We arrived in Chau Doc with the intention of spending a night in transit at a decent hotel, have a shower, dinner, sleep and head out as quickly as possible. So wrong! Chau Doc is very underestimated and should be high on any adventurous travellers go to list. We ended up booking an extra night as soon as it became clear that this was a very special hotel in a very in...

The hotel is very clean, modern, good size room, well equipped with sockets next to the bed, clean kettle, fridge etc. Great location right in the centre of town. Breakfast options were a bit limited but for the price you can't really complain. We booked for one night and ended up staying three- there's not a lot to do in chau doc but was a great hotel for a little res...

Except the location is 2 Km outside the city center, everything was great. The hotel room design is suitable to the Western Traveler. The room is Spacious, comfortable matress, and contemporary style. We are really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staffs are very friendly and ready to accomodate everything that you need during the visit. We give it an 8.5 rating.

The hotel was clean, the staffs was very helpful just one thing to think of it was the distance to the temples and to the market could be inconvenient if you don’t have the transport but if you want, you still could use the bus which stops in front of the hotel other way everything was good

This was a centrally located basic but decent hotel in Chau Doc. The breakfast was good, and the staff friendly, plus they made us feel very welcome by having a welcome sign with our names on when we arrived there! The only down was the side of the room. There were 3 of us so we booked into a superior twin, which had 2 double beds. The room was obviously only made ...

The hotel is very close to Chau Doc market and the center and therefore very convinient. We stayed at the room for four which is very spacious and clean! The staff were very friendly. As our departure was in the late afternoon, we were allowed to use the bathroom to take showers after we had checked out and we really appreciated it.

The owner and his family is very friendly. Rooms are very clean, big bathroom and quiet. We rent a scooter for a day for 150.000 Dong and got breakfast very cheap but it was delicious. Good Vietnamese coffee!!! The distance to the city is not that far but we didn't mind to take a moto taxi- it's so cheap and easy. And at least it's walkable as well! We - as a young t...

Less than 5 mins to the market. Room with ac. Terrace is amazing (they lock the terrace at evening). Terrace view even better than Victoria Hotel in town. Very poor breakfast with break and egg (or jam/butter to choose) and tea/coffee. Staffs who speak some little eng would most converse to sell tour, but with quit fair price. I join the one to the floating fish farm, ...

The room is very basic and doesn't deserve "deluxe" at all and is too expensive for what it is. Be prepared to fight moskitos and other insects yourself. A big plus is the terrace overlooking the river where you can hang out watching all kinds of transport passing by. The restaurant above the rooms stays open until 10 pm, so the noise levels in the rooms is really high...

I was delighted when I arrived at the Trung Nguyen Hotel in the fascinating town of Chau Doc. The rooms are clean and spacious at an excellent price. Chau Doc itself is a charming place and I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. Probably the best two days of my month long trip to Vietnam.

The best hotel for a overnight near border if you wish to go to Cambodia. We aririved late in the evening for an overnight before we go to Cambodia. We wanted to go by boat (Mekong river), but we had no idea how (we knew boats leave Chau Doc early in the morning but we had no tickets, so we planned to get up early and start walking from one to other company).
