Satisfactory budget hotel”
We used it for a family trip, which was our first trip in a long time and we are not very familiar with traveling. Our children are 5 and 10 years old. The staff were very polite and kind in explaining things to us. There were many elderly Japanese staff members, and it seemed that there were many young foreign staff members. Everyone was doing their job diligently, even if they were a bit reserved. When we arrived, the welcome drink and popcorn service in the lobby made the children very happy. There was also a free private bath and karaoke, and the children were very excited about the karaoke. We sang in the Japanese-style room next to the dining room, which was not soundproof, but we didn't mind. The entire hotel is old, but the baths seemed to have been renovated and were clean. The outdoor bath was great. The children loved it and stayed in it for a long time. The baths are separated by gender and change daily, so one of them requires going down the stairs, and to get to the outdoor bath, you have to cross a drum bridge, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with concerns about their legs. The meals had a hot pot on the table and were served buffet-style with meat, vegetables, sashimi, etc. There weren't many options, but I think most people, except for those who are very particular about food, would be satisfied. There seemed to be a wide variety of drinks. Overall, we were satisfied. It was nice that Edo Wonderland and World Square were nearby. There was only one elevator, so depending on the time, it was sometimes difficult to catch it. When we couldn't wait and used the stairs, we noticed that the area around the unused stairs was a bit dusty and it bothered us. The children said they want to go again, so when we visit Kinugawa again, we would like to stay here. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Best hotel at best price.”
I spent 1 night, with dinner and breakfast included. They gave us some drinks, soup and snacks when we arrived. The dinner was excellent, with varieties of foods. The hotpot soup was perfect. There was softcream and many drinks, including alcohol drinks. The room was very clan. The staffs were very nice. They gave me private onsen slot. The onsen was nice, water was not too hot. I really enjoyed here. I hope I will stay again.
Amazing, but you will need some Japanese”
This is a really beautiful place and I had a lovely experience. The evening and morning meals and the baths were easy to enjoy. The location is a little tricky, but once you find it you'll be happy to be away from the crowds in a secluded place. However, if you're a non-Japanese speaker you will struggle a lot. The staff is not very welcoming if you don't speak it at all. I speak Japanese but I'm still studying so from time to time I struggled to understand and they became legitimately cross with me. Even going so far as to hit the counter in frustration during check in. It made check in and anytime I had to use the desk a challenging experience. That said if you're comfortable with Japanese, don't over look this place. It's beautiful and the food and bath is wonderful.
Love it”
Sufficient tatami room. All necessities are provided. You dont need to bring toiletries as they have ample Onsen- again, you dont have to bring anything as all is provided. Towels and toiletries. Just go with your yukata and the basket you have in your room Food for dinner woow yummy. You cook your own soup on your table. They provide the broth. Yummy broth. Lol. Then all else is buffet type. Large variety Breakast is buffet as well Overall, very much recommended
