Decent lodging and okay staff”
Only booked here because every other hotel was booked up the first weekend in November. They offer a shuttle only to the train station at 0900/0930/1000 and only from the train station 1515/1615/1715/1815. No other times and they aren’t guaranteed. Said you could take a taxi, but front desk staff said no taxis are available at any point during the day or night. Room was okayish cleaning wise, bed semi-hard (normal for Japan), shower is outside (!), toilet inside, public onset isn’t great, and one staff member was rude and impatient. It’s about a 23 minute walk to town so wouldn’t recommend staying here based on all of this.
Outskirts of the city”
I really enjoyed the large, clean room with mountain views from the balcony that even had an onsen built in. Breakfast was very good. Plus shuttle service to bring you back to the train stations in the morning.
Hotel location and rooms are great but bathroom system is totally horrible. ”
Hotel rooms size and location is great but bathroom system is totally horrible. You have to take shower in open air. It's bathroom system is a disaster for girls and women. Hotel management stupidly designed this bathroom style.
1 night stay in Nikko”
Hotel and it's location is very good but I don't like it's open air bathroom system. It's very much horrible for travellers. Specifically for girls and women. Moreover just for 1 hour late checkout @ 11.00am they heavy charged me.
駅から少し離れている”
近くにバス停があるが、駅までのバスは少ない。歩くのが好きな人は部屋に1人が入れる温泉バスはよかった。
