If you are coming from the Taichung airport, you can take bus 115 and you alight near Chengong Rd and it is a 3-5minutes walk. In addition, it is a 5minutes walk to Taichung Train station and Gancheng bus terminal(bus to Sun Moon Lake, Puli, Cingjing etc) The hotel staff was really quick and I managed to check in in 1-2minutes. One thing to take note of is the that dorm is mixed dorm and the bed can be quite close to each other. Hence, if you do not like that, then mixed dorm may not suit you.

Room was a little noisy, mainly due to the humidifier, but little street noise. Separate floor-level shower cubicles and toilets, never had to queue. My friend and I took some time locating the hostel from the bus stop we stopped at (you can take the BRT buses practically for free for up to 10 kilometers), but the staff we called was very friendly and patient in explaining the directions. Location is rather quiet though, which is a plus, and there is a "communal area" in the hostel lobby where backpackers can eat and mingle. There is a laptop that one can use, and a small kitchen if you would like to cook or refrigerate things. We had the two bed private room with shared bathroom, and it was very spacious and simple. There was also a clothes rack for us to hang our clothes, and slippers are provided for you to change into once you enter the hostel. Very clean and comfortable place. Should you need to do laundry, there are also two washing machines with detergent provided, and it costs NTD20 per wash (pretty affordable). You can also hang your laundry in the roof area outside - there is one that is shaded, while the other one is not. Toilets/showers are all at level one, and hair dryers are also available. Females get more privacy too because access to the female dormitories are by card access. As for attractions, the nearest landmark would be Tunghai University, where you can enjoy a stroll or even jog. If you venture further, you can take a taxi to GaoMei Wetlands to catch the sunset, and then perhaps FengChia Night Market on the way back, or TungHai Night Market if you prefer one nearer the hostel. Overall quite a nice and comfortable stay, and I would definitely consider this hostel again if I am ever in the area again in future.

The location is quite hidden in a residential area which makes it quite homey. Around 10 - 15 minutes walk to the town area (near Feng Chia night market) where you can find the night market, food stalls or nice restaurants serving local cuisine which are not overrated. Important to take note of it especially if you are visiting during winter.

This was the main issue I faced cos I didn't have other numbers to call.

Honestly loved this hotel very much! Very nice and very clean!! The only disadvantage is its location. Although it is right next to Fengjia night market, tourists must consider the 30-45 mins travelling distance from Taichung main station, where you will be travelling to most frequently (at least for me). For example, you will have to stop by here if you’re coming from or going to Taipei via High Speed Rail train and you can either take a cab/taxi at around TWD235 or take public transports (mostly buses in Taichung) along with all your luggages. Besides, I also had to stop by at Taichung main station in order to take the Nantou bus to Qingjing Farm. So, if I were to travel to Taichung one day again, I would definitely choose to stay somewhere near Taichung main station whereby I can save time and save money. It would be much more convenient.

The hotel is very much like a student residence, with a young atmosphere. It's very new, the room is simple and a bit small but clean and equipped with a relatively big fridge and big wardrobe. There's a little balcony. y room on the 5th floor was bright and had a nice city view, even from the bathroom. Just a little pity the bathroom does not have a separated shower area, and as a result it's wet all the time after taking a shower. Another shortcoming is that there is no desk, which makes it complicated if one wants to work on his computer. I would have preferred they put a big desk in the room instead a big wardrobe.

The hospitality is considered very clean, comfortable and convenience as which is just right beside the crowded fengjia night market. The living area is one of the most interesting part that allows us to meet with new friends. Prior to this trip, I was so hesitant to make a booking in a hostel due to couple of bad experiences I had staying at a hostel. But due to alot of outstanding reviews and comments about this hostel, I have made a risks of booking and I have never been resentful about that decision. The place was so pleasant, clean and peaceful. it is located at the west district of taichung where a lot of good cafes and places sprawled. I also love the fact that it is near bus station. I love that the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is squeaky clean. You will not feel like your are sharing comfort room with others as there are good number of cubicles (both bathroom and comfort room). I also love their free breakfast. I will surely stay here should I return to Taichung.

It was so good that you don't need to do any annoying document thing and just head in your room very easy, and you won't lose the key because all you need to know is the code. Location was awesome. It nears the nite food market but it is not noisy. Only one thing that I don't like was the smell in the room. It was like the smell from the washroom, and it disappeared after you turn on the air-con like 30 minutes. But anyway I will still stay again cox it was really really convenience!!!
