I was really hoping for a very relaxing stay in Tagaytay City and Taal Vista really delivered. The staff are very friendly, the facilities are well-maintained, and all my requests were granted (in terms of room specifications and accommodations). Me and my girlfriend were treated like royalty, as well as everyone else (guests). I guess this raises the bar for hotels in the Philippines - probably one of the nicest, warmest places to have a fun, romantic weekend stay at. The hotel also had a great view of the Taal Volcano - probably the nearest and most breathtaking view of the volcano. Very couple-friendly and the service are consistently superb. Staff are all-smiles and are very warm to speak to. They even would engage you in genuine conversations which I found very homey and reflects the Filipino hospitality. I'd say this is one of the top three best countryside hotels in the Philippines. I hope they keep up the good work as I will definitely be coming back soon. Just positive things to say about this hotel. Two thumbs up!

We chose this hotel due to the many good reviews and boy they did not disappoint us. We wanted a quiet getaway for our Anniversary. We booked the twin deluxe room as someone had just booked the last available king room for the same price minutes before we placed our booking. I then wrote to them asking if we could get a king room in case a room becomes available. I also asked if we could have anything to acknowledge our anniversary (just something printed on paper like "happy anniversary"). They responded to my message immediately and said they would try their best to accommodate my request. When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff (check in was a breeze) and assisted to our room, I was very pleased to see that we were given a king deluxe room and upon entering the room there was a beautifully printed out happy anniversary behind a plate with chocolate cake (which also had happy anniv. written on it) surrounded by petals. *insert emoji with heart eyes* This just made our stay extra special. We enjoyed our swim in the pool and the spacious overall facility of the Hotel. Breakfast buffet was okay. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and surely will be back when we want some time away from the city. Thank you again to the Staff for exceeding our expectations! Keep it up!

Our stay at Tagaytay Wingate Manor was great! The place is very peaceful and quiet. We were the only ones there during the first night. The shabu-shabu dinner is a must try. Try the spicy soup, it's one of the best we've tasted in the Philippines. The location of our room was overlooking the pool and you can go to the pool by a back entrance from the room. The massage was great as well. Be sure to get the wellness package when you book at this hotel.

Domicillo Design Hotel is just beside the main highway but their rooms promises a quiet sanctuary for their guest. And it’s true! The moment we arrived in our room, we don’t wanna leave anymore. We just want to lounge all day in the bed which has a direct view of the Taal Lake. The room has complimentary bottle of wine, one hour massage for two and breakfast! The bed and pillows are comfy and soft, you will have a relaxing night. The TV is decent sized so you can watch while in bed. Wifi is reliable and fast. Toiletries are complete with matching bathrobes and slippers. We’re not a morning person but who can say no to a free delicious breakfast so throughout our stay, we choose to wake up early for a nice breakfast. It would have been better if they allowed us to eat in the balcony/patio. Would I go back? Definitely! But I think I prefer the superior rooms which is located at the second level. It has a nicer view of taal lake. However, the TV and room space is smaller compared to Premier rooms.

the best part of the hotel is that it is very accessible, either via car or via public transportation. it is beside an upscale mall (kinda like eastwood/greenbelt) with alfresco diners and a grocery store. the room is spacious and the shower area is very clean. each room has a view to the taal lake which is great plus factor. you can ride a jeepney in front of the hotel to go to other tourist spots around the area. downside is that service for us was really slow. called the hotel and advised them that we will arrive at around 12:30. when we got there, we were informed that room was not yet ready and were asked to come back at 2 pm. we ate lunch at josephine's right infront of the hotel and came back and had to wait for 15 minutes because the staff were busy doing other things. pool was not heated so it gets really really cold even during the afternoon. its 'infinity pool' is somewhat small and does not have a great view. you are basically looking at a construction site being built beside the hotel.

