"We stayed for 03 nights in Golden Tulip, everything was good and we didn't have any complaints. WIFI was not working, but that was not priority to us. Staff are very nice and courteous, they assist you everytime. Cleanliness is very good and you feel refreshed when you enter the room. Rooms are very spacious and big. We stayed in a family room, it was big and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but could have been more options, like pasta, sapgheti. Overall our stay was comfortable and we would surely love to stay here, if we come back to Belitung "

"Book this hotel for my parents in law and their friends from overseas. Couples in their 60s with one of their adult child. Pretty much the only decent hotel in Belitung. We used to stay here when it was Aston back then. If you look for a good location to do the island hopping, this hotel is nearer to the spot. Beside the hotel, finding food nearby would be a challenge except in the hotel. However, given Belitung is not so big, doing to city centre is just half hour by car. You need a local gudie tho to take you around."

"The rooms are comfortable, the interior is Instagramable, the food is ok, the staff is friendly. We arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time. We waited at the cafe and they provided us with a welcome drink (ginger ice, so refreshing). While waiting they offer if we want to play board games, like; card, monopoly, chess, and ludo. The room service is quite weird We ask to borrow plates and cutlery. They said they would charge a fee of Rp 50,000/set. It's even more expensive than food on their menu. Then, we decided to buy food (french fries) at a cheaper price than charging fees and getting plates and cluttery. Ha! But overall this hotel is good and we will stay here again if we visit Belitung, also recommend to our friends and colleagues."

"Grand Hatika Hotel is located in a very good location in Belitung. It's located just across of Tanjung Pandan beach, which is very lively and has beautiful sunset view. It is also only 20 minute walk away from the centre of the city, or only 2 minutes by Ojek. There are quite a lot of foods and Warung in Tanjung Pandan beach, which are very convenient. I am overall very happy with Grand Hatika. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV has HBO and sports channels. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My parents who were supposed to stay with me had an emergency and they were very helpful in helping them locate and contact nearest Garuda Indonesia office. They have a small but beautiful swimming pool, and has a Mandiri ATM in the hotel area. The room that I was in also has very big and comfortable bed. Although I didn't get a chance to try it, but they were renting bicycles for 3 USD a day (12 hours), which was a steal. One area that can be improved is WiFi. It is very slow and in my room it was very weak. I had an iPad, an iPhone, and a laptop. None of them can connect to the WiFi reliably. In the lobby, the WiFi is stronger, but it's still pretty weak. If you're a business traveller, you might want to get a better internet plan. But even using XL many of the areas in the hotel and surrounding areas are still 2G only. I would definitely come back to stay at Grand Hatika when I visit Belitung again. I hope they will grow and improve in the future."

"Nice stay, the room is not that small, it fits one more extra bed. The location is in the city,no where near beach (a good one, i mean), but it makes it easier to find food and shops at night because trust me, belitung is kinda desolate. Food are okay, not exceptional but edible for sure. Overall, comparing the price and what i get, i am pretty satisfied."
