Hanoi hotels & accommodations

My experience with Lotte Hotel Hanoi has been nothing short of perfect ever since I made the decision to book a room. Everyone at the hotel seems to go out of their way to make your special occasion even better. As soon as I got to the hotel I was blown away by the view. It's one thing to imagine it but it's another thing altogether to get, what is perhaps, the best vi...

Given my first time iN Vietnam, I was worried about the cleanliness of the hotels. So I booked in Sheraton Hanoi for 2 days and then moved around the countries and when decided to fly back to Hanoi I was searching for another 5 star hotel since Sheraton was fully booked on that day and I found few 5 star hotels like Lotte and sofitel but but I found that Hanoi daewoo h...

I'm not a lover of big, impersonal hotels, so it was with some initial trepidation that I booked this hotel for my second visit to this fascinating city. I'm happy to say my fears proved unfounded with all expectations clearly exceeded. The hotel is really centrally located, close to the Old Quarter and really near to the fantastic Hang Gai shopping street...if you're...

The service is exemplary and this is one of the few hotels in Hanoi that I can safely recommend. The staff is geniuinely friendly and helpgul. The breakfast is the best out of the dozen or so hotel I have stayed in Hanoi. The internet is stable and signal is strong. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. A full spread of amenities can be found whether for business ...

we stayed at hotel nikko hanoi for 3 nights. it was a wonderful stay. front counter staffs were friendly and smily. there was a conceige counter manned by experienced japanese staff who speak fluent english, to give advise on what to do, where to eat and what to avoid (independent cabby)in hanoi. we have a spacious room at the 10th floor, facing a circus and lake from ...

There are many hotels listed in Hanoi. If you are on a limited budget or a backpacker, you can choose from hundreds in the old quarter. That's fine if you like no windows or noisy environments. Local knowledge is invaluable and a friend in Hanoi said there was only one area to stay and that is in the embassy areas. Melia offered a great deal on Agoda for a deluxe room....

Probably one of the best if not literally the best Hotel in Hanoi. The staff is absolutely excellent, remembering guests' names, preferences and managing to create a real "empathy" while not being too invasive. The room itself in the "Opera" wing was very comfortable but not outstanding for a 5 star hotel (rooms in the historical wing are much fancier), but the facilit...

I love every details of this Lapis hotel in Hanoi . As that was My last stop in Vietnam trip before finishing off my holiday in where I didn’t expect too much in Hanoi initially. Very pleasant ending trip . Hardware : rooftop swimming pool , Mosaic of the Jacuzzi , even the small thing like the light switch / electric button / toilet / bath room & toiletries et...

It was hard to choose a hotel in Hanoi from Agoda.com, because they all have great reviews and are similar pricing. We ended up choosing Hanoi Elegance - and we were not disappointed. Firstly - Customer service. Just brilliant. After booking on Agoda, i emailed the hotel directly to get recommendations on a Ha Long bay cruise and an airport transfer. I started goin...

Staid in the 2 bedroom suite. Rooms are good sized, kitchen had all the dishes, cutlery, silverware available for use....very clean and very comfortable with beautiful view of the city of Hanoi. Good location and plenty of good restaurants just a few black radius of hotel. Underneath hotel is also a small supermarket so its great if you wanted to buy bread and fruit...

There are a few La Siesta Hotels in Hanoi, we stayed at La Siesta on Ma May street for 3 nights in a Deluxe Double Room. The service started from the minute we were met at the airport and driven to the hotel in the EHG Airport Transfer. The staffs attentiveness and eagerness to ensure you are well informed and taken care of is felt the moment you enter the hotel, from...

The staff is very nice. Swimming pool is inside, hot water, very very good. Even for 5-star hotels in Hanoi, this is the only inside hot water swimming pool. The breakfast is very good. Rice, meats, vegetables, and noodles, fruits. I have live in here for totally 51 days. The location is not good, 5 KM to old city quarter, close to the business area. Not good ...

Family of 4 with 2 children 13 and 11 we booked 2 rooms and they put us on different levels not sure why but we made it work the rooms are very small but nice and clean and comfortable it was our first time in Hanoi so not sure if all hotels are like this We booked this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in Hanoi we could find with a swimming pool . The pool...