I reserve this place for my my family in the Philippines and they said " everything was perfect except for how the payment was handled. I booked this place via Agoda. com and in the instruction was I will be billed by the property . I clearly understood that instruction. Few days later after the booking, I got a text and an email that I must confirm/ submit my credit card to Booking. com wherein they gave me a link and so i did after confirming with my credit card company that nobody charged me yet. Then when the day had come for my family to check in my credit card wasn't charged yet and they were asking my family to pay!. What is this? How is it if my family did not bring such amount nor credit card in their travel ? This is such a big hassle for my family and on my part I was embarassed! Mode of payment needs to proper and there's way to communicate with me . Why it wasn't done! You will loose business to people like me who loves to treat my family back home....

We stayed during the Valentine 2019 weekend (Thursday to Sunday). Our room was described as "lakeview" (Deluxe 2, 2nd floor), and indeed it was but only partially as there were trees that blocked the part of the lake with Taal volcano. The location is convenient in terms of having an unlimited Korean restaurant in the same hotel, a McDonald's in the adjacent lot, and a 7/11 across the McDonald's. Ihawan Republic restaurant is also within walking distance (they have great food). Two things caught my attention the most. First was the cleanliness. I'm practically a diagnostic tool for aircon dust (I ALWAYS sneeze in a room with dirty aircon). Our room never made me sneeze at all! I also walked around barefoot and my feet didn't become dirty (they provided bedroom slippers which I did not wear initially). Second was the very efficient housekeeping team. There were four of them and they made-up our room in about 5 minutes. Overall, I would book this hotel again if there was a promo.

✅ THE LOCATION - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As mentioned above, the hotel is along the highway, so it is accessible with or without a private car. For those who have cars, you may park your vehicles in the designated parking areas in front of the hotel. It is also near several restaurants, as well as a mall (Ayala Malls Serin), so you won't ever get hungry. 😁 The only downside of having it along the highway was that the noises of the cars passing by were super evident during the night time, which made it hard for us to fall asleep on the first night. 😅 ✅ THE AESTHETICS - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The place looked so refreshing from the facade, to the lobby, to the rooms! 😍 They have plenty of paintings / artworks hung around the halls, and the hotel is super IG-worthy! The also have a roof deck / viewing deck where you can enjoy your breakfast with an overlooking Taal view. ✅ THE ROOM / AMENITIES - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved how the rooms were not that big but still had everything we needed. The hotel has less than 20 rooms, so it doesn't get too busy either, so the needed R&R is very much achievable. I also found out that instead of having so much plastic packaging on the toiletries, they have these pump bottles which stored the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. They also have paper-like hotel slippers! 😁 If ever you get thirsty, the water dispenser is just located at the lobby and you can refill your tumblers any time. My mom and I got a bit frustrated with the cable TV though, as it kept losing its signal, so we weren't able to fully enjoy the show we were watching. 😢 ✅ THE SERVICE - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From check-in to check-out, all the staff were very courteous, helpful, and respectful. They were always ready to assist us whenever we needed it, and that really spells out 5-star service. 😉 Adding to this is Blue, the resident doggo of Eco Hotel. He's super cute and nice! (Tip: You may bring your dog to Eco Hotel for a minimal fee!) ✅ THE FOOD - ⭐⭐⭐ This is the part where they fall a bit behind... Our

Hubby and I had a great weekend at Containers. The staff members were friendly, accommodating and very hospitable. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully designed. If not for the immense heat, you could spend hours exploring the area, which while fairly small, is full of art and murals. As hubby and I are both art majors, this was something we really took a fancy to. A few issues we had: 1. I found a couple of small stains on 1 pillow cover. 2. The water pressure in the shower was so low even at its highest setting. I get that the hotel advocates to conserve resources, but bathing took a longer time because of this. 3. The hotel's design isn't senior citizen or PWD-friendly. There are no lifts, and the stairs are steep and narrow without much support. 4. Breakfast may take a long time to be delivered at your table. When we got to the dining area (rooftop deck), there were a good number of people, though I could see that most of them were almost finished. Still, we waited for an hour or so for our food, which was almost cold already and tasted bland; thus, we had to make full use of the condiments provided. These issues still wouldn't deter us from coming back though. The place was lovely and everything else they had to offer more than made up for said issues. Also, you'll LOVE the free toiletries they will provide to your room! And best of all, they allow pets. :) Some notes to take note of: 1. Prepare a P1000 security deposit per room. 2. Pets are allowed. They usually allow only 1 per room, but if you have 2 furbabies that are small in size and don't weigh more than 20kg combined, they can bend the rules a bit. 3. Pet fee is P500/pet. There is also a P2000 security deposit per pet apart from the usual security deposit.

