Hotels near Island Hopping In El nido

The view from this resort is really amazing even if you stay in the garden view room (you can always climb up the hill and have rest on the lounges there). But it's a bit noisy because of 24/7 working electricity generator and water pump (I guess that was their sound). Although electricity and hot water is not very stable like almost everywhere in El Nido. Corong Corong is the best place to stay in El Nido I'm sure, and the beach Las Cabanas which is situated right near the hotel (but you have to climb from there some hundreds steps up, so be ready for that! if you have been to the best hotel on Santorini in Greece you won't complain) is really one of the best beaches of El Nido as well, and if you are near Las Cabanas you don't need these everyday island-hoppings to enjoy your stay in El Nido. E.g. the main beach of Corong Corong is nothing to compare with Las Cabanas. The service is standard (they will offer you all the famous tours ABCD, all possible activities and rent a van to Puerto Princesa or anywhere else), the staff is helpful with all your bags and all you may ask. Every time you'll go to the beach you may ask a towel at the reception. The restaurant is nice for view and dinner, included buffet breakfast is also good. The rooms are a bit small and stuffy. I don't like air-conditioners but I had to use it. No Wi-Fi and no SMART signal (only at the reception desk and in the restaurant up the hotel). В номере душновато, трудно проветрить, номер маленький, если открыть окно - круглосуточно шумит электрогенератор и водонасос, хотя всё равно перебои с горячей водой и светом случаются регулярно. It’s my 5th time in El Nido but this is my very first time to stay in El Nido town. I booked the first part of my El Nido trip at Cuna Hotel for 3 days/2nights. It’s, a 2 month old midrange property on soft opening conveniently located in town, close to the restaurants and shops, and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s an impressive, modern hotel with a gorgeous Skydeck offering a view that more than makes up for it not being a beachfront property. It has a spacious, air conditioned lobby, tastefully designed rooms with modern bathrooms, hot and cold shower, a small infinity pool, and surprisingly like most smaller hotels and hostels - a snack corner with coffee, tea and cookies available for free 24/7. The breakfast buffet at the Skydeck was good too, with the bacon worthy of mention. Cuna claims they are the first hotel in El Nido to use key cards, and I guess one of the few with an elevator. The rooms are spotless; it’s pretty impressive that they’re able to maintain clean and shiny floors to think that most of the people going in came from the beach! Plus the airconditioning is more than sufficient for the room size; it quickly gets cool, and that’s important after a hot day in the sun! There was a letter in the room and several posts in the lobby informing guests about ongoing construction during the day and apologizing for the noise and any inconvenience. As I was mostly out during the day (leaving the hotel after breakfast) for island hopping and some diving, I didn’t even notice any work going on by the time I return late in the afternoon. I’d recommend this hotel to friends and I’d book this property again if ever I go back to El Nido anytime soon.

Super nice and clean Hotel, everything you need to have a good time in El Nido! The only thing what was missing was a WIFI connection, but they informend us in advanced that there isnt going to be a signal. The stuff is very friendly and helpfull. The place is quite and peaceful. The beach is actually amazing, the view is much better then the one in El Nido, but the sand was kind of dirty with all the plastic and stuff. At the end we really enjoyed our stay there and would go again!

Wonderful stay at Lagun! Hotel is new and very beautiful. Nice comfortable and stylish rooms. Incredible rooftop pool. Tasty buffet breakfast. Decent wifi which worked most of the time. Food and cocktail menu very expensive so did not try. I did not like that you needed to exchange a "pool card" for towels. The hotel was expensive and this seemed like a practice for a cheap hotel. Also be aware that the bathroom in the room has glass walls. This offers no privacy using toilet or shower. This was very inconvenient for my stay but might be fine for some. Also be aware that hotel charges a hefty deposit. Plan ahead as atm's and cash are hard to get in El Nido. They can use a credit card but refund would take 1 month.