This apartment hotel is surprisingly better than its description on agoda which is unusual in Vietnam. It was great for our family, better than most places I have stayed in Vietnam as we had so much space, the location is very convenient, the service was great. The facilities are of 5 star standard. My kids especially love the swimming pool which is very clean, childre...

This hotel is in the center of the old town so perfect for walking around, it has such friendly staff who remember your name.We were warmly greeted on arrival. Our room was decorated for a special occasion we were celebrating. Spacious and comfortable was the bedroom, we were also suitably impressed by the size of the bathroom. The room was very comfortable and quiet wi...

i spent about 2 hours searching online for a hotel, when i saw MK Premier boutique hotel, i got attracted by the rooftop bar and booked it right away. Me and my boyfriend only stayed in hanoi for 2 days cos of our tight schedule. we LOVE MK premier ! the room is super nice and clean and huge. we booked the one with a big balcony just above the street, we enjoy sitting ...

I stayed there two days on a business trip and enjoyed it very much. Spacious rooms fully equipped and very kind (Vietnam!) staff. It is a little off the city area, but for that it is very quiet. And Taxi is also not expensive in Hanoi. Their problem might be that there are so many hotels in Hanoi which have ratings far beyond 8 at much cheaper prices. Still if you are...

Always using this hotel while in Hanoi for biz trips. Far from old-town, but good for my biz purpose. Room may be a bit old, but spacious enough and well-maintained. The best part is their excellent hospitality supported by efficient well trained staff.

The room is new and clean. Quality of bedsheet and towels are very good, as a 4 star hotel should have but considering the money that we paid for, its a bargain. breakfast is at top floor of the hotel with overlooking the whole old quarter. Delicious food, more than enough choices for everyone. Their egg custard worth mentioning as its so soft and creamy. Never tasted ...

I am pleased to say that this return stay to Hanoi Hotel after 2 years has not let me down. Services and staff performance has improved tremendously. Very customer oriented staffs that will go all out to serve and help. The only thing that remained unchanged, unfortunately, is the ageing old rooms that have been there for almost 20 plus years. I think with all the rev...

Dear Bonsella hotel all, Good day. It is my pleasure to be living in Bonsella hotel in Hanoi city. I think this is a very special and great hotel for me where can we living Hanoi city. The newest Somerset in Hanoi and it didn’t fail to impress! Furnishings and kitchen were modern and functional. I loved the cosy living room where we gathered each morning for coffee and at the end of the day for drinks. Bed was comfy and bathroom had all the amenities we needed. Staff all excellent, from Reception to Housekeeping. Always happy to help out with calling...

The Hanoi Club Hotel is located in the North of Hanoi in reasonable distance between the airport and downtown. The room was excellent, great designed, best features the king size bed and the spacy luxory bathroom. also well, wide screen TV, WiFi, AC. The staff is very friendly, competent and supportive. Every question answered satisfctionally. The breakfast is good to ...

This is a lovely new hotel and spa. We stumbled upon it after an aweful experience with another Hanoi Hotel and Hanoi Nostalgia welcomed us with open arms! The room was impeccable and surprisingly quiet considering how noisy the Old Quarter is. The reception staff was helpful and very accommodating, they even stored our luggage while we went on a three day cruise on H...

Easily the best hotel in Hanoi. The service is nothing less than a 5 star. Probably even better. The breakfast is super delicious. Best pho is hanoi is made right in the hotel kitchen!! They have curated a special menu and guests can pick and choose anything and everything feom the list. Its not the usual buffet stuff and that’s what makes it so different. Every staff ...

Located on the shore of the lake, the view from the higher floors are magnificent. Taking a stroll around the lake, you can find restaurants and cafes, although much more sparce and definitely quieter than the bustling streets of the old quarters. The hotel staff are bilingual in several languages, and very professional. Although priced higher than the average hotels...
Cheap places to stay in Hanoi

I was so lucky to have found Little Charm Hanoi Hostel. I almost booked a different hostel, until I stumbled upon this on Agoda! It's one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my 7 months of continuous traveling. The first hostel where beds are made for you daily and towels can be changed daily if you wish. Lots of toilets and shower rooms on every floor so you won't h...

Everyone here's very friendly! They were great hosts and made us believe at home. They helped organize the tour of ours to Halong Bay for a cheap cost when compared with the online booking. Additionally they created some great suggestions for food and we had been pleased. The breakfast was extraordinary with fresh juices and created to order omelets. General, would cer...

