Toyoura hotels & accommodations

The hotel is very modern and located next to the lake. There was a firework at night during our stay too. The hotel room is spacious and come with lake view in every room. The best thing is its onsen, they have outdoor and indoor ones. The outdoor onsen is so breathtaking. The view is unbeatable, very chill and relaxing. However, they should improve their buffet since ...

The sheer size and scale of the hotel is something you don't really get in Japan. Even driving to the hotel you can see from quite far away the hotel perched on top of the mountain overlooking Lake Toya. When you finally arrive, then you get a feel of how big the hotel actually is. We had originally booked Junior ocean view suite, but I think we got upgraded as ...

One of our best all-around hotel stays ever. Not the best time of the year to visit this area because of the weather, but more than made up by gorgeous surroundings, comfortable accommodations and great food. Breakfast and dinner were included and both were gourmet quality at very reasonable rates. We look forward to returning some day during warmer weather. to explor...

We encountered a snowstorm upon arrival in December and the staff was telling us when would be a good time to leave the hotel which made us feel good because they were concerned about our safety. The hotel also provided umbrella for guests so it came in very handy when there was snow or heavy rain. The view in the room was indeed spectacular so I would definitely boo...

I went with a very low expectation as I read some negative reviews. I personally think that they are totally wrong!!! My group consists of 3 families with a total of 13 pax (4 children). We totally enjoyed our stay and want to be back again. The hotel location is very strategic. You can enjoy watching the 3 series of fireworks in just a few steps to e lake or from yo...

This is one of the best hotel we stayed in our trip to hokkaido. We book the Japanese style with half board, it has a very nice view over the lake. Room wasn't big but good enough for our family of 4. after check in, we had a walk in the town and counting ourselves lucky that we got a half board package as the surrounding seems quite with only few restaurants. The out ...

I think the hotel are in the great location for looking lake view, and we went to found first snow of winter season that here so we are very impress. another all the meals, it's great tradition foods look like normal but so amazing taste plus great service of all staffs then every our meals are very happy. Thanks for the best remember of the travel in japan.

The hotel was a distance away (10 mins walk) from the Toyako Onsen bus station, but you can take a Donan bus that stop nearby the hotel. The hotel is very close to the Illumination tunnel and Illumination street. We were able to see the Winter Fireworks up close and it was the best of the 4 fireworks we saw in Hokkaido. The room is very spacious and has a aircon, heate...

The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and convenient stores. The only down point to the stay is our room is located at first floor, which is underground. It defeated my purpose of booking this hotel as the main reason I booked Hotel Grand Toya is to enjoy the lake view and also the fireworks at night. If not for the lake view, I would have rather boo...

Best stay in Hokkaido! Thoroughly enjoyed every part of this hotel - the private Onden in every room, the public Onsen, the service staff (special mention of Take-San who is the F&B service manager). Breakfast spread was great, especially the soup udon with soft boiled egg, and freshly baked croissants. Highly recommended stay for those visiting Lake Toya. Just note ...

The owner of this house is an old lady who can't speak english, we arrived with big luggage and had to wait until dark to check in since the owner was missing, it's wasting our half day time for traveling around the lake. Two technicians existing there helped us to call the owner and offered us their finished-working guest room, which we had to still stay in that room ...

Guest house is very good. Room locate on the second floor of the building but there is no escalator . So you may have a little problem if you bring large luggage. Room is very clean and comfortable . Recommend for group of 6 person. There is no breakfast but there are 7-11 near the guest house. Host is very friendly even though she can’t speak English.