Booked this hotel because of the good reputations in the internet. Let me mention, that I had spent afterwards in other 3 hotels in El Nido. In the end, this was one of the best hotels. I wanted a room with wifi, ac and near the beach. That was exactly offered by the hotel. Pro: - Wifi worked perfectly in my room - the ac worked fine - is based directly at El Nido beach - nice terrace to sit with view at the beach / ocean - included breakfast was acceptable - nice and helpfully staff Contra: - no electricity from 6am to 2pm but this is a El Nido thing, but there are other hotels, which are running their own generator for the meantime - pricy generally the value for money for all hotels in El Nido is much(too) high - the beach is not spectacular as the water is not really clean, swimming is in my idea not recommended.

I initially booked this hotel because we needed a room that can fit 6 pax. I didnt know until we arrived there that it is located in the heart of El Nido. A couple of pasalubong stores are lined up in front of the hotel while BPI and Metrobank are just a couple of meters away. Not to mention, the jump off for island hopping is just at the back of the hotel!! We just saved a couple of bucks for tricycle rides because we can easily walk to anywhere we needed to be in El Nido esp for dinners. As for the loft, I was quite disappointed with the room we got because the space is cramped for 6 pax. Also, there was no place to hang our wet clothes. I requested for two clothes rack and the staff gladly obliged so our dilemma was solved. Breakfast buffet was so good too! Lots of options and they will cook your egg in front of you upon request. They also allowed us to check in early (we arrived at 12nn) since our room was available. The only downside of this hotel is they dont have an elevator. Our room is located on the 4th floor so we have to go up 4 flights of stairs each time. Nevertheless, I’ll definitely stay here again if I return to El Nido :)

This place is a short drive south of the main town in El Nido between Corong Corong and Marimeg Beaches. The room was nice, but the bed was a bit firm and the shower was not separated from the toilet. The toilet would need to be wiped down after a shower, but the views of sunset from the 2nd floor deck cannot be beat. The Outpost hostile is just next door for late night fun. The small pool is a nice touch and the staff was incredible! Josephina was a great host and took very good take of us. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again.

El Nido is a place with many braches, and at the end of each is a paradise on its own. Casa Kalaw is the main artery that connects these branches and offers a slice of paradise by itself. Just 5 minutes away from the airport, one does not waste time on extra land or sea travel just to get to a resort that offers the features of a world-class hotel. The Casa Kalaw Staff are very well trained and answer your needs from arrival to departure. The rooms are clean and cozy, the pool is warm and freshening and the accessibility to the beach, stores, bank and dining options is ideal. Breakfast is well-made everyday and offers variety. The beach itself is very pristine and ine can laze around the whole day and still be impressed at it. Just a 20 minute ride south to the town or 20 minutes north to Nacpan beach, Casa Kalaw is certainly at the center of where you should be in El Nido. Everything priced very fairly. Definitely worth coming back to again and again!

Balai Adlao, is located in Lio eco-tourism estate, together with sister hotels Casa Kalaw and Hotel Covo. Whilst the Lio tourism resort is quite a distance from the main streets in El Nido town, it is made accessible by a complimentary hourly shuttle bus service from TKDC central office in El Nido town. The rooms are clean and spacious, good value for money. Hotel staff are all warm and friendly. The resort was lit up with pretty eco-friendly christmas decorations (think wooden trees) when we were there in December. There are restaurants (and a massage spa) located within the Lio resort so we didn’t need to head out of the resort when we wanted to wind down after a full day of island hopping! Jetty provides a really pretty view of the sunset too. Overall definitely a great place to stay for travellers looking for a hideaway from the usual buzz of El Nido. Will choose to come back to this place if I’m back in El Nido in the future!