This location of this hostel is strategic, near from Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Paulus and the only one mosque in Hanoi. It was very help me, because you can still keep your praying and you can find Halalan food near this mosque.. The staff is awesome and humble. They helped me to booked the Taxi from hostel to Airport...

Chien hostel is my favourite hostel in Hanoi, I stayed here for quite a while whilst waiting to get an apartment here. The rooms are clean, cheap and comfortable, great aircon and every other guest is respectful in the room. The staff are friendly and fantastic, they will help you out with everything from tours to getting some ideas of where go in Hanoi. The free b...

Hadn’t used Agoda since in Australia, thought I’d give it a punt after a very hot and busy room in the VBH two doors down. On offer for $6 AUD a night which is a fantastic deal. Stayed in the ten bed mixed, each bunk has its own privacy curtain, with power points and reading light next to the bed. The room is constantly air conditioned, with two fans to circulate it ro...

This place is a great little find right in the heart of the action in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Get the stay with breakfast options, it's well worth it and cooked to order. Staff is very friendly, but will give you your space if you like. So say hello to them, and they will quickly be amazing friends and advisors for you. Beds are non-squeaky, soft and have plush com...

The Art Trendy Hotel in Hanoi is a true gem in the heart of Hanoi! It was nearly perfect on all criteria important to me as a solo traveler. First off, upon arrival and with each encounter thereafter I was greeted by name by all staff. They made me feel very welcomed and valued as a guest. Second, my room -- listed as a Quiet Deluxe -- was amazing. I did not hear any...

I stayed in a mixed dorm with my partner which was extremely clean. The western staff is Steve gave me all the advice i needed to travel vietnam and booked me my Halong bay tour 2 days and bus ticket to Sapa and even assisted me in buying a motorbike!...They offer free beer from 6-7pm at the lobby ( Jungle Bar ). The staffs is always ready to assist with any questions ...

My second time at Evergreen, and just as good as the first! The staff are so welcoming, speak great English, and do not hassle you to book tours. But rest assured, any question you have will receive a thoughtful, knowledgeable answer. Chatting with other guests, they only had good things to say about the tours they had booked via Evergreen to Halong Bay etc. Thanks to...

I was in Hanoi for two nights and found my stay at the Hanoi Rendevous Hostel to be really comfortable and relaxing in a busy, chaotic city. You get a towel when you check in and coupons for breakfast. The staff was great. They helped me book a trip to Halong Bay and offered to keep my luggage for me while I was away. They also helped me book a train ticket to Hue. ...

First, I need to start with how surprised I am by this place! I booked this with very little expectation & actually stayed here just for a short while before heading out. However, the room’s cleanliness was 👍🏽 I stayed on the 5th floor (no lifts people in case you are carrying heavy luggage- you may want to rethink it). The room had 4 beds (female, shared), it looked...

Daisy hostel is a small hostel in comparison to others in Hanoi, but I think that adds to its charm. The owner, Daisy, goes above and beyond to make sure you have your needs met during your stay. She really took the stress out of my trip to Vietnam, by suggesting places to go, booking transport and extending my visa. She is such a kind and friendly person and makes you...

Location is central in Hanoi Old Quarter, easy access to tourist attractions e.g. Hoam Kiem Lake, St. Joseph's cathedral, Hanoi Opera House, etc. The entrance of the hostel itself is a bar where you get to enjoy good drinks and food in the evening. But due to the crowd it gets noisy at night even after 12am. Overall I would recommend this place for backpackers consider...

Stayed here for 2 nights when we first arrived in Hanoi. Booked a tour through hotel staff to halong bay. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we decided to come back for 4 more nights after our halong bay tour. The staff here is exceptional. They are nice and friendly. Always smile, and give good advice. The room is adequate. Beds are comfortable, bathroom large, clea...

We returned to stay at the Angel Palace after two weeks of enjoying Vietnam north-to-south and then back to Hanoi. There is no better feeling than being whisked through the front door and ushered right to our room after being told by the manager that he'd upgraded us to the studio room. Wow. They probably had seen hundreds of guests in between the two weeks since we ha...

This is a small and cute hotel in Hanoi with super friendly staff. When we arrived it was raining really hard and they came out to our taxi with umbrellas. At the end of our stay, we left the hotel for a tour of Halong Bay. When we got back to Hanoi we had a late flight and time to kill. Even though we were not staying another night with them, they let us leave our bag...

