          “Very good exceeding the price”

This hotel is very good beyond my expectation. I booked this hotel due to low price & good location next to haruna lake. Eventhough it looked so old but everywhere was clean. The staff checked us in quiet efficiently. And the breakfast here was surprising ly delicious. I m really regreted not to book dinner altogether , it should be delicious too. Recommend for everyone to go. Ps: I can’t contact hotel before arrival both via agoda and email but no problem when check in.

          “Excellent”

The fireworks and illuminations on the lake were incredibly beautiful, beyond what I could imagine during the day. I was worried because the venue was far away, but they provided a shuttle bus to take me there. The staff was also very kind.

“The accommodation has a very nice view.”

It is a place with few reviews. Before going, I was a bit worried about whether we would be able to stay there. Once we arrived (this time I drove there myself, but it seems there is also a bus service), the accommodation looks quite ordinary. The front desk sells local goods. The place has 4 floors but there is an elevator for use. The room is very spacious; three people can sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The bed is Japanese-style, and the large window in the room offers a beautiful view of Lake Haruna. I think it would be even more beautiful during the autumn foliage. This time I booked dinner and breakfast as well. Dinner seemed to feature local food; the grilled fish was very delicious, and there were various options. Breakfast was a buffet, but since I woke up late, there was not much left, and I didn't refill. However, it wasn't bad. Most guests are elderly Japanese people coming here to relax because there is an onsen (hot spring) available for soaking. In the guest rooms, there are only regular showers and sinks. If you want to take a bath, you need to go to the shared bathing area. There is a large onsen open all night. Overall, it is considered worth the value.

          “Far and dated but okay”

Mt Haruna is a must visit if you are a fan of Initial D manga. This Onsen Hotel's facility is a bit dated. Each Japanese styled room doesn't come with a shower or bath, so you will need to go to the common bathroom (Onsen) to have your bath. The rooms although a bit dated but they are tip top in terms of cleanliness. I would recommend them still. Nice view out to Lake Haruna.

          “On the quiet mountain.”

The hotel mainly focuses on natural hot springs located on a quiet mountain, with no restaurants in the surrounding area, so guests need to bring food or eat at the hotel. There is a lot of Japanese-style breakfast available. The hotel mainly serves elderly guests and features an old onsen.