March 2016 I struggled to decide on a hotel in El Nido for our 3-day stay; there were so many options and a lot had mixed reviews. My only apprehension in initially booking at Swiftlets was the 10 minute walk into town. I'm glad I went with my gut and chose this hotel because my boyfriend and I felt very safe during the walk back to the hotel at night. This place was really clean and the staff were awesome, providing a delicious breakfast and arranging all of our island hopping tours each morning (no need to book in advance). The area is noisy, but I can't see how staying directly in town would be any better. There's no chance you're getting away from the early morning chicken wake-up calls if you want to visit this area. Also, the wifi and electricity was spotty, but honestly, it comes with the territory. My friends stayed in a more expensive accommodation and it seemed like they had even less wifi availability than we did at Swiftlets. That said, the air conditioning unit and tv, while not a necessity for us, were great to have. We had a wonderful time at Swiftlets and I'd highly recommend. In case it helps, our itinerary: Day 1: Trike to Nacpan Beach Day 2: Island Hopping Tour C Day 3: Island Hopping Tour A (a must-do!) Left on the morning of Day 4 for Puerto Princesa via Daytripper van.

I researched lots of hotels in El nido and chose this hotel on my birthday. I absolutely enjoyed the hotel and met my expectations for what I paid for. Room was sparkling clean, used good quality furniture, double door to prevent noise from street, balcony to dry clothing, comfortable mattress, facilities were well looked after. Staff were very nice. I did not have time to use a swimming pool as I was too busy exploring around. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Clean but small room. Right on the beach in el nido. Aircon worked well and there was hot water in the shower. Beachfront room is a very good option if available. I can highly recommend booking island hopping via hotel. Crew on the boat was great, left on time and headed to less crowded places 1st. Amazing lunch on board by far the best bbq sea food I had in PH and all done on a shaky boat.

Corong-corong is roughly 15 minutes away via tricycle from the El Nido airport. This part out of town is considered to be in the outskirts of the most popular area which is El Nido Town Proper. Best decision I made to stay here at Stunning Villas--it overlooks the ocean and you can walk right out to it. Do keep in mind that this isn't like all the other beaches--you're welcome to go for a dip, but it is shallow waters and there are somewhat sharp rocks to walk past through. This area, I would say is more of a hub where people can park their boats. Nonetheless, the view is spectacular. Through the beach you can walk to eateries; my favorites being Doublegem (a restaurant and hotel) and La Plage. If you want some peace and serenity, stay in this area. There are some construction taking place as you can imagine, Palawan is becoming more and more of a destination area and the province is trying to keep up with it. If you want more a more "lively" feel, stay in Town Proper. Tons more restaurants and bars, although crowded and loud all throughout the night. Another tip for travelers--I think mostly directed to those who have high expectations with "all inclusive resorts"--keep in mind that you are still in a country that's considered very poor. The level of service they provide is considered outstanding in comparison to the condition the locals are living in. Most places you go within Palawan, electricity is ran by generators so expect some outage, if it even occurs. The locals are also very honest and humble. You'll realize that prices for the tricycle rides are standard across the board and no one is trying to haggle you. You will definitely get your money's worth here so try not to be too stingy and appreciate the local's services. Love it here and will certainly be back--I just hope the area doesn't change too much, even though tourism will almost guarantee that it will.

Pros: - Good breakfast buffet (the selection wasn't that varied but it was adequate and everything was tasty!) -Communication with hotel was good (The transfer from and to Puerto Princesa and to Island hopping was very easy) -Room (Very nice shower and the interior was cute) -Beach (Lio Beach is really a nice place to chill and sunbathe!!!! Super relaxing ambiance. Water isn't as nice as the other beaches you'll go to during your island hop but it's not bad) -Eco friendly hotel and resort Cons: -Room (beds were a bit uncomfy for some reason. I think it's the mattress, but the pillows were great. During our last day, the aircon wasn't working well anymore) Overall, would recommend and would stay in Lio again. Might try other hotels in Lio estate but for the price and location, wouldn't mind staying in Hotel Covo again.

Eventhough its a bit expensive comparing to others, the cleanliness, friendly staff and the location is great. The hotel has a lot of facilities we needed (AC, Hot water, etc). The staff helped us in everything we needed, and always smiling. We would come back here and we will recommend it to our friends. One thing we didnt like too much was that we had to pay additional for the breakfast. If you are staying in el Nido, this hotel is the one you are looking for. You have what you pay. And everything is near.