So lovely hostel with Very helpful staff that worked hard to make sure that we were satisfied with our stay.! Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Delicous breakfast. Good place to meet other travellers, close to a lot of the famous attractions in Hanoi.

We had a great stay in Hanoi. The lady is so friendly and helps you with everything. Ask her for the best places to eat and she will give you the best recommendations to try the Vietnamese kitchen. We were also allowed to leave our bags at the hostel while our tour to Sapa. And Ou can also book tours and buses. The location was quite good, you can do the old quarter by...

So it’s dawn this ally next to all the busiest clubs in Hanoi but weirdly a really chill solo traveler sort of place. U can hear the music a little bit but it’s not an issue. The staff are really friendly and will tell u were all the best egg coffee and matcha is. It’s so cheap don’t expect the Ritz, saying that it is a very nice place.

We had multiple hostel booking in our Vietnam trip. We liked everything about this hostel except that they didn't have a locked locker in the rooms. If you are not carrying a lock and key yourself, then your things are actually not safe there. But apart from that, the staffs, the breakfast, the beer party in the evening everything was super cool.

Tam helped us with several options for airport transfer before we arrived and after we left she even helped us book a tour and bus transfer. The breakfast was included and you could choose between scrambled or fried eggs, tea or coffee. The location is very good, very central, walking distance to Ho Hoan Kiem lake. And it is situated right across from the 2nd best Pho ...

Stayed here one night between tours. The hotel I booked was full but was placed in the neighbouring building which was fine. Accommodation simple but clean and spacious and wifi speed was better than previous Hanoi hotel. My room at back of building was quiet despite the road out front being a main tourist area full of bars and restaurants. Found the old quarter to be ...

During a five-day stay at Hotel Brilliant, everything at this hotel is perfect. Like most smaller hotels in Hanoi, especially around the old town, Hotel Brilliant strives to provide the best service. In our opinion, Hotel Brilliant has succeeded in doing so. The location of the hotel is very close to the hustle center of Hoan Kiem lake. The hotel rooms are fully equipp...

We had been recommended this hotel in Hanoi by another couple we'd met on our journey up through Vietnam, and I must say it was a great find! We found check-in and out easy and relaxed as we were asked to sit on the available couches to be given welcome drinks. Our bags were brought to our room and we were shown how to use the wifi/ safe and air-con. The room was very ...

When we're looking for hotels in Hanoi, it's hard for us to believe that most hotels have exceptional ratings until we experience it ourselves. The location and facilities of Tirant hotel are very good, most specially their service. All staff we met are polite, always smiling and ready to serve. We have also been upgraded to a larger room for free and Ms Hanna is very ...

Everything is excellent here. Grand Cititel Hanoi Hotel is located within Old Quarter area, convenience store (Circle K) is just at corner of the street & about 10-15 mins walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. Stayed here with my fiancée in January 2017 for 3 nights and then checked out to go and do a 2 night cruise in Hanlong Bay and then back for one more night in the Hanoi Pearl. I stayed at this hotel in October 2017 whilst travelling around South East Asia. I had originally booked for 3 nights but booked an extra two nights. I admit as the taxi as driving us up to the hotel I wondered what had let myself in for. The hotel is in a very buzzy part of Hanoi near the old quarter. This hotel almost felt out of place in the location as the surroun...

We booked this hotel from the Airport - and were so glad we did!. This small hotel is Excellent! It opened in April 2018 - and everything works in the room, the bathroom is a treat with the latest shower and ablution technology, the breakfast is delicious, all the staff are attentive and helpful. And it is located just on the edge of the Old Centre of Hanoi - so not qu...

One of the best hotels I have stayed in and without a doubt, the best in Hanoi. I travel extensively and have stayed in Hanoi many times over the last few years. The hotel is in a fantastic position, the accommodation and facilities are of high quality and really good value for money. That said, without a doubt, the attention and service levels provided by the staff...

After a slew of bad hotels, my sister and I were so relieved to finally get to a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated in the old quarter of Hanoi. It's not the cheapest, but it's still a good value for your money. We got to the hotel a bit early before our check in, but the lobby held our luggage while we walked around the busy neighborhood. The twin room we had was cle...

