The hotel room itself was very similar to the likes of Premier Inn within the United Kingdom, basic, well maintained and clean! The room can not be faulted, air conditioning worked very well, shower was good and has an in-room safe! The only slight downside of this accommodation is there are no sun loungers by the pool, however the hotel is walking distance to Chewang Beach where you can sit on a sun lounger free of charge as long as you purchase a drink from the beach club! COSI rooftop pool provided a brilliant setting to watch the sunset at nights! I would recommend the hotel to anyone heading to Koh Samui due to the great value for money this provides!

Friendly staff, convenient location, good breakfast with both Western and Thai food. The only issue (and its not with the property itself) is that there is a club that plays heavy bass dance music until the early morning. Ear plugs don't really help because of the low tones. If you have trouble sleeping with outside noise, Chaweng is probably not the Koh Samui city to stay. It is definitely more of the party town.

We stayed at the Samui beach 7 days we booked a deluxe pool access room, our first impression the room was not worth what we paid it was very basic and did not look like the photos, having said this it was clean and there were mosquitoes in the room we bought fly spray and fixed the problem. The bed was hard and so were the pillows, every night morning the power would cut in and out for 5-10 minutes not sure if happened in every room or just ours. The pool was amazing swim up bar was great staff were very friendly, it's right on Chaweng beach and all water sports were right out front on the beach, there are plenty of restaurants around and it's a 20 minute walk to the centre of Chaweng we used to walk up the beach as cooler than the street. Breakfast was very average not much choice at buffet you could get fried or scrambled eggs cooked to order. Some mornings there was not hot buffet but you could get great omelettes cooked to order.

this hotel was much better than the previous hotel we stayed at in koh samui the chaweng beachcomber (which virtually ruined our vacation) and was half the price! it's brand new and very nicely designed. the room had a very comfortable bed (the beds in thailand were all very hard - even at the expensive resort we stayed at - these were super-soft with really soft pillows as well), with clean showers that had excellent water pressure. i would definitely have preferred to stay at this hotel the previous weekend - would have paid less and enjoyed the stay more. while it's located on the other side of chaweng road - so it's not on the beach - i'd definitely have forgone the convenience of being located on the beach for a more comfortable and cleaner place. the staff was very accommodating - and allowed a very late checkout as we flew back that evening.

it a great stay at Ozo for the group of 6 of us and we are paying for 3 star hotel but experience the 5 star services. the check in process may time consuming but overall the services provided is good with a smiling faces from the staff. the room is clean and the bed is super comfortable where all of us refuse to wake up on every morning.. the pool is great too with the sight of beach where just located next to the swimming pool with easy accessible from Ozo.. and Ozo do provide lot of the sun beds along the beach where u may spend ur whole day at there.. we definitely will stay in Ozo again for our next trip to Koh Samui~

We stayed at the end of the low season. The room was fantastic. The staff met us at the lobby and we were offered a cold towel and a nice drink before being shown our room. If you are in the deluxe rooms you are set off from the beach by the main road in Koh Samui. It's no more than a minute's walk to the front of the hotel and the beach. The pools are excellent. In general, getting around in Koh Samui is a trial, so make sure you stay close to the attractions that brought you to the island. If it's a great beach that is close, but not too close, to the party scene, North Chaweng is the way to go.

The next time i visit Koh Samui my stay will be in Samui First House Hotel for sure. I will recommend this hotel to all my firends and relatives who are planning to visit Samui. The Location is excellent and the private beach is very good and very clean. The food is very good. And the most important factor is the behavious of the staff, they are so good and they make you feel like a king. Well done Samui First house, this will be my house in Samui during my future visits and thanks to Agoda for suggesting this hotel to me.

So, if you need to or want to stay in Samui, be close to it all, the beaches, restaurants, clubs, shopping, then if you get a good rate at this hotel, you'll probably get much better value for money than one of the very expensive up-market resorts in the area. If you need to be right on the beach, you may want to check out some others, but you'll pay a lot! more and may not get as good service... So over all, a big thumbs up if staying in Chaweng Beach area of Koh Samui for work or play! There tour desk run by a young guy is excellent as well.... no 'push selling'.

I stayed Lotus Hotel from 30th Dec to 3rd Jan. To go to Countdown party in Koh Phangan, I booked this hotel. Every time I see them, they smile to us and they always help us to enjoy Koh Samui. Lotus hotel is located on 10min walk from the centre. So you can enjoy nite life in koh samui whenever you want! Room is very clean and if you ask staff, you can change towel and sheats anytime. You can use Free Wifi at the reception. But we couldn't use Wifi in our room.

