best hotel in daet for the price”

    wifi, clean, quiet

I stay in hotels in Daet A LOT so I know about them there. You get hot water wifi inside of the room and it's a new hotel so everything is new and modern. I seen people writing that it takes an hour to get transportation to the town, 100% not true, just wait in front of the hotel and they will stop, never had to wait more than 5 minutes, and easy going back also. It's a great quiet location. Also seen people complaining about little small things, then should get a more expensive hotel then, you should expect a 5 star hotel for like $10 a night. Again best hotel for the price in Daet, You will find other ones around the same place, but they wont have wifi in the room, hot water and will be on the main super loud super busy main road. Will stay again thanks!

    Pleasant Stay”

The room rates are affordable and there we friendly and accommodating staff.

I would like to kindly suggest to the hotel management to use a silent type generator or move the generator farther away from the rooms. This is because during our stay, there was an almost 12-hour black out, thus they had to use the generator to provide us with electricity but unfortunately, the generator is located near our rooms. Good thing though, we were tired from our 7-hour trip from Laguna and all our other activities we did earlier that day that's why we were able to sleep. But the noise from the generator woke us up in the morning. Also, it is suggested to include a simple map where the hotel can be easily found, because even though we used google maps/waze in locating the area we weren't able to find it. We had been going in circles for almost an hour and the instructions of the front desk of the hotel were not as helpful as it is should be. Or add landmarks in the map or descriptive instructions like "When you arrive at the Daet Area, take the road towards Naga, when you reach Shell Gas Station turn right and then straight ahead, you will find DHouse hotel on your left" or "When you are already in the Daet Proper, please take this road...." or something like that. Lastly, check the water supply, because when my sister was taking a bath, the water suddenly ran out and returned only after more than 30 minutes and this caused us a delay in our schedule for the day. So in summary, move the generator farther from the rooms, check the water supply, and add a simple yet informative map.

value for money, nice hotel to stay in Daet”

we availed the family room for 3 days. i had my wife with 3 kids with me, and the unit is spacious enough for us. the staff are good and everything seems to be fine. parking area is good and seems to be very safe and i appreciate it much. they have free wifi, but we cannot connect (no ip address available). maybe they are not changing the password ever since, so the neighborhoods might be using their wifi all the time.. i suggest that they change/reset the wifi password at least once a month. for food, they sell breakfast meals and some snacks. there are also some carinderia and sari-sari stores nearby when you go outside the gate. there's also a nearby resort (pineapple island resort). if you have a car, i think this is the best hotel for you while staying in Daet..

    Good option”

1.) It has excellent value for money. I was expecting a dump for this price, but it was very tidy. 2.) It was quiet, always a luxury in the Phils 3.) Clean and tidy.

For the price of a backpackers hostel, you get your own room, a very decent bed, and an acceptable ensuite. Perhaps if the price were double or triple, I would agree with some of the other comments, but the hotel needs to be judged fairly against its rating. To find a restful, clean, and cheap place is unusual. But it's not perfect. The pillows are indeed hard (but not a problem for me), the bed was not overly long (but longer than a 5'10" dude), there are NO eating or supply options nearby, and it is a little out of town. However, a 20 Peso/10 minute tricycle ride will take you into the centre of the city where all those facilities are abundant. Oh, the shower head looked like it housed a heater, but none of the settings seemed to work, so I was stuck with a cold shower. But in 30 degree ambient temperatures, that was not a problem for me. I would go back.

If you are looking for a no frills accommodation to sleep and take a shower in Daet, I would recommend the place. Parking space is available and room is pretty decent. Its a bit far from city center but not a problem if you have a available transportation. I would return here the next time I visit Daet.

Fair price. Cleanliness and polite and courteous staff.

The family's stay was excellent and exciting although the location is bit far from the town proper. The advantage though on the other hand was that we were near to our mother's house which was about half kilometer from the hotel. The hotel's environment is clean and tidy and the staff are polite and courteous.

