"A relatively new hotel in town, Folkloro is a good base if you plan to spend a few days in Kamaishi and explore the vicinity. There's a tourist information centre on the first floor, just outside the main entrance. The next door Sea Plaza and Sun Fish Kamaishi is a good place to stock up on local Kamaishi seafood products and souvenirs. It's a pleasant 15-minute stroll to downtown Kamaishi. A bus stop in front of the hotel takes you to other parts of town to explore scenic spots like the Ohakozaki Cape, Kamaishi Dai-Kannon Temple and Iron and Steel Museum."
