What a super cool place amidst one of the most quite places of Shimla. Unlike other properties which are surrounded with other properties nearby, this hotel has a private mountain and is located in one of the best places. Cheap places to stay in Shimla
The guesthouse is small but in a cosy. Very good situated just between te main road andere the fantastic lower bazaar and with an amazing view from the roof terras. The contact with the host(owner), was very pleasant and friendly service beyond expextation. It soon felt like home and I decided tot stay another night.
:) the rooms are clean, the quilts are thick, so you're warm at night, even with cold weather outside :( bathrooms are broken and not maintained well. They are not dirty though. Water is hot (between 7p.m and 9a.m) and of good pressure

We went there in a group of 3 families, and enjoyed a lot. It felt almost like a second home. We had 3 rooms in one floor and the central common sitting area served as our living area. The view was beautiful and the staff were very accomodating. Thank you for a great experience.

Shimla is beautiful. Especially the toy train journey from kalka. When you go to kufri, unfortunately it is not well looked after and the locals do not take pride in its appearance.
Shimla is replete in history.The sight and sounds are interesting,the Mall is overrun by tourists who often believe they are the only people in the Mall and has a lot of people with nothing to do but stare.
One must try the toy train from Kalka to Shimla. The city has awesome landscape and mountain views however the roads are bit congested and often are of not good quality.
Viceroy lodge is great. Bird park is rubbish. Gulub jamun is delicious there. Hire a porter if the hills are too much for you and your luggage (only about 50 rupees) taxi is 150 minimum.
