home. The room was surprisingly large, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, about 3 min walk to the beach & many shops & restaurants. Definitely would recommend City Dance for your stay.

Pretty place very close to the beach”
City Dance Hotel looks great. The room was very nice and the hotel itself was also very pretty. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach and main, the busiest part of the city. Still - it's far enough to be quiet in the night. The 7 eleven is just opposite.

We loved staying at the City Dance Hotel and would happily return. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious, too! The hotel is within convenient range of the beach, 7/11 and within walking distance to Central shopping area.

Well located, well maintained small hotel with friendly staff”
This hotel is located on the main road of Chaweng, just a short walk to the beach. It's a small affordable hotel which has been well maintained and is clean. Staff are friendly. Great for a solo traveller or a couple on a budget. There's a restaurant/cafe on the ground floor but the prices are less competitive than nearby venues so I didn't see many people dining there. Guests do receive a 10% discount there (except for breakfast).

One of the best locations in the heart of town”
This hotel is in the perfect location. It's on the edge of the main area of Chaweng Beach, the most popular one on Koh Samui, yet far enough away that you won't hear thumping music from the bars all night. You can easily walk to town AND it's only about 100 meters to the beach. Really, it's the best of both worlds. Rooms were a little drab and breakfast was a little puny, but was good enough to last until lunch time. Internet service here is not good at all. However, on a more positive note, the staff is very helpful and will do anything for you.

Friendly front desk staff”
For 700 baths, I got a big room with a fairly-sized bathroom. The shower had hot water and was built Thai-style (a hose hanging from the wall) but the toilet was further away and protected by a small wall so it didn't get wet after taking a shower which is a plus. There was one window only in the room with a bad vantage point since it faced a wall so there wasn't much light. The free-of-charge safe was big enough that I could fit my 13.3 inches laptop within with no problem at all. The (cable) TV was old-fashioned but worked nicely enough. Overall a good hotel for its price/location, especially on Koh Samui where prices aren't on the cheap side. As a negative side, WIFI was not free and worked only in the lobby and was sometimes down.

Great location near the beach”
Chaweng Regent is the best resort we have ever stayed at!! you could stay in your resort the whole time if you did not want to see anything else of Koh Samui. Loved hanging by the garden pool with the swim up bar and bob marley tunes playing!! I would reccomend this resort to everyone and the deluxe bungalows are beautiful. Just remember to get your breakfast included as it gets expensive if you pay for it every morning!

Solo traveller first time in Koh Samui”
Fitted the bill, cheap, friendly and comfortable with TV and air con. Basic but brilliant. Friends of mine stayed in a luxurious hotel down the road and paid £1200 more for a room 1/3 of the size of mine. We were hardly in the rooms and my price included breakfast if I wanted it. Granted, it was basic, but what more do you want for less than £20 a night? Located at the quieter end of Chaweng Beach (10 mins taxi/moped ride to airport) but still next to restaurants, bars, shops and beach and a short 2-3 min walk into the busier part of town. Great stay (2 weeks) and highly recommended for those who aren't fussed about having all the frills n luxury of 5* hotels which you can utilise, ie pool, bar or restaurant.

Great Budget Option in Chaweng”
This is a well run, friendly guesthouse with a good location in a less busy part of Chaweng. In other words not near all the late night party bars etc but lots of great choices of restaurants and bars locally. Beach across the road and through the outlet mall. A nice bar attached to the hotel. The only negative is that the room had very little natural light.

The Chaweng Beach Hotel clean rooms and friendly staff, receptionist. Good Breakfast, good location, 3 minutes walk to the beach. wifi is not free, but i bought sim card for 1000baht for unlimited internet ( i stayed one month in Thailand)