Its was Good, Great Value for Money”

Nothing fancy but this is a great place to stay in. Its decent, clean and the staff are very accommodating. Just do not expect too much (as if you're staying in Shangrila or Manila Hotel). Its just a place to sleep/rest, there's no restaurant to feed you, no fridge, no cabinets. Worth it for the price. Location wise, we have our own private transportation so it was easy for us to go anywhere we want (will be worried if its just a commute).

    DHouse”

Value for Money - DHouse definitely is way cheaper compared with all the available options. To think the building seems to be new and secured parking. Location - Unfortunately the hotel is quiet far from the center and the rest (not an issue from my end since I brought a car but I dont use it going around due to parking is mostly not available in centro or side streets of Daet is not safe). Cleanliness/Facility - Bedsheets are full of stain (not sure due to bleach issue). We found fake eyelash stuck in the bathroom rug and floor has red ants crawling. Parking - this is what I paid and convinced me to book as I feel its secured Wifi - 2x we asked for access and twice we were given a password that doesnt work and prompted with access denied. Staff - Definitely commendable behaviour

    A Good Experience”

Quiet surroundings, Attentive & Helpful Staff', & Reasonable rate

My six nights at the hotel was a good experience. Even the hotel has some distance from downtown Daet yet the helpful staff secured for me a reliable and friendly motorcycle driver to help commute to and fro my seminar. The quiet surroundings enable me to rest well. Since I just want a room for the night the simple amenities of the hotel such as the cable tv suffice. However, to make the guest more comfortable additional amenities such as more bathroom supplies, e.g. soap, face towel, and the like should be provided. On the whole, the hotel can stand more improvements in its services. It was indeed a good experience.

    Value good, but some irritations”

I got this on an agoda deal at around 650 pesos a night, and for that price it was a good deal. People paying full price might want to consider the following: The hotel is a couple of km out of town. Not a big problem as tricycles are everywhere and cheap. However, there is nothing around the hotel at all. The only food option is a calinderia opposite, which is generally full of tricycle drivers, who can be a little intimidating. The hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant, although it will serve beer, soft drinks and chips, and you can order food in. Wifi was up and down. Sometimes fast, but sometimes non-existent. I'm guessing they have a 4G modem, which doesn't work when it rains. The lock on my room was broken, and didn't lock properly. I pointed this out to the staff, but they just shrugged. However I handed them a bag of my valuables when leaving for the night, and they were happy to look after it.

    Can’t complain”

For the price we paid, we couldn’t complain. There was hot water, cable TV, free parking. The sheets and towels had a funky smell though. I think they didn’t dry properly. There was a typhoon when we went, plus one washing machine broke. So the staff was furiously doing the laundry themselves. It said a lot about their dedication to provide clean sheets, etc. I just hope the hotel compensated them properly.

    SATISFACTORY/REASONABLE FOR IT'S PRICE”

All the stuffs that you need such as the TV remote and blanket are not available, you need to ask them instead. Toiletries are not included so you must bring your own. There's only 1 towel available in the room to share if you are couple. No hot & cold shower though it looks like, but I guess it's really not working. No bidet. A/C is literally very manual to operate, no remote control but working. The building has 2 floors and it looks like an apartment style or studio type which is reasonable for its price. Thumbs up for the spacious parking area, would be better if it's a covered parking lot. So what you see is quite what you get. :)

    Value for Money Hotel”

Value for money, Quiet neighborhood, Safe parking and courteous staff

I believe that this hotel show a lot of potential for development. It is located in a quiet neighborhood which is very good for sleep deprived travelers. It is definitely a value for money hotel. Hotel rooms are very basic but clean. The following are needs improvement - 1) no food or dining being served or offered / a small cafeteria would be nice 2) doors are not well built for safety and privacy / safe looking door knobs and double lock please 3) water heater is not working properly / you don't want being burned in the morning, right? I am not recommending this hotel to my friends looking for hotel quality comfort and amenities. However, if my friends need a very basic accommodation and value for money - I think this hotel is worth recommending. I feel that this hotel is still overrated at 2-star but shows a lot of potential for development.
