"We had a lovely stay at Citi Hotel in Hilongos. My husband and I stayed in the Casa Sangkaan Room and his two sons (21 and 19) stayed in the twin room, Casa Familia Handugan. Both rooms were extremely well presented and far exceeded my expectations. The showers had sufficient pressure and hot water. They also have a restaurant on the ground floor and offer a wide selection of meals. Each evening after returning from a day out exploring, we would be asked what time we would like breakfast served and they offered up fresh fruit, fried rice, bacon, frankfurts/hotdogs and omelettes. The breakfast is extra however is reasonably priced and will set you up for your day out. Every member of staff spoke and understood English well and we had no problems other than at checkout when I tried to pay by card. After attempting with two different cards, the card reader kept saying that I needed to contact the card's issuing bank. Luckily I had the money on me to settle our bill but this had me really concerned that our cards had been blocked...... I withdrew funds later that day when we arrived in Cebu therefore luckily it was just their machine and not our bank cards. So I would bear this in mind to have the cash rather than rely on their card machine. Overall a good hotel and we would stay again if in the area."