I've stayed at the Chaweng Budget Hotel now a few times during my many years of visiting Koh Samui. I've shopped around for various other hotels over the years, but I always seem to find myself wanting to come back to the Chaweng Budget Hotel. For one thing, the hotel is in a good location. South Chaweng is, to my mind, the best part of Chaweng Beach. You get away from the crowds and the noise, and yet you can get down to the busy strip easily enough if you want to. The beach itself is also much better for swimming at this end, and it's generally just a nicer area overall. The staff at the Chaweng Budget Hotel are always friendly. Each time I stay, it feels like coming home. The rooms are clean and well-attended, and they still offer one of the best breakfasts on the entire strip for this kind of money. Plus, you get to use the health and pool facilities of its sister hotel. All in all, it's hard to beat the Chaweng Budget Hotel for this kind of money.

We stayed only one night 2 rooms at Pandora, Mr Ilari is a very nice person being very helpful and show us everything in the hotel. We rent 2 bikes with Pandora to explore the island. Very convenient. Staff at Pandora is very accommodating, my boys love the breakfast serve at Pandora. Their comment on our overall 6 days hotel stay in Koh Samui Pandora is the best. Highly recommended ...

First Residence Koh Samui was better than I expected. Their logo says "Budget Luxury" so I anticipated a cheap hotel that pretends (on the surface) to be a luxury accomodation with worn down cheap materials and poor standard, but I was wrong. I suggest the hotel change their logo to "Affordable luxury". The location was ideal with free parking under the house, big room with balcony, well equipped with everything you need. Big comfortable bed, clean bathroom (also very clean bathtub!), rich and tasty breakfast, lovely pool with jacuzzi, free beach blanket and access to free sunbeds on the beach, free safety lockers in he reception - and very friendly staff. We had a very pleasant stay and I can strongly recommend it.

We have stayed in koh samui several times, at several different hotels, and this hotel has been the best value for money out of all of them. staff are friendly and helpful, and speak very good english. the complimentary bus into chaweng leaves every half hour, and you can arrange with the driver for a pick-up time. we had an extra bed in our room for my grandson, but still there was plenty of room to spread out clothes, etc. the balcony was larger than average. the pool was excellent and there was an attendant there at all times to serve drinks, which were very quickly served. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as we had a very pleasant stay.

My friends and me had a great time in Koh Samui. The island is beautiful and there's plenty of fun stuff to do. But what made our time in Samui even more special was our stay at The Samui Beach Residence. The hotel is located close to the beach and yet comfortably far (700 mts to 1km) from the noisy nightlife Samui has to offer. The Hotel owners Mr. Pascal and Mrs. Cherylle were delightful hosts. They made sure that our stay was memorable and fun. They gave us all the essential information a tourist needs about Samui. Our rooms were the best part of our stay in Samui. Tastefully furnished and comfortably set. The rooms were kept neat and tidy. And we would always look forward to coming back to the room after long days and late nights in Samui. The Hotel provides free wifi to its customers but unlike most other hotels, the Wifi is super fast. The hotel boasts a variety of different breakfasts including a Halal breakfast. The food (breakfast or otherwise) was plentiful and really tasty. The hotel is located in a safe locality with a 24/7 department store just 20 yards from the lobby. There's a big shopping mall 5 mins walk from the hotel. And all best pubs, restaurants and nightlife are just 10 mins by walk. This hotel is what all hotels should strive to be like. Thank you for the wonderful time we had in Samui Mr. Pascal and Mrs. Cherylle. :)

The hotel is 33% completed so far. Only 100 out from 300 rooms fully completed. However, the location is excellent in ChaWeng, also near to the airport. Rooms are clean and spacious as it's quite new. No bottled water provided though. Carpark are convenient and plentiful fir those who are driving. Swimming pool should be the longest in Koh Samui at 108m. Overall it's very good. Will stay there again.

I booked an Economy room but the hotel staff was so nice to upgrade it to a Standard room which has window at no extra cost. Hotel is a short walking distance to Chaweng Beach, Chaweng Walking Street and there's plenty of dining choices around the area that suits all types of budget. For the budget traveller, you can walk to Ninja Crepes which serves tasty local food at a reasonable price. Hotel was quiet and room was clean with comfortable bed. Hotel staff were very friendly and there was one occasion that I had left my point-and-shoot camera at a travel tour shop and the hotel receptionist was very kind to let me know so I can go back to the shop and get it. Breakfast is quite standard but I love that they served fruits like mangosteen and rambutan. Overall I was very pleased with my stay in Nantra Chaweng Hotel. I ended up extending for another 3 nights. I will not hesitate staying here again if I get the chance to visit Koh Samui again in the future.

