"From a sign in the room: "Dear Value Customers - Thank you for choosing to stay at JP Emerald Yasothon Hotel. Our management team very proud to take you to the great pleasure in welcoming you to finest luxury hotel in Yasothon Province." It's a wee bit run down, but it probably IS the finest luxury hotel in Yasothon (huge), and very affordable. Staff always went out of their way to be very helpful. Central part of town. There is reportedly no nightlife in Yasothon, save what is next to and inside this hotel. I would be happy to stay there again."

"My stay was good. It is a nice hotel with separate cabins. Very clean and quiet. Problem was finding it. It is 8 kms out of Yasothon and it is set back maybe 500m along a side road. The sign on the main road is only in Thai. If you cannot read Thai then you will not know it is there."

"My second stay for the Yasothon Rocket Festival and this time chose the less expensive option...and so glad I did ! Got to know the owners well, met most of the neighbourhood at the store next door, and was looked after like family. If you want a quiet room out of town a bit, but looking for a true Thai hotel....this is it. And the family ? Super friendly !! Just book. You will not regret !"