This time we looked for a place away from the main highway so we can get away with the human and car traffic, and I guess we just hit the jackpot. This place is the best place to be- not far from restaurants, parallel to skyranch (you can actually see the ferris wheel from the balcony), just a ride away from the places you want to be, near mahogany market for the freshest harvest, and of course, Tagaytay's bulalo. And location is just the icing. We were welcomed by the best staff who assisted us and let us check in quite early because we came in at around 9am. And when we got into our room, we were greeted by the sweetest clean smell. it's as if you're in a 5-star hotel. And the linens? Best linens I have to say. Though you need to be extra careful not to soil the linens because they might have to charge you. The restaurant downstairs offers a number of choices for your free breakfast. They also have the best crew who caters to our requests which sometimes are not in their menu. They have karaoke for wednesdays and thursdays, and live bands on fridays and saturdays. But since it we were there during the Holy Week, they showed Christian films instead. Overall, it was one of the best places we've been too, if not the best. Miss Anne, was the most accommodating. :) Thank you.

I had never been to the Philippines before. I booked the Days Inn as a suggestion of my fiance. I booked through Agoda and it was easy. The price was a great value for what you get. It is a solid 3 star accommodation. The staff is friendly and prompt to handle any concern you might have. The breakfast for two was included in the price and could be upgraded from continental to your choice for a small fee. The dining was authentic. There was live entertainment every night we stayed. The location is amazing... on the side of the hill overlooking the volcano... breathtaking. Highly recommend. I will stay there again if in Tagaytay. Thanks Days Inn.

I have stayed in several hotels in tagaytay and so far this is the best I have been so far. The rooms are elegantly designed with a touch of class. The rooms can easily compete with 5 star hotels but with just a fraction of the price. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, they seem to take care of details in terms of cleanliness. The bathroom amenities are available only upon request, but this is understandable because, even other countries do that too, hotels also do their part in saving the planet by minimizing the use of plastic containers, etc. The staffs are friendly and ready to serve with a smile. Breakfast is good, I love the tapa! The location is also right in the center of Tagaytay which is good. Overall, this is a hotel that will give you value for money. This is definitely the best hotel in Tagaytay. Definitely, I will book this hotel again in my next Tagaytay trip.

the theodore hotel has nice rooms with modern and artistic decor. at the back of the hotel, the gazebo is a great place to relax and take in the wonderful view of the lake and taal volcano. i was surprised to have multiple options for the breakfast, and the public areas were great places to lounge around and relax. i had actually booked the hotel in august of 2012, but since a typhoon put everything on hold, they were kind enough to rebook me for when i came back to the philippines in december. i think it is worth a stay. they only areas of improvement could be widening the signal of the wifi and fixing the broken safe in the room.

The place was perfect. Location is right beside where the action is. Room is very clean, new and neat. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is relatively cheap as well considering we booked one night before the trip. Staffs are also available when I have to call them during midnight. The ONLY concern possible concern though is the bathroom. It is a bit see through but the shower area is completely covered. If this is not a problem, then this hotel is one of the best choices in Tagaytay