This was a perfect stay. The rooms were really nice, clean with a great bed. The staff arranged a cheap upgrade upon our arrival, allowing us to sleep a bit after landing in Hanoi at 6AM. The breakfast was the best we've had in our trip, the location is great, and we've the best english-speaking staff in Vietnam. After coming back from Sapa (2 days after our stay), the...

During the 4 nights stay at Thang Long Opera Hotel, I could experience the excellent support, hospitality and care of the hotel staff. Upon arrival the hotel, the staffs make effort to cross the street to greet us which is out of our expectation. The environment of this hotel was fantastic, clean and new with complete amenities. I have already reviewed this hotel from an earlier stay (see below repeat) but I forgot to mention that they also have a free late model laptop in every room. We have stayed at 5 hotels across Vie...

Located at convenient location. Close to many famous eateries, good sound proofing system in the building. Very relaxing stay! Very friendly helpful staff, clean, comfortable, well equipped, quiet room for a good rest. Lovely gym and small pool with jacuzzi.

Although my husband and I live in Hanoi, we enjoy occasional weekend "Staycations" in the city. What we read about the new hotel on the web interested us, so we enjoyed registered for one night. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt like honored guests. ---The following are a few highlights of our stay. *Stunning panoramic view of the city ...

The Moevenpick Hanoi is a true 5 star hotel in Hanoi. It is in a great location near a lot of great restaurants. The hotel is new and service is great, all staff spoke good english which is very rare in Vietnam. The room rates are generally lower than some of the other newer 5 star hotels in the city, however one thing I noticed is that the standard room rates do no...

this hotel is by far the best of the several we have tried in the old quarter over the past couple years. the location is perfect for wandering around the lake and the surrounding area. i can't say enough about the staff; their friendliness and efforts to please us were amazing. the honeymoon suite on the 7th floor is massive compared to the rooms usually available in ...

I love this place. If your up high enough you get great views of the lake and city. It's spotlessly clean, great comfy bed and amazing breakfast. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Hanoi but this is my favourite. Oh yes and for those who like to keep fit there's a great pool, gym and a spa!

I live in Hanoi and life can get too stressful at times with jampacked streets and crowded public areas so my escape to JW Marriott with my boyfriend was already a luxury. We stayed for a night only, on our first anniversary, (thanks to our demanding jobs) but we both had a great time. We loved French Grill, where we had our anniversary dinner. Man, service was awesome...

i have been in a couple of hotels in hanoi. i did tried this one because of the location - i needed to be close to the west lake. it is actually a serviced appartment residence with nice rooms. what makes this hotel nice is the human size, good service from staffs who were nice and willing to help, the garden that is quiet and where it is nice to take breakfast in th...

I stayed here for 4 nights visiting a friend in Hanoi. The room was really really nice, and quite interesting - not too bland. The location is great - right near the central lake and lots of great places to eat/drink. I think this place has a reputation as one of the best hotels in Hanoi. As soon as I told my friend's mum where I was staying the next thing she said was...

The staff was service orientated. The room is tastefully done, very clean and neat. The housekeeping staff also did a great job. Hotel is near a supermarket, KFC and cafe, so easy to get snacks and drinks. Overall, my experience was a good one. Will recommend and I will also return to this Hotel when i go to Hanoi my next trip.

Our stay at this Sheraton Hanoi Hotel was great. We created immediately upon arrival and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful with fantastic rooms. If we wanted to eat at the hotel there was a wide variety of food to choose from and a wonderful buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

With 65-Floor-Hotel, You can experience supurb viewpoint of Hanoi. Enjoy the aroma of west lake while taking a bath in your room. It will be one of the best moment ever in your life. Also, service was perfect and Evian Spa, Top of Hanoi was EXCEPTIONAL. If you are heading to Hanoi, I strongly recommend this spot for unique, luxurious experience. But keep in mind. Th...

Let me first say that this place is perfect in so many ways.. It was a great escape from the bustle and noise of Hanoi while staying close by, the check in and check out procedure was so smooth and effortless much different than most hotels I've stayed in Vietnam. I absolutely loved the front desk staff every request was dealt with promptly and effectively. I wanted fo...

Beautiful apartment, very clean, good cooking facilities. Internet and Netflix, which was great as there was a storm during our stay! This also meant that the pool was closed due to the weather but it looked lovely! Loads of shops, massage, hair salons in the building complex and good restaurants.

