“Smooth Experience”
The Grand PA hotel is a good experience for the family or business traveler who wants to maintain a budget. If you are looking for a luxury experience or even partial luxury experience, this isn't the place for you. At one point the hotel was probably very good, but after years of use and neglect, its more of an older budget experience hotel now. A lot of Amenities were not available such as the Pool Bar as a big one. The king suite room with spa doesn't have a spa at all, its just a simple bathtub big enough for one person. The room itself is very large, maybe even to big for what it provides inside the room. The Pool outside was nice, but not cleaned recently so didn't want to swim in it. Fitness area was average for equipment, but again, not very clean or well maintained. Restaurant and Cafe were average quality at best. I ordered a chicken kapow which was okay but to much garlic. I also ordered French fries which were undercooked so I didn't end up eating them. Only decent thing I had was the oreo milkshake. Prices in the restaurant and Cafe were decently ranged from a bit expensive to inexpensive depending on what you ordered. Parking was ample as it wasn't very busy the night I stayed. Overall the experience was average, but to note, the staff were very nice and did an excellent job getting me to my room quickly. English speakers were available to make communication easier. I would book here again, but probably a smaller room as booking a suite or penthouse is not worth the price to experience.