Maybe the outside ihasnot alot of atmosphere but the room is great. The shower is big/fabulous and can get Very very hot. Separate toilet. The bed kingsize very good not hard...the other bed ( single) also good. So you have an kingbed and a singlebed at the room. Lots of towels all kind of sizes, even there are 2 large towels for the poobeds or beach ( Blue Lagoon ). I went to the Blue Lagoon beach.....you can buy food and drinks by the beachventers in the middle of Blue Lagoon and The Amari, good price of cours. TV great very very large size... lost of channels all internation some Thai channels to. The Wifi is pretty fast for Thailand. The reception good ...need them only for check in and out. I am very familiar at Samui. Restaurant Sala Thai around the corner surprises me and your next door of Prego famous Italian restaurant at Koh Samui. You can walk to the center, bars and shoppingmall ( Central Festival ). Iff u come for the room, pool, location and price its great

Stayed at bhundhari for 2 days after checking out from another hotel. Had a beach front private pool villa which was outstanding. Very well maintained by the staff. Memories worth remwmbering from the time we got the pick up from another hotel to bhundhari. Location: At chaweng.. Not even 5mins drive to the main chaweng area. Big Buddha is also 5 mins drive from the resort but in other direction from chaweng main street. A perfect place for relaxing as well as partying. Facilities: Services at its finest. The pick up to the hotel and to the airport. The staff is very helful always with a smiling face. The resort is spread along 2 sides of the main road. If u r staying in rooms close to the beach then they always have a golf cart ready in 2 3 mins. The beach restraunt is nice along with the common pool with good music playing around throughout the day. The private pool is accesible from the room itself. And the beat part is the lightings. The view is mesmirising at night as well during the day. The lights in the pool allows to have agood swim during night hours as well. Bathroom is huge with a jacuzzi facing the pool and the beach. The sun beds are also comfortable enough besides the private pool. Had an awesome experience. A big thanks to Mr.Babu who was very friendly and attended to all our needs. You just think of something and Mr.Babu has the answer to it. From the time we checked in till we checked out throughout our stay he made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Hotel can arrange the car or bike if you want to drive along. Food: Buffet breakfast was perfect with a vast variety. Also the lunch dinner and snacks were good. Room service avilable also you can enjoy the food next to the beach. Conclusion: A perfect resort. Will definetly recommend bhundhari to anybody visiting koh samui.

I enjoyed my time in the bungalow. The gardens are beautiful and it was nice to sit on the beach having my meals. I never saw a policeman or a soldier so the recent problems in Thailand haven't reached Koh Samui. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The beach is just a couple of minutes away and the main street the same. I had almost all my meals at the OP restaurant and they were much cheaper than elsewhere. I also had an excellent massage at a much cheaper price than other places. The evening beach mini bar was very popular and a good way to spend an evening.

We booked here for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 more nights paid through the hotel. Small hotel with spacious bungalow style rooms with lots of light and nicely gardened areas around rooms. Rooms sit off the road so nice and quiet at night. Pool was nice with shade and sun options for lounging and a few tabled areas for sitting and eating. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Laundry by the kilo available onsite. Hotel also has some long stay options with microwave and dining area plus 2 awesome villa style rooms with living room areas and small private pools. Onsite parking area also. The only negatives we would say were some areas had spotty or weak Wi-Fi and only limited TV channels but we rarely used anyway. Some areas of the property are in need of updating or repair but this can be expected of almost any smaller hotel in Thailand. None of these things affected our stay and did not include any of the daily use areas of the property. Especially considering this was on the lower end of the prices for hotel with a pool it was a spectacular bargain and we will happily stay again

And now for the review... We arrived in Samui and had to stay one night as we could not ferry across to koh phangan due to the bad weather condition. We were able to book for this hotel at the airport desk at no additional surcharge. We got a great rate. We were placed in a standard room and this was just perfect. The next morning, the hotel packed us a box breakfast. Due to my debourchurous hangover i didnt quite get the food down. On our return to Koh Samui after the full moon party we returned to the same hotel for 5 nights. The hospitality at the front desk was great. Whenever we needed new towels they arrived in 2 minutes. breakfast at the hotel was above standard for this grade establishment the hotel is a beautiful westernised hotel which i would stay in again and again only hint is to try not get a room near the road. all in all a great stay and well recommended.