I really like the accommodation. I often visit Vietnam because I like Vietnam, and that is where I visit every time. Since it is close to the Korean Tower, it is geographically good to go to eat something delicious. And the apartment has clean accommodations, and a loud air conditioner. I haven't used it yet, but I think the facilities in the apartment also have a fitn...

Great location with plenty of things to do. It's not that near to the city centre, but if you want to experience something different in Hanoi, this is a great option. It's definitely not the typical image of Hanoi that tourists have, but it's one of the many facets of this beautiful city.

Be very careful when you cross a street either on the zebra crossing or not; if you have a stiff neck, it can be cured by crossing more streets in Hanoi (turning left and right very fast to see the incoming motorbikes).
The traffic patterns are very interesting and unusual. No "road rage". Rules of walking around not strict.
good to visit Hoan Kiem Lake, St.Joseph's Cathedral, Opera House, Ho Chi Minh's Museum, Ho Chi Minh House and Quang Truong Ba Dinh
You should take a Hanoi City Tour Street Food Tour via Impressive Travel Vietnam and for sure after this tour you can be much more understand about Hanoi Culture, history, food, and life styles.
Old lifestyle. A lot of cultural buildings and historical vestiges tourists can visit. Hanoi cuisine is nice and diversified.
There was no untoward incidence during our stay. The bus was quite efficient and cheap. Taxi was plentiful and always charged by the meter.
One of Asia's great cities to hunt for street food, and negotiate the bustling labyrinth of Old Quarter with FOOD on FOOT.
Even though it is a major city, it wasn't too difficult to find your way around, with a map. People are very friendly and it is very clean.
The main highlight is definitely Halong Bay, there is nothing to do in Hanoi, except eat and a few sights to see, tops three nights is definitely sufficient for your stay in Hanoi.
There's a lot of history in Hanoi, and tons to see. Even hitting all the best restaurants will take a couple days.
If you like to see the culture differences and how they would make you pay more money in many ways, please come to vietnam to experience it.
Lot's of shopping over in the old quarters but be prepared to bargain hard. Souvenirs are definitely alot cheaper over at the old quarters than at the airport.
Uber is a great way to get around -- very cheap and you won't get ripped off. Worth buying a sim card just to use it.
Hanoi capital is busy city with crazy traffic have a lot of motorbike, all people are friendly , helpful , nice people.
hanoi is busy city with friendly people, great streets foods, nice to understand the culture with many beautiful place to seeing !
The weather is very cold but it's not convenient to go sight-seeing when it's rainning. There are many activities to do such as visiting Ho Chi Minh Mosoleum, watching water puppet show, shopping at Lotte Department Store, having lunch at Halong Bay and doing kayak is very classic.
The traffic in Old Quarter is insane. All the motorists (both cars and motorcycles) are used to honking as a signal of 'be aware' but a lot of time they are unnecessary.
The more I visit the more I like it. Charming, enchanting; relatively easy to move around either on foot, taxi or bike.
Hanoi is culture rich and generally people though are not English speaking, they are fairly friendly.
Awesome city full of history sightseeing and the best go to the newest shopping mall - Aeon Mall Long Bien
We LOVE Hanoi!!! It's our 2nd time back and we still feel the same as if it was our first time back! Can't say enough about this beautiful city and its people! The food are amazing!!! We love walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and the night market on the weekends.
A very quaint n old school laid back city. Full of charm n culture, food food food everywhere n anywhere.
Spend time just wandering the old quarter as well as the gracious French neighborhood. Great fun to see people playing badminton on the sidewalks, and to sit down for a nice coffee or bowl of noodles.
Hanoiasn people is warmly and kindly. But they almost can not speak English so you will be harder to have a communication with them.
Many people will not stay in Hanoi for more than 2 nights, max. This is a shame. Vietnam is Thailand 32 years ago.
nice and lively area. it can get weird with all the motorbikes, but the people were kind although of course most of them do not speak English.
Very interesting city, wish i had stayed a little bit longer as i didn't get to all the things i wanted to see
Many tourist attraction places to visit especially Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Nha Son Bac Ho (HCM house), One Pillar Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter and many more places which we will come back for round 2 soon.
Hoa Lo Prison was a good place to visit. Very educational and i return with a better understanding of the vietnamese spirit.
You might find Hanoi a little bit stressful at first since the traffic is so crazy and the airport is located quite far from the city and it'll take quite some times to reach the city center.
