Hotels near Empress Gardens

Stayed here last weekend and got a good deal on a budget stay for 2 via Agoda. Reception and staff are courteous (especially Rojmira). The rooms were divine and I absolutely loved the bath installation and drop down blinds that separate the room from the shower. Its perfect for couples and a comfortable (luxurious) weekend stay. Room is very well equipped and service is quick. Also loved the breakfast spread the following day: international and local fare that catered to all tastes and preferences. My partner and I were down with severe viral and yet we managed to rest and rejuvenate during our stay. The staff was kind also when there was some confusion with our booking and number of guests. Special mention to Komal as well for handling it. I wanted to repeat my stay last weekend as well but accidentally booked the RO Golden Suites instead. Will return next time for a weekend again. Thanks Royal Orchid for salvaging what could've been a possibly disastrous weekend for me. :)

i,wish we had a few nights more to savour of the hotels comforts and location which was ideally in a resedential area ie a two minute walk to our residence at goodwill enclave.the cleanlines was impeccable backed by professional staff service hope they are able to sustain these standards and stay in the business longer the vegetarian restaraunt is one of its kind then again the best restaraunts and shopping in punes toplocality of kalyaninagar are all within 300 metre radius

The stay at Hyatt was excellent. The rooms were big, washrooms were clean and big. The toiletries provided were good quality. House keeping staff do wonderful job. Polite front desk staff. And best, the staff in dining area really pamper the guests. It was so good tp have such caring attitude of all hotel staff. The safe in room was not working, they immediately replaced it. The gym is great, has almost everything. Mini bar selection is also good. Con: I dint like the vegetarian dinner buffet option, it had karela, baingan and lauki. Breakfast buffet spread is vast. It has everything you can think of. Again, there are live counters for anything customized you would desire. Staff is very helpful. Despite being self service, staff happily serve the prepared dish from live counters or a cup of tea/coffee. I must admit, the Hotel staff is one of the bests I have seen. This much hospitalilty and guest pampering is only seen in India.

i loved staying in this hotel. the apartment was comfortable, clean, well maintained and spacious. kitchen was well appointed with a fridge, stove, all utensils, toaster, drip coffee maker. complimentary tea, instant coffee and 2 bottles of water daily. free use of laundry washing machine and dryer, and they provide washing powder at the front desk. the hotel provides a free auto rickshaw service within pune area which was perfect for me to attend the osho commune retreat centre in the mornings (which is only a 10 minute walk back to the hotel). breakfast was an extensive buffet with local, indian and western foods, and was good quality and very tasty. they cook eggs to order. staff were very friendly and helpful. i would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed already several times at the O-Hotel and, so far, have always been quite happy. The rooms are spacious, have a big bathtub (my absolute favorite after a long day) and the beds comfy. Nevertheless, some of the rooms (the furniture, the floor) show quite some wear and tear and would need some renovation. In general, I wouldn't rate the hotel as a five-star hotel which strive for perfection, but a good four-star hotel in an exceptional location for usually a really good price. The service of the hotel most of the time is very good, but it really depends on who you are dealing with: Most of the personnel is really considerate and great, but there are a few (very few) who give you the feeling that they are not too interested in customer satisfaction or customer support. My special thanks go to the assistant of the the front office, Hitesh Ojha, who dealt an issue with regard to my travel planning and booking with the utmost courtesy.

Stayed at St. Laurn for 2 nights in an executive twin room. The room was perfect, spacious, could adjust the aircon to my liking, good bathroom, what more do you want? Breakfast was included and it was okay, with the usual order your own dosa etc. The room service was good as well, with a variety of choices of Indian and Western food. Loved the Muligatawny soup. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. The location is just perfect for exploring Pune and if you need an auto rickshaw or a cab, it was no problem to get one. Koregaon Park area has some lovely alleys and streets lined with trees with little cafes and restaurants with gardens. For the price paid, it is very value for money! Will stay here again if I come back to Pune.

I have stayed here 5 times in the past 2 months. This review is after 5 different experiences. The Hotel Location is a big plus point. Under 10 minutes from Station, touches the M G Road/Eat Streets. Provides quick connectivity to Swargate (15 mins). The staff at the hotel is courteous and polite. The rooms are good and well maintained. It's an old hotel, so some squeaks here and there can be expected. Jyoti and Krishna at the front desk have been very helpful at all times. The hotel seems to support local products as I see the paper napkins etc are sources from local (Pune) vendors. So, that's great! Overall, I recommend this hotel to everyone. They don't allow your guests to the room under any circumstances. If you expect guests during the day time, you should book for those many heads. Or, if you have already booked solo/double occupancy and expect guest during the day, they will charge you a nominal fee and then let them to your rooms. Which is fair.

I had booked the Royal Orchid Hotel next to Big Cinemas. It was only later I realized that it was the Golden suites service apartments. Its a little inside down the lane from the other RO hotel. These are service apartments. Quite spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staff is friendly and all amenities are to the mark for a weekend stay or a staycation. I wouldn't have paid the same value for this as the Royal Orchid hotel - the latter is more luxurious than this hotel. For eg. bathrooms are a stark contrast and so is the design and amenities. However, I am a routine traveler and for someone like me this was perfectly comfortable and convenient. I recommend for anyone from couples, family, friends etc.

I did the bookings via Agoda and had taken Pay at the hotel option. They deducted the money in prior without any intimation. The whole purpose of doing @pay at hotel option was to pay in cash. Hence I chose for a higher price. Although , at much cheaper rate the same hotel was available on the other sites. The hotel is good and worth staying , staff is hospitable but booking from this site is not at all appreciated.

Clean room but a bit small. Breakfast was Indian food which were really good but very limited choices. Polite staff but management refused to give us packed sandwiches before taking our flight although we requested for them as breakfast is included the package. Our friends who stayed in another hotel had packed sandwiches. Best part is the location. There is a mall where branded items are sold and you can get fast food like A&W. There are plenty of shops selling all kinds of things as it is part of the town. There is a huge bazaar with hundreds of shops selling punjabee suits, clothes, bags, trinkets etc. There are also many restaurants. Interesting place.

Overall our experience was great. Staff were fantastic. Room provided was comfortable and decently maintained. Toilet was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent, enough to keep one well fueled for the day. Location perfect, Pune is pretty spread out, so this location is perfect for everything, Overall we enjoyed ourselves. If I were to ever visit Pune then I would surely choose hotel phoenix again. Good job guys

I liked my stay here; it is one of the best hotels I ever stayed. The hotel staff are professional and do their best to meet guests requests. I have really experienced this. The room is spacious, big and has top quality facilities. I used their room service, spa, internet, etc. and had no problem with any of these. I appreciate the hotel's spa which has good experienced staff who made me feel fresh after a tiring day. They did a great job and deserve praise. In all aspects the hotel is a great stay and value for money. I look forward to my next visit.

I wanted to book 1 room for myself and my parents by opting for a double room with an extra bed. On the agoda website, there was an icon which I mistook for no. Of room so I selected 1. Later at the hotel I was told that it is for the number of occupants. They had given me a double room. I told them I will pay for one extra bed. To my surprise, they said the rates are not for the room but per occupant. So for the same room they asked me to pay Rs1200 extra for 2 persons. They said these are breakfast charges, not room charges. I agreed to pay considering the breakfast for 2 people is reasonable for 1200. Again lotus/bogus managed to surprise me. For breakfast they served poha and chai. I asked them if I want a bread toast they said it will call for extra charge. I am a regular traveller and have never seen a breakfast option for 1200 bucks so limited. They are thieves disguised as businessmen.