We spent 4 days 3 nights in Casa Cecilia. We all had a goodnight sleep, electricity is available throughout the day. We arrived at 7pm and el nido is almost pitch black; however, power is available in the hotel including aircon. Wifi is also available in the room. We are located at room 204. As commented by other reviewers, casa cecilia is centrally located - thus, you will have access to everything and the beach is 2 or 3 minutes away. The size of the room is ok and fits 4 adults and 1 child. In terms of price, I believe its value for money compared to other hotels offered in Agoda. It also includes plated breakfast but no choices. Disadvantages: no tv even in the rooms or lobby. Early checkout at 10am but they allowed us to extend for another hour. It is our first time in el nido. We availed of both Tour A and Tour C; we enjoyed tour A better since we were able to do kayaking in several islands while doing island hopping. Tour A includes the big and small lagoon which are usually included in some local or foreign movies. The water of el nido is crystal clear, its like swimming in an endless aquarium with corals and fishes. Try also to do kayaking from the port to the nearest island like we did - it refreshing and enjoyable and can be done in 30 minutes or less. If you are a group of 4 or more, it is best to hire a private boat rather than paying the individual rates like we do. It would maximized your time and truly enjoy the view. You may also recommend the food that will be prepared for your lunch in the island. Room Tip: Choose the room at the back. Like in our case 204, it has view of the cliff.

garnet hotel is one of the better ones we saw in el nido and we were sure glad we had picked it. location was great and almost on the beach. it also features a nice common area to chill out after long days of tours. staff is friendly and the hotel is kept clean. the hotel is very close to art cafe which many travelers use as reference point and first destination for booking tours. the shower has hot water which is not common in el nido, even though not constant. overall, we liked it very much and would recommend to stay here.

Its my second time in El Nido, and staying at this hotel is an experience. Centrally located within the port area, this hotel provides easy access to those who plans island hopping which is mainly the number 1 "to do" things in El Nido. The whole town shuts their electricity source from 6am to 2pm but this hotel provides power generator making it a more pleasurable stay. They also filter deep-well water which is very important. Other hotel doesn't filter their source of water. We arrived at the hotel midnight and the staffs were widely awake to accomodate us. The owner, who's a doctor helped us get the best rates for island tour. He even gave us ideas on best restos to eat. I definitely recommend this hotel and will surely comeback in our future trips.

10-15 mins walk away from town. Wifi and cellular signal is a challenge depending on what is the location of your room. Just bear in mind that el nido is an isolated island so this is normal. It is quite a walk from the town but tricycles are available and you can always rent a motorcycle. Also, water is a little bit tricky so it is best to just use it for shower but not washing for your mouth. Staff is friendly and they allowed us to check in early (9am) Overall, I believe I am okay to pay the price for the quality of room and service that I got.

We arrived to El Nido at 11pm, after a 5-hour van ride from P.Princessa. It suited us perfectly that the hotel was at a 2 minutes walk from the van/bus terminal. The staff was great, they checked us in within 5 minutes; allowed us to take a shower after our island-hopping /prior to our ride back to PP. The room (upstairs, next to the stairs) is so clean. Sheets - smell wonderful. Bed - very comfortable. The room has: table+chair, bamboo/straw cabinet, AC (it can be set as a fan as well), curtains, clean bathroom, small balcony (not fully decorated, but OK if you like to step out to the fresh air). Breakfast: toast+eggs+butter+jam or rice+sausage (coffee/tea/juice). The hotel has a lovely green garden and a terrace that serves as dining space. It is very close to a power-generating station which emits constant buzzing noise (similar to that of AC). We didn’t mind much as we were exhausted and didn’t spend much time at the hotel. You get used to it quickly :) Great stay!

