Where to stay in Kochi
Kochi hotels & accommodations

This Hotel is located in between Kochi JR station and Kochi Castle. There is a food street nearby the hotel. Also, not so far distance to hirome market. The 3 beds room is so spacious and made our stay be very comfortable. We will stay at this hotel on our next trip to Kochi.

Friendly reception staff. Boutique like hotel located just outside of the CBD of Kochi. Kochi is a pretty compact city so location is still pretty convenient and most places would be only a short walk. We drove into Kochi so the free parking is a good perk. The hotel has some bikes for guests to use for free which was great to get around quickly. Rooms are VERY com...

The hotel staff members were excellent and the best part about the stay. Siya (sp?) spoke excellent English and was especially helpful. The tatami room was lovely and the hotel's location near Kochi Castle excellent. The restaurant and coffeeshop were not particularly memorable, however, and the beautiful picture on Agoda makes the hotel look much more picturesque tha...

A bit clumpsy in locating the hotel and needed the assistance of hotel staff to identify the carpark. Some directions in English woild help. Hotel staff very forthcoming. Spacious room and great view of the river. Just a10-minute walk across the river to the centre of the town. Hotel staff very forthcoming. Great value for money.

Quite an old hotel but maintained in amazing condition. It's like going back to early 1970s Japan. Even the couches in the lobby look like they've been there since the place opened and in perfect condition. Staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

I had a great time at the Nikko. It's 10 minutes walk to shopping, 20 minute walk to the Kochi castle. It's in a quiet street. The room is spacious for a single person. It has a nespresso machine, room is cleaned daily and breakfast is so good. All in all, I had a great time at the Nikko.

I left my camera charger at Kochi Hotel and only found out when I was on my way to Oboke. The staff at Kochi Hotel was so thoughtful to arrange courier of my charger to Kotohira, which is my last stop of the trip. The breakfast was good. Location of the hotel is in the city centre. I would recommend this hotel.

Just 4-minute walk to JR Kochi Station. The interior design of the hotel is modest. The room is clean. What really impresses me would be its breakfast. There are four to five types of breakfast, in both Japanese and Western style. One can have a full breakfast at a price as little as ¥200!!!! It comes with eggs, ham, salad, spaghetti, toasts, miso soup and juice/coffee...

We loved it here! The family room was perfect with toys, books, dvds and play space for the kids. We loved the kids toiletries packs and the robes were great for them to pretend play ninja in. The Japanese style breakfast was plentiful with such variety of food every morning and the lovely ladies were very accomodating and attentive to our needs. Our room was spotless...

This hotel is very recommendable for all tourists in Kochi, Japan. Quite near for the sightseeing places in Kochi city, like Kochi castle, Sunday Morning Market and some historical places there. The hotel was renovated few years ago, and the rooms are bit small, but it experienced a good renovation by the several talented artists and designers. The hotel was reborn a...

This is a hotel I keep returning to when I am in Kochi because from my experience over the years it is far better than any other Japanese hotel of its category. It has rooms which are a little wider than usual and are well furnished. There are many small touches to make one's stay enjoyable - wide screen Sony TV whith BS 258 channel with "bilingual" programs, two pillo...

At first, we had hesitation of booking the hotel as it was far away from the JR Kochi Station. However, we could take the tram free with our Shikoku Rail Pass and enjoy a city tour of Kochi on the way. And we could start to visit the Kochi Castle immediately after check-in the hotel.

Just a couple of blocks from the train station. A very nice hotel. WI-FI in all areas of the hotel. I had a tatami room with western low beds. The room came with shower. They have a public furo for those wanting to take a full bath and soaking in hot water. Breakfast was included in my plan. Great selections including made-to-order musubis. Only problem the mus...

I loved their herb hot tub, which I took early in the morning. It was the best way to start a day. There were paper making and weaving classes although I didn't have time to participate. (I wish I could have.) It was about a 40-minute car ride from the central part of the city. Not too far, yet I got to experience country side of the area. The hotel is right along the ...

The guesthouse is near Harimayabashi and many restaurants nearby. Easy to access when you get a tram. I spent two nights there and I had a good sleep. The guesthouse is not big but they have anything you need. If I come to Kochi again, I will live in here.

The hotel is a blend of old and new, with traditional Tatami rooms and onsen in a modern building. Though the lobby is dated, Ryokan Kichiman made up for this in many other ways. The rooms are spacious, and there are plenty of spare futons for those who need a little extra padding. There is green tea, a hot water dispenser, t.v, AC, private bathroom with shower, and a ...

I had read an unfavourable review about this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom, while still small by western standards, was a good size and clean.