The hotel is relatively new compared to other hotels within Tagaytay. Quite close to shopping areas & restaurants too! We only stayed here for 1 night but I must say, I'm impressed with the service & how spacious the room was! The reservation officer, hotel manager & front desk personnel were all polite and very helpful. The beds are comfortable. The veranda is an added bonus considering our room was located on the 21st floor. So you really don’t need to turn on the AC at night. Just open the window & let the fresh cold breeze of Tagaytay cool you off at night. The ref, microwave & electric kettle were all working. No carpet on the floor so I suggest bringing your own sandals when checking in at this hotel. The design of the bathroom is quite odd. The loo & shower is divided by a smoked glass and with separate doors. Quite uncomfortable when you're sharing the room with just a friend! The heater & water pressure are both up to standard. No WIFI inside the room but I guess that’s ok since we stayed there to relax. There is a free wifi at the lobby. Data signal is not that strong inside the room & acceptable when near the window. Their restaurant is also new, offering Asian Cuisines. The manager was helpful enough to guide us through the menu when we dined at their resto located on the 3rd floor. It is a small resto similar to some small restaurants found in Thailand with modest asian interior design. Also, with an open kitchen so you can watch them prepare your food. All of their offerings are reasonably priced. We ordered for their sampler, pad thai and tab tim grob. All of them were interesting and quite delish! Kudos to the thai chef. They are offering a unique experience of enjoying an unobstructed 360° view of Tagaytay via the roofdesk. You just need to ask them for this. Highly recommended if you are a budget traveler but don’t want to compromise on the comfort and value of your money! Will definitely come back to this hotel.

The staff are polite, very accommodating. Food is good. The room is really huge that you can fit in like 5-6 adults in one room. Very accessible, when you go out of the hotel you can see a restaurant, shopping center and restaurants are everywhere near the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. I just have one suggestion to the management please ensure that the water heater is working well. But my overall experience with this hotel is really amazing..

The Hotel Georgina is a very good hotel that you can stay at Tagaytay. The price of accommodation is very reasonable because its very affordable. They have free breakfast for two. And you have the free access to the pool and to the bar as long as you are check in. The staffs are very approachable. I have bo problem to the facilities as well as to their staffs. But the location of the hotel ia quiet far from the Tagaytay tourist attractions but you can ride a jeep or tricycle going to rotanda terminal (5-8minutes away from thw hotel) from there you can ride a jeep going to peoples park,picnic groove etc. Im so happy to my experience at the Hotel Georgina. I will reccomend this hotel. And im surely i will book again.

This Is a very Quiet Away from the Noise in the City Center. You have a Great View of the Surrounding Land that the Q Hotel Is On. The Rooms Are very Clean and the Staff Is very Welcoming; Kind and Caring about You and Your Desires. If You Selectbtge Correct Booking; it also Includes Breakfast and they Will Do the Best to Accomadate You for Special Things to Eat or Drink if Possible. You Can also Earn Miles for Your Frequent Mikes via your Airlines that You Use. The Room Was very Clean and the Staff Was Excellent. I Highly Recommend the Q Hotel. It's Worth the Price.

a bit expensive. breakfast was awesome. staff also awesome. the hotel is it self but then surrounded by some of the best clubs and restaurants in the area. WITH A VIEW from the common areal. The The views are awesome views to the lake and the party clubs and people were great. our room had 5 beds........kids loved the t.v. and facilities..........VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND...AND ITS A 10 MIN WALK,,,YES WALK TO SKY RANCH.........THE weather is a bit cool here because of being on a mountain but the VIEW IS AWESOME.!!! Just wear jeans or pants and a light jacket.......recommend ....it does get windy...........HAVE A BLAST HERE........BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME...not cheap...............STAFF ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD.!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want a better view of the lake hire a helicopter -) This is a top floor apartment in a tall tower block on top of the ridge overlooking the lake so the view from the balcony is amazing at any time during the day. If it is a cloudy day you feel like you are floating in the clouds. Apartment itself is spotlessly clean, bed is extremely comfortable. Sheets, towels etc are clean and crisp. Plenty of toiletries. Everything in the apartment looks brand new and is top line. Decent international selection on the TV which is also internet enabled. Internet is strong and much better than I found in other hotels in the Philippines. Staff are top notch and location is great just a short walk from Sky Ranch, Josephine and other restaurants across the road and jeepney stop outside. Bank, restaurants, laundry on site.

