It may not be suitable for those seeking modernity or a new feel, but if you want to stay cheaply and conveniently near Yamagata Station, I recommend it. The rooms are not too small, and if you need to work on your PC for business use, it's manageable without any issues. However, there is only one power outlet at the desk and no USB ports. The toilet also does not have a washlet. Additionally, the refrigerator is not very effective in cooling, and there is no way to adjust it, so drinks do not get very cold. Unfortunately, I had to give up on having ice-cold beer. Even ice might melt if put in the freezer... The front staff members seem to be family members, giving off an at-home kind of vibe, though I'm not entirely sure. Breakfast was included and served in a small Japanese-style room near the front desk. Perhaps due to a health-conscious approach, the seasoning was a bit on the lighter side, which may vary according to personal taste. However, the portion size was substantial, and I was personally satisfied. The building and facilities are generally older, and the service is not particularly refined, but it is by no means unsanitary or uncomfortable.
