" We were there for 4 days. The place is accessible if you bring a vehicle. We didn't try public transpo but jeeps or tricycles could be hailed 500 meters from the place from 6PM to 4PM. Meals were not part of the booking but when we requested meals a day before, the staff prepared for us very healthy meals. Of course, we don't expect gourmet cuisine since this isn't a hotel. For us who liked fresh vegetables, the meals were a delight. The dried fish (tuyo) they served for breakfast was also pleasantly delicious. The booking we did was for 1 room with a double bed (i.e. a single bed for 2) but when the staff realized we were siblings and preferred to have our separate beds, they readily gave us 2 rooms (w/out extra charge), with the condition that if other guests arrive, we'll revert to the original booking. The suggestions we have for improvement are: 1. Hopefully, they'd add a shower. The current setup in the 2nd floor of the main house (where we stayed) is that the T&B has a faucet and a pail. There is an electric heater for heating the water in the pail. 2. Also, we suggest that the flooring in the dining area be fixed as part of the floor parquet are already detached from the floor. In this way, it would be more pleasant to dine. Later on, we had some of our meals at the veranda where the view is nicer. 3. Finally, we suggest that the rooms have a key. While the house is secure since caretakers are there and trustworthy, it would add more confidence to guests if they can lock their rooms when they go out. We learned that a previous guest forgot to return the room keys. The knobs haven't yet been changed and no extra keys could be lent. Despite all these, our stay was nice because of the exquisite kindness of the caretakers. One evening, one of the guys in charge bought us some local wine so we could have a small get-together by the veranda. Overall, we'll not hesitate to stay at Kiangan Viewpoint again. "