I booked the Jasmin room, and it is really tidy and spacious, looks better in person than in the pictures. Extra pillow and blanket were provided for free. Breakfast from Sinangag Express is also provided, which is just beside the hotel. The hotel’s 3rd floor has 2 rooms (Irish and Jasmin- where we stayed), these are fronting the main road that is why noises from vehicles, etc. can be heard. I suggest you request for a room on the 2nd floor (they have 6) - not fronting directly at the main road. Also, eating inside the room is not suggested, drop a tiny piece of food and you’ll see a parade of ants in just a few minutes, ants were so fast that i had to put our trash bin outside the room. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating, though rooms doesn’t have refrigerator, they offered us to use their ref at the lobby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel, i just hope they fix the problem with the ants, maybe book a pest and control service =)

there are a lot of good things about this place but i'll start first with the cons. there's a swimming pool but it's unusable specially on a january when it's very very cold. our room was on the 4th floor and it was a little tiring to walk to the stairs everytime you have to go somewhere, image those who would be assigned on the 5th flr. there was a construction on-going at the back part of the hotel, and they still assigned people beside the construction, it was a little noisy, but from a hotel, you try to expect to get the relaxation you need. for the good parts, all employees are approachable and willing to help. the hotel is just a few meters from the city proper and there are a lot of public transpo for trips to other places. the room is nice, the bathroom is clean, the whole place is clean, the view was good (although it was at the wrong side of tagaytay), the food was adequate and there are ample facilities. if you ask me if i'd go back? yes! the cons are heavily outweighed by the pros. the bad stuff are mostly small things i can do without.

We booked the Superior package for 3 days, 2 nights. We arrived an hour or two after check-in time and they were perfectly fine with it. The room, though with no view (and perfectly understandable for the package), was perfect. Spacious, with TV, cold aircondition, and quiet. The bathroom was a bit compact but who needs a big one, it's a bathroom! However, the bathroom floor drainage need some fixing by lowering it deeper so the water will naturally flow to it. Other than that, it's all fine, with a set of towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast area was a blast. You have a good view of Taal lake and the volcanoes in it. Even with the sunlight in, you won't feel the heat because of the cool weather. Unlimited drinks and a good selection of Filipino dishes. It was so good (2 breakfasts) that before we left, we ate our lunch there too, affordable price. Friendly staff, although they were not that familiar with the places you can visit, they heard of it, yes, so I'll give it that they're not good with distances (like I do). They also have an event area outside the hotel building itself. A good place to exercise in the morning, take photos, and all. If we'll visit Tagaytay again, they're at the top of our list.

Total waste of money and time. should stay instead to other hotel in Tagaytay.. Dirty and smelly room (#5). Overused and dirty beddings/sheets and Towels. when we enter our room there's two used towels hanging inside the cabinet. No slippers and even a chair provided inside the room. Only saving grace - the good mannered staff and dining crew. Overall, this a total rip-off and NOT coming back or recommending this to visitors in Tagaytay. Lesson/s: Dont rely to the pics here in Agoda and wonder why theres 2 comments only for this hotel. There are many good/best hotels in this area.

Hotel Aroha has the same facilities as other 3-star hotels. What sets it apart is their attentive staff. They anticipated our needs and went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay. Some areas for improvement: 1) Wifi signal keeps dropping out, even though our room was near the router 2) Hair dryer is not included in the amenities Overall, the experience was great. We'll definitely come back next time.

The main thing that this place has is the magnificent stunning view of the Taal, so make sure to book the rooms that offer the view. Still, the lobby garden and the breakfast lounge both gives an excellent view of it if you're booked in rooms with no view. During our weekend stay, I must say the breakfast selection was wide and great. We booked the deluxe view and we are totally digging the air purifier in every room. The bathroom is made complete with a shower area, bathtub, toilet and sink, but the best thing if you have kids is you can turn up the blinds from the bathtub area and just look after your kids bathing while lying on the bed next to the bathroom glass panel. This glass panel makes it look like your in an aquarium! Last to mention is the kind thought of booking my room in front of the kid's play area since it was noted that I will be travelling with little kids. The check in/out process was quick. Although, I find the 3k cash security deposit too big for a local hotel.
