"We stayed over the New Year holiday and enjoyed a fabulous experience with all the local people as Lotus Beach Lodge is off the tourist path. If you wish to enjoy real Filipino customs and foods then a trip to Calubian is the place to go. The people are friendly and the hospitality of all those you encounter both at Lotus Beach and in Calubian cannot be found in the tourist locations. Please be advised that there is no restaurant at Lotus Beach so the rating for food should not count."
