Phatthalung hotels & places to stay

There is not much choice for the hotel in Phatthalung city centre...& this is the only one hotel that is in good condition & near to Phatthalung Train Station (within 5 mins walking distance)...the staffs are friendly & willing to assist us when we have questions...room size is good & in clean conditions...air cond is also working well...worth for money for staying here..

We are a young couple from the UK and due to some travel complications we needed to be near a hospital in Trang. That’s how we heard of Phatthalung. This was clearly the best hotel in the area and we are so glad we ended up staying here. After over a month of travelling around Thailand, this was the first place that we felt was authentic and a real Thai experience. We didn’t see any other tourists and the locals looked surprised to see us! Sai (hotel owner) made us feel at home, she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay and her team helped us rent a care for a few days. You will need a car / motorbike if you stay here as all the attractions are quite far away, or just chill out by their amazing infinity pool and relax. It felt like we were at one with nature the four days we were there. The food was great and they lend out bicycles for free to ride from the old side of the resort (this has the main restaurant) to the new side of the resort (home to the pool, pool bar, breakfast area and cute cafe - this cafe was our fave). We recommend you do the hour sun set boat ride, it was very romantic. We first felt out of place, as we were the only English guests there, but by the end of the trip we didn’t want to leave.

After a very tedious ,tiring journey from Kuala Lumpur to Thale Noi,Phatthalung,we were pleasantly surprised to see such a pretty ,cosy family runned hotel.The cafe downstairs was very tastefully furnished and they served tasty cakes and coffee.Even their thai food was excellent.The rooms and attached bathrooms were beautifully decorated.The 5 person bedroom that we booked came with 2 attached bathrooms!We had a wonderful stay at Le Noi Buri and would highly recommend this place for its location and beautiful set up,Santorini style.

I stayed two (2) nights here on 26-27 December 2016. Based on the price, I'd rate the room at 12/10 and the exterior facilities at 9/10. The guesthouse building has been recently constructed and opened on 1 August 2016 so all the facilities are clean and new. The accommodation was well-designed and had a western feel, which I attributed to Paul being from the UK. The exterior of the premises looks simple but the interior is as comfortable as the Swissotel Nai Lert Park. For what you pay, you receive double in quality. I am sure that these prices will increase when Phatthalung gains popularity. Having stayed in both budget and expensive accommodation I would recommend this place for almost anyone: fussy honeymooners to budget travellers. I stayed in the 600B double room. When I arrived to check the place out Paul's pitch was "It's a nice room". He certainly downplayed it. I thought it was excellent. - The bed and mattress is either on par or better than some 5-star hotels in Asia. - The room design was homely and welcoming. Water and snacks were provided on arrival. - There is a foyer with a small refrigerator, lounge chairs and coffee table. - The bathroom was very large. Hotel bottles of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are provided. Pros: - Just about everything about the facilities was excellent. - Best bed I slept in. - Exceptionally hygienic and clean. - Excellent value. - Excellent management.

The location of the property is far off from any major towns of southern Thai, it is more than 1.5 hours drive to hatyai, Phattalung or Songkhla. However, the location itself is calm, peaceful and it is best to rest, relax and enjoy sunset. The room and its facilities are simple and simple. This is not a 5 Star kind of luxury hotel or resort, but the environment gives you a 5 Star relaxation of mind and soul. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Bicycles (though not in very good condition) are available for free to explore the surroundings. Welcome drink was given to us, which we felt hearty. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much.

If you are looking for peace of mind, this is the right place. The sound of waves lapping at the backyard, birds chirping and the cicadas are the music of the day. This resort is really a good place for relaxation. The owner, Nui is so friendly and warm. Not only she helped to arrange a boat tour for us at Thale Noi Waterfowl Reserve but even arranged transport to take us around Patthalung. She made sure that the driver took us to all the places that we wanted to go. That was a great help as most of the drivers in Patthalung couldn't understand English well. As for the room, it's clean and well equipped. Wi-fi service is excellent. The are more than enough sockets in the room, so no worries about charging few phones and batteries at the same time. Breakfast and dinner prepared by Nui and her staff were superb. We got to enjoy the fresh coconut juice from her backyard. Would definitely recommend this place to those who wants a quiet break.

The owner,Orn treated us like her own family and assisted all our request fast and always with a friendly smile.We were staying here because of the location to Thale Noi. Please don’t miss the boat ride to view sunrise at 5.30AM and you will be mesmerized! Breakfast was great, we requested for toasted bread with butter& jam, local fruits with hot drinks and boy that simple breakfast was delicious and really made our day. She even toasted extra for us 😊.Don’t forget to bring mosquitoes repellent though. You will need it during the boat ride too.

Here is a simple and nice hotel,for who travel to Phatthalung by train big recommend to stay here,very near just walk about 5 minutes from station to hotel. Hotel owner is very nice and helpful,he can speak some English and Chinese.He help us to contact his tuk tuk driver friend,to bring us to Thale noi waterfowl,Lamoam floating market for 3 hours tour. My first time in Phatthalung and will come back and stay here again. Got 2 vegetarian restaurant ,7-11 and mini tesco lotus near by the hotel.

It was just ok. Phatthalung is far off the beaten tourist path, and thus it is hard to get around if you don't speak a lot of Thai. It was a pretty dull stay for me, but there is a Steak House around the corner, with a menu in English and the staff is lovely there! As for the hotel staff, only the young female owner speaks English, and I'm pretty sure she only shows up to check you in. The rest of the time it was her father, who, though was really friendly, pretty much speaks no English at all, so he couldn't be of any help unfortunately. For the price, though, it's about right.
