Quiet, Convenient to Hoi An Center and Price is ok”
We have enjoyed our time in Hoi An, staying at Grass Hotel. This is s rather upscale mini-hotel. Though small and oddly decorated (swiming pool too small and unattractive, balcony is connected to one of the next room), it is clean, convenient for visiting old quarter and quiet. Staff is nice and helpful. Good quality for price. Good for a small group tour as well (we can see tour bus passing-by regularly). Good for people like running around Hoi An and just need a nice, quiet place for rest, but too small for a leisure place.

Good service, okay location”
The hotel is about a twenty minute walk from the downtown area, and they offer a free shuttle at regular intervals during the day and also free bicycle rentals. We expected it to be a little closer to the beach, but it turned out to be a few kilometers from it. The room was nice, clean and spacious, and the balcony was nice although the glass and wooden doors didn't close very tightly and there was a surprising amount of noise throughout the night because the hotel is on a main road and cars and bikes would drive by quickly. The hotel advertised a pool, which is more of a large dark fish pond sans fish that sits under a roof between reception and the breakfast patio. The staff were very friendly. When we needed to mail a package home, they called the post office workers and they came to our hotel to save us from getting a taxi there. And when we checked out and our taxi was ready to pull out, the receptionist ran out with a few free waters to send us off. Nice folks.

Decent hotel for price but a little out of town. They do offer transport in but must visit their tailor shop for obligatory sell first. However, maybe this is common in Hoi Ann. Being out of town meant away from floods though.

Value For Money And Staff”
This was the best hotel I stayed during my 2 months in Vietnam. The staff were the most attentive, friendly and professional I came across. Breakfast was fantastic along with the large pool and pretty little garden. The rooms are a bit dated and the hotel a bit far from beach and old town but I fell in love with the place. Going back next year!

the hotel was nice and the rooms were comfortable. the balcony had a nice view. the free bicycles are a plus to go to the ancient city that is only 10 minutes away. be sure that you tell the bus driver that you want to go to this hotel to avoid a long walk or a taxi from the final bus stop in hoi an, the hotel is a t the city entrance

I did not like the Grassland hotel and spent only one night there. The receptionist was not really polite and cheated me. I booked a tour and all the others on the same tour payed less than me. Further I had no hot water and no blanket sheets were provided. The Grassland was the worst but the most expensive hotel during my Vietnam trip...

I stayed here for 2 night. At first location is ok. because it only takes 16min by walk. the way to go hoian ancient is so easy. just follow keep straight. thats all. staffs are soso kind. I was alone and they try to talk me. and nice swimming pool. can relax. fully recommend. its valuable price. thank you

really enjoyed our stay, lovely big room with excellent wifi. Swimming pool is great too. Easy walk to ancient town but cheap taxi too if too hot. Lots of good eateries nearby but hotel breakfast wasn't good. Food not covered and hot food cold. Are at bakery nearby of in town instead. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has very noisy rooms to the street, doors to the balkony could not really be closed, so that it was sleeping as with an open window. Unfortunately the hotel staff wasnt really helpful in solving the problem. Also the hotel staff spoke fairly good english, they were trying to sell us bus trips and train tickets, which would earn them commissions, etc...Other than that we paid a cheap price, the facilities were very modern, and we could easily overcome the decentral location by foot or moto for rent.

Lovely rooms, rude staff ”
Lovely rooms and a nice garden and small indoor swimming pool. however the breakfast buffet wasn't very good and the staff we're really rude. Also the prices they quote for bus trips etc were around $10 more expensive then booking somewhere in town. Although the location is a bit out of town, they have a free shuttle before 6pm to and from the hotel which is excellent.

No fitness centre. ”
One of the main reasons i booked this hotel was because you said it had a fitness centre. When i got there i then realised it didn't have one. Your website was very misleading and needs to be updated. Overall the hotel was cheap and cheerful. Staff were awesome. Breakfast was very very average. Location was good. $2 taxi driver to the main town.

Nice Place!”
We booked a room for 4 people, but ended up being 6 People who had to stay there. The staff was so nice and helpful and let us all stay in one room. The Place was 2 km from City center, but there was free bikes we could borrow! Best recomendations from us!

Grassland hotel in Hoi An”
We had reserved a deluxe room with terrace, but this was so noisy, especially in the early morning that I requested to be moved to a regular room in the back. There is nothing charming about this hotel but the rooms are quiet comfortable. TV has no international channels.

rooms are nice but noisy”
our room was a good size and had a balcony, the only problem was the door to the balcony wouldn't shut so the noise from the busy road kept us awake for most of the night. The staff all seemed friendly and breakfast was very good.

Worst hotel We have ever stayed in”
Prior to checking in I contacted the hotel from Hue to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the bus station. Our room was a dark dirty dingy cockroach infested room that really spoilt our whole visit to Hoi An. Over priced hotel with extremely rude staff. We were really glad to have left that miserable place. Terrible service and a feeling of being ripped off. I can write a whole lot more on just about everything in that hotel.

buffet breakfast is over expectation and free bicycle is really helpful for daily visit in town. There is free internet but slow enough to test your patience.
