It was my second time at COSI Samui and i really like the whole concept of the COSI Hotels. Of course you cannot expect Seaview or a nice breakfast buffet. The location of COSI is perfect hidden behind Central Festival, access to beach is easy by walking. Reception is open 24hours, so if you need to book a Taxi, Check in late or need anything else, they're super fri...
I stayed for 5 days. hotel is new 3 months old,Nice pool ,good breakfast .You need to ask from reception for hot water boiler you are not getting coffe as the rest of hotel complimentary but water yes. I had on my first day a small problem with one of the reception lady due to luck of English but that was solved. I forgot my phone in the room I realised it after check...
Pool good Reception very helpful when at 2am have to take girlfriend to hospital with bad fever . Breakfast staff very good at job and speak nice every day. Booked extra days at this hotel
the samui hotel was excellent and was in a brilliant location. the hotel is a 5 minute walk to chaweng beach and in close range of the shops, bars and restaurants. the room was modern, fresh and clean with a really comfortble bed. our room was spacious and plenty of ammenities. the hotel has a lovely pool and gym. cannot comment on the food as we didnt eat in the r...
Beautiful new hotel in Samui. Hotel rooms are fitted with everything a traveller needs and the shower in the bathroom is a standout. Days are hot and humid in Samui so the spectacular pool and beach access help pass the daylight hours. Only a few minutes walk to the main shopping hub, restaurants and nightlife. Great food and cocktails at poolside bar so you don't need...
Pros - new, very clean rooms and bathrooms - great location in the middle of Chaweng - nice swimming pool and lovely beach - great if you are looking to party with a group of friends - hotel manager ( a lovely girl )reception staff and cleaners very helpfull and friendly Cons - very loud in the evenings - people are partying in the rooms and hotel staff doesnt do an...
Saumui's Kanda Buri Resort and Spa is one of the best hotels along the Chaweng Beach strip. Although at the very northern tip of the strip, and not in the middle of the action, it is still well located, on the quiet end of the beach. The hotel rooms are out of this world, and all have views. The hotel is divided into two portions - beachside and across the street is an...
We chose to stay here because it was a nice hotel with a pool an v close to the beach, but close to Bangkok hospital samui where I was doin my medical student elective placement. The location, if you're looking for a holiday is a little bit out of the way of local night life, but those tuktuktaxis will take you anywhere along the strip for 50baht so it's not too bad. ...
We really enjoyed our stay at Mercure. We normally wouldn't have spent $60+ USD per night, but accommodations just seemed to be more expensive in Samui and the price was worth it given the quality of the hotel. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't included in the booking and it cost ~420 THB for both of us. The selection is fairly wide, with both North American and Thai cho...
4 nights stayed with another 2 booked when we return to samui in a few days time, quick checkin, room was clean and comfortable, internal aircon system working well, remarkablky clean rooftop pool, housekeeping delivers to a high standard, friendly efficient reception staff, perfect location, 5th stay here when to-ing and fro-ing from Samui. Checkout the huge new shop...
Ploen is located very close to the main road but far enough for the noise not to be a problem. The room is not big but the furniture is so properly managed that it feels spacious. It is also very clean, kind of new, and with pantry including sink, dishes, cuttlery and a microwave. It is very close to the beach, however the public access is like 5 minutes walking. If ...
This was my second time staying at the hotel and it was even better than the first time. Staff were just too great. They tried to give us a hand as possible as they could. Location is good for the one who can't ride motorbike like us and for the party animal like us as well. Everything was great except for one, this time wi-fi at the hotel wasn't working and that made ...
Nice and quiet, yet close (walking distance) to everything noisy, including the beach. Nice BIG clean rooms. Extended our first night for 4 more days there. My first comment actually in 10 years time in Agoda living and traveling asia. Was ripped off in previous Samui hotel with worst treatment that I've seen anywhere in Asia (wrong room type, wrong bed etc) so Lotus d...
We ended up extending out stay as we loved it there. Lovely pool, cheap food meals eg burger chips and drink under £3. Staff were very pleasant - can even rent a scooter there for less than £4 a day. When we come back to koh samui we will most likely return!
Stayed in many hotels in Koh samui and this one is by far the best among the 3 star hotels. Comfortable bed, very clean room, and an amazing roof bar. 23$ for a double room is a great deal.. Unluckily, the hotel was booked out and I had to stay in other hotels of the same price category, not even comparable with Cheeky Monkey.. So highly recomended.
I've stayed at the Chaweng Budget Hotel now a few times during my many years of visiting Koh Samui. I've shopped around for various other hotels over the years, but I always seem to find myself wanting to come back to the Chaweng Budget Hotel. For one thing, the hotel is in a good location. South Chaweng is, to my mind, the best part of Chaweng Beach. You get away fro...
