Cela fait plusieurs années que nous séjournons au Hai Yen à Hoi An et nous sommes toujours aussi satisfait. La piscine en extérieur est un plus et le petit déjeuner est très varié et copieux. L'équipe en cuisine, service et à la réception est exceptionnelle. Toujours à notre écoute et la propreté est irréprochable. Nous remarquons que c'est le même personnel depuis des années, ce qui explique l'excellente ambiance générale. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir l'année 2019.

Best Yet”
We have been travelling SE Asia for 7 weeks, and Hai Yen Hotel is easily the best place we have stayed. The room was large, and it was cleaned every day. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and we got complementary water in our room each day as well. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We cannot understand why this hotel only rates 6.8, as it easily compares with other hotels that rate 8+.

Nice hotel, a bit old but friendly and helpful staff”
We booked for 2 nights but decided to stay for one more night. The staff is efficient, friendly and really helpful. A receptionist speaks french. The hotel is not brand new, the facilities are old but it stays good value for the price. It's possible to rent bicycles to ride around Hoi An, which is a nice activity. We haven't tried the pool but seemed to be good and clean. Nice location, pretty close to city center and some restaurants I recommend

Comfortable Hotel, Friendly Staff”
Although a little dated and in need of a facelift the Hai Yen Hotel had very friendly staff who were always eager to oblige by providing advice and services. There is a good swimming pool which provides a great relax area. Next door there are cycle and scooter hire facilities.

A great value for money accomodation.”
Hotel was reasonably clean and within walking distance from the tourist site at Hoi An ancient town. Food is easily available the moment you walk out from the hotel irrespective if you turn right or left. A map is provided by the staff to help you get around.

Good location, good rooms”
had a pleasent stay, there is a bicycle rental next door which makes all the good things within a very easy reach. 10mins to the east is the beach, 10 mins to the west and you are in tailor heaven, along the river with the market and all the restaurants. i'd say its lacking a bar, or atleast an easy option for buying a beer late at night. also saw a couple of big rats running along the pol at night, doesn't really bother me(its asia afterall), but if your squeamish about that sort of thing, you may want to pay a bit more for your hotel. the best thing though, its in hoi-an - and hoi-an is awesome!

Great stay”
Highly recommended, good breakfast buffet served with a smile. All staff went about their duties with a smile and always willing to assist if needed. Good location a short walk from the old city with a range of restaurants at all price points in close proximity. Our pick would be to walk towards the beach to the Pham Nga Lao intersection where you will find a group of restaurants and bars that are reasonably priced and serve great food. The pool is large enough for the customers and has plenty of sun lounges and pool towels.

staff very helpful for visits to local attractions”
The hotel is composed of various pieces added at different times. We arrived at 4.30 am and were welcomed all the same. One room dampish but we asked for an exchange. Breakfast was not included but the kitchen will serve food and drinks at any time. A family run hotel with many of them who can speak English very well.

Nice hotel next to ancient town”
We have no complaints about this hotel, everything was fine: pool, staff, cleanliness. Is very close to the old town, you can just walk there.. very helpful staff. Just the room is very small and the toilet is not that great, it have a glass door and some ornaments on it so you can see everything the other person is doing inside the bathroom. We had the superior balcony one, dont know if the others rooms are the same.

Not the closet to the beach but easy enough to get to, hotel happily supply bicycles to rent for the day for a cheap rate and motorbikes are easy to find to rent !! Swimming pool is clean and nice to relax by in the hotel garden. All in all a nice place.

Middle class hotel at a convenient location”
We got rooms on the 7th floor and I enjoyed the night view of the eastern and southern parts of the town. The hotel is facilitated with a restaurant, cocktail lounge, massage, etc.

Clean and big room”
We arrival here 1200hr cannot check in due to room not ready and check in time is 1400hr, so we just leave our baggage here and out for lunch. Room was clean and air con is good. Swimming pool is nice, you can use tower provided near swimming pool. We booking room with breakfast, but I think DO NOT pat for breakfast here. We have only 1 pan cake, break and bacon, orange juice and a few of fruits = 100kVND that worth money. Go out for local food is better. but overall is ok. Love and will go back again, Thanks

Only compliments to express. The place is not far from the historical center but also not too close, so that you will not experience the crowded place and the noisy traffic. Very clean, good value for money, I appreciated the fruit plate offered for people who stay two nights. Powerful wifi. Nice staff; one of them even speaks French.

The staff is very helpful. Location is a few minutes walking distance from the beautiful Walking Street district and a 10 minute bicycle ride to the beach. Beautiful paddy fields abound! The pool is fantastic with all day sun.

Easy to park the car in front. Excelent hot water and a bath tub for the kids. Not a huge breakfast selection but adequate.
