More about Hayamakan

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. All rooms come with a private hot-spring bath and free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby area. A free shuttle is available from JR Kaminoyama Onsen Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Both Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding or Western-style rooms with beds are available. Each room comes with a flat-screen satellite TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests. Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop and free parking is available. Guests can listen to the piano and relax at the lounge, which overlooks the garden. Luggage storage is offered at the front desk. Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Meals are offered at the private dining room. Hayamakan Ryokan is a 5-minute drive from Kaminoyama Castle and a 15-minute drive from Zao Country Club. Zao Ropeways are a 30-minute drive away.

One of the Onsen Ryokans in Japan”

Very beautiful property. Warm and welcoming staff, very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is delicious, mix of Japanese and western. Dinner is extraordinary, very satisfying. Room is huge and clean with private onsen and foot bath. Will visit again!

90手前の祖母も大満足の宿”

祖母と母を連れて旅行に来ました。 周辺の宿は何度も利用している祖母ですが、 圧倒的に内装やサービス、お食事が良かったと滞在中ずっとご機嫌でした。 山形の食材をふんだんに使用したお食事を少しずついただくことができ、90手前の祖母も8割型完食(山形牛のすき焼きとうどんがお気に入りだったそうです)。 チェックインからチェックアウトまで、スタッフの皆様にも細やかにお気遣いいただきとても快適な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。本当にありがとうございました！