Other than the typhoon causing the island tours and scuba to be cancelled, we had a great time in El Nido and it helped that we had a nice place to hole up in while the weather wasn't cooperating. Even though they don't cook / have a restaurant on site, they still provided room service, getting a few meals for us from the near by restaurant. They also arranged island hopping / land tours and scuba at competitive rates and it makes it easy on you if you take them up on their offers. Tricycles for transportation are plentiful right out front, even though its a little way from El Nido town proper (which makes it a little quieter at night). Overall, it's a very nice place to stay for the price.

Second time in el nido what a great place. The hotel is in renovation but you dont really get all the dust and noise that come with it. Location is top, more quiet then staying lets say near the puka bar and at 3 minutes walk from the main street its hard to beat. Rooms are a bit old and dated but its still clean and the staff is great. The free breakfast is very good.

We stayed here for our time in El Nido. The hotel was nice and had a fab location. The hotel was located about a 5 minute tricycle ride from the main town. We really enjoyed this as it was away from the busy center. The hotel was right next to a beach that was perfect in the evenings for a drink - highly recommended. The staff were great and organized our tours seamlessly. Transfers from the hotel to the main port were all organized and very close. The hotel is hard to find as it is new - the hotel is right next to the royal palms hotel. El Nido is know for electricity black outs - but the hotel had a generator that worked perfectly. There was no wifi, but this is common for El Nido. Before you travel to El Nido make sure to take out cash as the machines ran out when we were there. Good stay.

When we arrived Mitch (the manager I think) greeted us very warmly! They escorted us to our room which is right next to the restaurant. We were a bit sceptical at first but when we entered our room and went to our balcony the view from our room was phenomenal! It has a panoramic view of El Nido facing the beach! Perfect for those who wants to relax. The room was small but cozy! Shower room looks a little old but still good. Water heater, water pressure, toiletries are good. Breakfast was great, big servings and delicious! We stayed for 3 nights but was only able to get one of 2 of our breakfasts because we had to leave early on the 3rd day to Coron. Just a few steps away from restaurants and the famous seafood grills at nice at the beach. Place wasn't noisy, no mosquitos too! Overall, I would recommend this place to others who would like a hassle free and relaxing stay in El Nido.

This is a family run Inn, and they try so hard to make sure you are comfortable. It's service that every hotel should offer, but lose sight of. For the price, it is an excellent choice. The view from the rooms is as good as any other hotel/Inn in El Nido, so there is no reason to pay extra anywhere else. I support small business, and appreciate the kindness and ambitious attitude that smaller establishments provide. Thank you Ingrids Inn, for my memorable 3 night stay! (hotel offers good WiFi, air conditioning and fan together in the rooms, free breakfast and a generator for when the power lapses).

I was extremely hesitant to book this hotel since there were no reviews about it. Still I thought why not give it a try since they were offering something so reasonable...so we checked in...no hassle, the villa that we got for 2,500 pesos was unbelievably clean and spacious, it is located in corong corong which is really far from the city center (in a good way)...peaceful, with magnificent scenery from the veranda of the villa that was given to us, very accessible to the center and to the "swimming" area. I'd say that this "inn" is far better than the previous hotels that I checked in before here in El Nido. The owners of the hotel were very accomodating and flexible. Since dining out in El Nido is the ONLY option that you have since most of the hotel owners are not as accomodating as Ms. Rose who with very short notice agreed to cook out bought "fish" for dinner. The kids did enjoy our 2 nights stay in this "inn"...I wonder if they can change it into something else. The villa that we got is extremely well maintained so no mosquitoes and no bed bugs...I highly recommend it to those want to get the value for their money. Price was definitely the plus factor 2,500 for 7 people with breakfast! Unbelievable cheap!!!! Will definitely come back to Columbus Inn.

We had a room off the back- it was quiet and shaded. There was little housekeeping, and we had to ask for toilet paper and other supplies. Wifi was non-existant, though it was only marginally better in the rest of el nido. This was by far our most expensive stay in Ph, but underwhelming overall. We would have changed accommodations, but the cancelation policy is awful.