Wanted to book a cheapish hotel for a couple of days in Chaweng to go diving. Chose this based on the price. It was clean and quiet and just what we needed. The manager was also very friendly and helpful with lots of tips on what to do and where to go for the rest of our Koh Samui hotel. He even organised an early takeaway breakfast for us to take diving, as breakf...
Stayed here after an unfortunate stomach virus had me admitted to Bangkok Hospital Samui. Upon discharge we walked down the road to this hotel- all I wanted was a clean, safe place to get a good nights rest- thats exactly what we found!! Did not use the pool however it looked very nice. Bathroom clean, sheets white and clean. Would stay here again! ( Under different...
I love this hotel. I love the service. breakfast is great. service immaculate. Paul the manager should be the mayor of Samui. They bend over backwards for you and are always pleasant. Rooms are very clean a great bargain for a true 3.5 star hotel in Samui. Compared to other 3 star rated hotels this hotel is far better than the current rating system. I will neve...
My friends and me had a great time in Koh Samui. The island is beautiful and there's plenty of fun stuff to do. But what made our time in Samui even more special was our stay at The Samui Beach Residence. The hotel is located close to the beach and yet comfortably far (700 mts to 1km) from the noisy nightlife Samui has to offer. The Hotel owners Mr. Pascal and Mrs. Che...
I booked 2 days and ended up staying for 5 in early April. The rooms are big with balconies, I was upstairs. Good wifi and right on the beach. The place is really quiet given that is right in Chaweng. The beach chairs are nice and the staff is friendly. It's inexpensive and pretty basic but they do give you free water, shampoo, body wash and coffee in the room. I...
The price is cheap. You will never get this price with cozy accomodation in Chaweng area. Walking distance to ark bar resort for night life. Just cross the road for the beach. Opposite samui outlet village. Easy access to anywhere. Olympic size pool, new hotel, modern shower head, good at cleanliness, big aircond and what else? Would stay at this hotel again.
The Chaweng Beach Hotel is a no frills hotel and is a good spot if you are looking for something clean and cheap in Samui. There is no pool and no restaurant. A small breakfast offered, but I went for brekkie at the cafe down the road instead. The staff was really nice and they spoke English well enough that there was no confusion when checking in/out or when I had que...
Hotel very good . Room was very comfortable , cozy , bed was very comfortable, has small balcony ( dry swimming suits ) Have good lobby with sofas and 2 computers , flowers etc. Reseption girls speak very well in English , they were very kind and helpful . Hotel has sensor lift . Room , lobby always Fresh and good smell .Breakfast buffet was also good ( juice , fruit...
Maybe the outside ihasnot alot of atmosphere but the room is great. The shower is big/fabulous and can get Very very hot. Separate toilet. The bed kingsize very good not hard...the other bed ( single) also good. So you have an kingbed and a singlebed at the room. Lots of towels all kind of sizes, even there are 2 large towels for the poobeds or beach ( Blue Lagoon ). I...
I enjoyed my stay at Go Samui Hotel. The location was good and staff were awesome.I mainly used the room at night for sleeping otherwise I was out on the Island all day. There was no dining area, which was ok I went down the road for Breakfast. Swimming pool was good for relaxing in when not at the beach. I will return to Go Samui Hotel for my future visits.
Stayed at bhundhari for 2 days after checking out from another hotel. Had a beach front private pool villa which was outstanding. Very well maintained by the staff. Memories worth remwmbering from the time we got the pick up from another hotel to bhundhari. Location: At chaweng.. Not even 5mins drive to the main chaweng area. Big Buddha is also 5 mins drive from the re...
i stayed at a 4 and 5 star resort on the same holiday in samui. although boutique resorts are great , to look at the op bungalow i think i will stay there next time.. you still get great service, everything is cheaper. no taxis to get to and from anywhere. the rooms ( bungalows) are great,.. bungalows are better than any high rise wih a spa. as long as you dont need ro...
We booked here for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 more nights paid through the hotel. Small hotel with spacious bungalow style rooms with lots of light and nicely gardened areas around rooms. Rooms sit off the road so nice and quiet at night. Pool was nice with shade and sun options for lounging and a few tabled areas for sitting and eating. Staff was friendly and a...
For tailor, go to Moda Milan International Suits and see Rooney (nicest guy you'll meet). The shop is around five minutes walk towards Chaweng shopping precinct (Burger King etc.) on the left hand side of the road. Down that same side street, you will find internet cafe (1BHT/min) who are also able to do tour bookings - see Chicken (English translation for his real na...
