My experience at City Seasons Al Hamra was positive. The hotel's location in the heart of Abu Dhabi is ideal, offering easy access to shopping malls, supermarkets, and other attractions. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional service provided by your staff. At the reception, I was warmly welcomed by Nimeka and Louie, whose attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism immediately made me feel welcome. They responded promptly to all my requests and did everything possible to ensure my comfort. I would also like to express my gratitude to the housekeeping staff—Manakumar and Bisrat—for their diligence, hard work, and attention to detail. The concierge team, including Ayaz, Jaber, Amjad Ali, Sudarshan, and Yousaf, also proved to be highly responsive and attentive. Despite the high standard of service, I had an issue at the management level, specifically addressed to the Director of Operations, Mr. Samer Rafi. It pertained to access to the VIP Lounge and the professional competence of a front desk employee named Lean, as well as the responses from reception staff over the phone. After I published my review regarding this matter, the hotel management contacted me with an official apology. While no demonstration of systemic changes was offered, it is worth noting that the level of service provided to me personally was immediately and significantly enhanced. This indicates the hotel's ability to deliver high-quality service when guest feedback receives the appropriate attention. Objectively, I would like to note that this was not my first stay at City Seasons Al Hamra. As mentioned in my previous reviews, the service level had always been high, which is why I was particularly surprised to encounter such an atypical response to my inquiry. Thank you for the quality service (as of now), and I wish the hotel continued adherence to the high standards of hospitality characteristic of the entire City Seasons hotel chain. To the Team at City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel, Abu Dhabi Overall, my experience at City Seasons Al Hamra was positive. The hotel's location in the heart of Abu Dhabi is ideal, with easy access to shopping malls, supermarkets, and other attractions. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional level of service provided by your staff. At the reception, I was warmly welcomed by Nimeka, whose attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism immediately made me feel welcome. He responded promptly to my requests and did everything possible to ensure my comfort. I would also like to express my gratitude to the housekeeping staff — Manakumar and Bisrat — for their diligence, hard work, and attention to detail. The concierge team, particularly Ajiaz and Jaber, also proved to be very responsive and attentive. Despite the high level of service, I have a concern at the management level, specifically addressed to the Director of Operations, Mr. Samer Rafi. It pertains to access to the VIP Lounge and the professional competence of a front desk employee named Lean. My stay at the hotel was booked from August 31 to October 1, meaning it spanned over a month. Given the extended duration of my stay, I expected additional privileges, such as access to the VIP Lounge. Unfortunately, apart from a single visit on September 5 (when I was able to try the coffee), I was denied further access. During a phone conversation with Ms. Lean, who oversees the VIP Lounge, I directly asked about the requirements for obtaining access but did not receive a clear answer. Communication with the reception staff by phone on another day also did not provide clarity — I was simply told to "come back tomorrow" and was ultimately denied once again. The concierge team, including Ayaz, Jaber, Amjad Ali, Sudarshan, and Yousaf, also proved to be highly responsive and attentive. Despite the high standard of service, I had an issue at the management level, specifically addressed to the Director of Operations, Mr. Samer Rafi. It pertained to access to the VIP Lounge and the professional competence of a front desk employee named Lean, as well as the responses from reception staff over the phone. After I published my review regarding this matter, the hotel management contacted me with an official apology. While no demonstration of systemic changes was offered, it is worth noting that the level of service provided to me personally was immediately and significantly enhanced. This indicates the hotel's ability to deliver high-quality service when guest feedback receives the appropriate attention. Objectively, I would like to note that this was not my first stay at City Seasons Al Hamra. As mentioned in my previous reviews, the service level had always been high, which is why I was particularly surprised to encounter such an atypical response to my inquiry. Thank you for the quality service (as of now), and I wish the hotel continued adherence to the high standards of hospitality characteristic of the entire City Seasons hotel chain.
