location, location, location”
We did not expect much, because the room rate was so low, but the guesthouse is located right at Chaweng beach. We were quite impressed though. It does not feel like a cheap Guesthouse at all. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. We arrived by car and there is plenty of parking space and that in the middle of busy Chaweng beach. The Guesthouse is set back from the main road about 100 meters, making it very nice and quiet at night. It is not a holiday resort for families I would say, but great for business travelers, young couples, etc. Definitely worth what we paid for.

Very friendly staff, great location”
we loved our stay at holiday guesthouse & wish we'd spent a few more days there. it seemed like it might be kind of far from everything as its on the other side of the lake but it turned out be only a few minutes walk to the beach, walking street, lots of bars/restaurants. the rooms were very comfortable and clean & the staff very friendly & helpful. we had breakfast waiting on a platter outside our door each morning & it was a great way to have breakie. i would highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to everything but get a nice quiet night's sleep.

Great hotel service”
holiday guesthouse was in a quiet street but close to all nightlife on chewing beach which was only a few minutes drive on a scooter. the staff were very friendly and helpful thorought our five night stay. 7/11 was only fifty meter away and also tesco lotus which was very convenient. i would recommend this hotel for someone who needs a cheap and comfortable stay near chewang beach

Absolutely awesome”
Absolutely amazing hotel. You pay little to nothing and you have everything you need. Great swimming pool, clean rooms, nice flatscreen tv with many channels. The atmosphere, people and staff are absolutely friendly and down to earth. I had a stomach ache, "Marco" gave me medicine straight away. Staff here look after you and fulfill all requests if needed. The bar, wow, everything is soooo cheap and the food is just amazing. They use fresh pasta and cook with love. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone. I know it's far from main town and party locations, but I had much more fun and relaxation here than any hotel in Thailand. I love this place. 10/10 For the price you pay for the rooms and restaurant, you really get your money's worth. Don't be like me by being sceptical about the location and price, this place is a amazing. Good luck travels, hope you have the same experience as me. 😎👍😉🤙🤯

This guesthouse is a gem. Large clean room, friendly staff, cheap price and comes with breakfast. Good location. It is far enough away from the actions, so it is quiet but you can still walk to everywhere. Great value.

Friendly service and good location”
the staff was really friendly and offered to change our room to one with double bed instead of twin bed. the room had everything necessary, including a toaster for bread. we were surprised to find out that the "breakfast included" meant that every morning at 8.00 am. they brought a breakfast basket behind our door. the basket included bread, butter, jam, two different cereal, milk, juice, and two bananas. the hotel is located in quite peaceful spot in otherwise crowded area. nevertheless chaweng is very touristy and there are bars everywhere. the beach is very close to the hotel (less than 5 minutes by motorbike), but it doesn't compare to those in phuket and krabi. the hotel staff was very helpful when we needed to find our way around in samui.

Very basic hotel at a nice location”
the hotel left us with two-fold feelings: on one hand, rooms are clean and nice, location is very good (close to all action but quite at the same time), owner is a nice person, etc. the problem is it is not equipped to deal wit any sort of emergency-like situations: internet ap went down first day of our stay, it never got fixed even if promised (so no wi-fi in the room even while promised); when the whole samui electricity problem started, it seems everyone else switched to gas based generators, except us - so no lights, no a/c and no water for whole 4 days or so (imagine that!) the point is it is a nice hotel at affordable price - while things run smoothly - just don't expect anything to be fixed promptly, should it break... oh, there was also no safe in the room (or elsewhere) - which we were aware of - but still it would be easier to recommend it, should they have them

The Holiday Guesthouse was very clean. Our room had a kettle and toaster. the rooms were large and the air conditioning was great. There was a night club near by, so it was kind of loud at night. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and there is a great night walking market about 2 blocks away.

Comfortable and inexpensive hotel”
The room is big, clean and comfortable. There is no restaurant in the hotel so breakfast is left the door on the morning. It consists of milk, bread, cornflakes and bananas. There are toaster and teapot in the room for making toasts and tea/coffee. Managers of the hotel are nice and polite. I think it's a rather good hotel for low price.

Big, nice but basic room. Great location at great price if you want to be in Chaweng. Beach, nightlife and everything else within walking distance, but a scooter is the way to go in Samui.

I loved this place so much I stayed for an extra 11 night! It's very small staffed and they are friend. Tik the manager took time to show me some of her music and always offered advice on things to do and where to go. It is a bit more expensive than some guesthouses but they clean your room daily and bring you water. There is a a toaster and water boiler in the room as well which was a big plus for me. I love this place and if I am ever in Chaweng again I will stay here!

You get what you pay for / Good located, friendly staff”
Kleines Guesthouse, liegt sehr zentral am Soi Raegge Zum Strand sind es um die 500m. Zu viel darf man nicht erwarten, aber wenn man um die 15-17 € die Nacht zahlt, dann passt es schon. Nichts für Frühschläfer, anliegende Etablissments sind auf jeden Fall bis 1-3h morgens relativ laut. Da wir aber selbst auch jeden Tag voll waren, war das kein großes Problem. Staff ist freundlich. Alles easy going. Für ein paar Tage lässt es sich hier aushalten. Gibt aber bestimmt auch Alternativen zu ähnlichen Preisen, die evtl etwas ruhiger gelegen sind, falls man es braucht. Ansonsten ist die Lage schon gut, sehr zentral. ..... Small Guesthouse, is very centrally located on Soi Raegge The beach is about 500m. You can not expect too much, but if you pay around 15-17 € the night, then it fits. Nothing for early risers, adjoining establishments are in any case until 1-3 o'clock in the morning relatively loud. But since we were drunk every day, that was not a big problem. Staff is friendly. Everything is easy going. It can stand here for a few days. But there are certainly alternatives to similar prices, which may be a bit quieter, if you need it. Otherwise, the location is good, very central.

Staff in guesthouse speek very good english, nice and helpfull people. Rooms clean and have a view to mountains and to the road. Not very load. It depends on neiborours.

Pleasantly surprised”
Was a bit sceptical in the beginning when arriving but for the price could not get better. The staff were very helpful , laundry is cheap and the rooms were cleaned every day . Would recommend to stay here just take a room away from the street if you are a light sleeper, because there are bars just outside the hotel.
